it was only a matter of time before the prolific electro stalwart scape one aka kurt baggaley made an appearance on cpu. scape ones penchant for sci-fi is reflected in recombination an electronic adventure through space time, stopping briefly for an atomic war. kurts vast experience and collection of analogue synthesizers can be heard to full effect with crushing bass, bubbling leads and arpeggiated sweeps throughout. strong artistic influences on the ep from john foxx, vangelis to autechre (incunabula-esque). all in all a cocktail for the perfect electro cut.

van kaye + ignit is the dutch duo of ed van kasteren (van kaye) and ignatine bekken(ignit), who joined forces in the city of arnhem during early 1980. while at university, van kaye was the singer of the monomen, a local new wave band. by the end of 1979 he had become more interested in the use of electronics and rhythmic industrial patterns. in april 1980 he released a demo cassette with 30 minutes of his own work titled a slight delay.

this month athens of the north presents two 45 s from a true musical genius, weldon irvine. here we have 2 classic sides taken from the 1976 lp sinbad on rca. the vocals don blackman are certainly the equal of marvin gayes whats going on for conscious soul perfection, i don t think i can give it higher praise than that. this is in my top 5 records of all time dont think, buy it.

here at nang towers we are really happy to have back slovenian talent sare havlicek, without any doubt one of our favourite producers, and to present you all his latest creation *movies for lovers*. sometimes we like to try something a bit different. often the process of creating an album can be a not-so-simple task: which tracks are the singles? which is the breather track? do we have ten songs? have we covered all the bases? the list goes on. sometimes the answer is to throw convention out the window and just try to harness a burst of energy and get it down on eighteen minutes-a-side of vinyl. we gave sare the following brief: lock yourself in a studio for four weeks and come up with a piece of cohesive work. abandon the formulas, do some experimenting and (most importantly) try some things you wouldnt normally do. *movies for lovers* is the result of that session and encapsulates the feeling of the journey sare embarked on to bring you this album.

the anonymous man power makes his debut on throne of blood with the labels first release in 2015. closely affiliated with jennifer cardinis correspondant records, hes been making waves across the underground over the past couple years with remixes and releases on labels including hivern discs, eskimo records, ene, infiné, rothmans, and is it balearic? with a debut lp in the can for correspondant and 12inches due on voyeurhythm, renate schalplatten, and discos capablanca, this unknown producer and dj is definitely one to keep an eye on in 2015.

the eccentrics parties started some three years ago by will and mark, have been a monthly staple of the eclectic nightlife scene in peckham since its inception. the party has hosted many great guests over its three years, such as andi hanley, piers softrocks, toby tobias, phil mison, frank tope, bill brewster and many more. this 12inch is the culmination of mark and will saving their hard earned gig money so they can present the sound of eccentrics to a wider audience. these edits were put together along with another local hero sanky (a regular guest) whom has kindly provided the system edit and the artwork for the jacket.

the second volume of bushwick is melting features original unreleased material by brooklyn-based producers black meteoric star, lorna dune, and j. slusher. gavin russom apparently has a new black meteoric start lp on the way and we can t wait based on the epic, sweeping grandness that is the 18 minute a-side hogger unearthed arcana which is quite hypnotic when in full flight. the b-side finds lorna dune putting her experiments with the piano to one side to focus on some celestial house moves with reflux which will appeal to fans of legowelts more star gazing moments whilst the wonderfully named j. slusher closes out the record with the face melting techno cut night train

hannu ikola is a finnish artist and owner of the etherwerks label, releasing his third record on the imprint. *chrysalis* is a four track opus of raw and swarthy techno. in the tracks ikolas musical inspiration from experimental and ambient music can be heard.

the kestrel (turmfalke) will rise in spring 2015, starting the new label by matthias springer with focus on physical media. the philosophy behind is to invite friends to this special cross-over concept. every artist presents an original in combination with remixing eachother. in the end 4 tracks on one release, no special genre is preset, everything can happen. frank hellmond is the special guest on the first turmfalke release, bringing in his unique deephouse flavour that features some pretty nice vocals from snowflake, while matthias is turning it into a combination of dub and acid ... but just have a listen.

what can be said about kerri chandler that hasn t already been said? the man is one of the greats of contemporary house music, a true legend & one of the most hard working & consistent producers out there today. trionisphere, his (second) lp from 2003 has it all, those gritty drums, the deep garage groove, the church feeling that influences so much of his sound & those bass-lines that he s renowned for are all here, not forgetting the outstanding vocal performances from his long-time collaborator dee dee brave amongst a cast of other guests. the sounds on the lp are wide ranging, from the uplifting latin swing of ye yo ma (mother) to the sparse, pacey, heads down house of it s you we re treated to a glimpse into mr.chandler s sound world across 2x12inchs & we all know that can only be a good thing! trionisphere has always been a fond favourite with house aficionados around the world & hasn t been available for a little while.until now! fully re-mastered, re-pressed & re-released in conjunction with king street sounds, nyc & made available again for 2015 in it s original format with the permission & participation of all rights holders. now s your chance to own a piece of ny/nj house history!

the endurance club was launched in london on friday 13th november 2009 and ran as a regular party for the next three years. the aim was to treat electronic body music as an important genre in its own right rather than just a sub genre of industrial music, whilst linking it to early house and techno, belgian new beat and synthesizer dance music in general. body party is a tribute to all those that were part of the endureance club and to the artists that made the records we danced to.
