allfeelings is releasing a 12- in dedication to his love for early dub techno coming out of berlin. the idea behind the title “untitled” is to give the listeners more space to interpret the tracks themselves rather than being distracted with any track names. as allfeelings music label is about the amalgamation of sounds and rhythms to bring about a visceral experience. this can be observed in the african inspired percussion on side a and the subtle changes and movement it has throughout its length. side b focuses more on easy listening with sounds and dry textures meandering slowly demanding the listener’s attention at all times. the other great thing about this record is it works really well pitched down which can be used to great effect during warm ups and after hours. this release has the support from ario and o:utlier from astral industries.

(recorded from 1993-2000) they were incredibly kind in saying it was the best demo they had ever heard and passed it on to octal records for release. sadly. that didn t materialize and since then these masters have been collecting dust in our cassette rack for nearly 20 years now. we ve spent months doing our best to restore the old tapes from our tascam 688. an 8 track cassette recorder purchased and abused since 1992 and to our ears still sounds quite impressive even by modern standards. we ve had nearly every component replaced and re-calibrated to bring this obsolete machine back to life. it s been a truly nostalgic experience re-visiting and redesigning these masters. we truly hope you enjoy reliving these magical times of music. very inspired by all that was happening in those years. there was just something in the air. an undeniable energy. long may it live on..

one of the deepest reaching projects from the multifaceted vibraphone stable resurfaces for an extended trip through ambient sonics that marks possibly the most daring departure on the esteemed italian label to date. the harmonious tones undulating throughout sketches from space are instant soothers. taking the odd cue from techno but defiantly beatless and meditative. its a surprising addition to the long and winding vibraphone story. but also feels like one of the strongest steps forward the resurgent label has taken since returning to the fray. just try sinking into lagrangian point l4 and you ll see exactly what we mean.

tresor is glad to announce the release of manni dee’s first album the residue . on june 15th. based in london. manni dee is held in high esteem by many for his spotless production and relentless dj sets. the gleaming rendition of manni s creative vision stuns. he knows sounds inside-out. making his studio a favorite stop for many to receive manni’s expertise. the production of the residue’ was inspired by the city of london and its general living conditions. more particularly. how social cleansing. inequality and the political situation generally - and on a holistic scale - informs internal and external locus of control. the residue’ is disconsolate. and with such heart-wrenching tracks as “in communal solitude”. “vicarious living” or “submit. breathe.” or the mutinous “at mercy of the muse” and “paroxysm” manni dee clearly cuts out his insurgent statement. in parallel to his regular dj schedule. manni dee will also take his sonic proclamation in its live pa form out to the most advanced stages starting this summer.

zuli’s new offering trigger finger is a game of shadowy atmospheres and unquiet spirits. it functions as a spacial and temporal compactor. using sampling and field recordings to reconstruct reality’s dissonance. while at the same time reverse its own introspective character into bass weight and outworked tension. a kind of extremization of zuli’s own roots as a beatmaker for the cairo rap scene. tinged with the clandestine and delirious urbanism of grime and jungle. and fronted by the necessity to face its own dark side. but the dark and crusty sonic palette does not limit the possibility for the tracks to display various layers of emotional content.

only one month after the release of their first ep on mt on may 2018. vactrol park continue surprising. this time with a full lp in the shape of “music from the luminous void”.the album sees vp delve much deeper into more atmospheric realms. using modular synths and unexpected drum machine sequencing they leave the 4x4 beats behind in favor of off-world rhythms and ever growing bass.
..... starting with drops’s high frequency tension. laying on top of those heavy kick drums it keeps on growing and growing. from there it moves to the “end of the party” groove that is novikov’s notation. and its trippy monotonic rhythm. the a-side ends with the heavy sampled ambient track macbeth. bringing forward that mesmerizing flute solo by italian artist luca spagnoletti yet succeeding in avoiding the kitsch. and with a touch of class.
.....the b-side delves even deeper into ambience and atmospheric muzak. starting with bells. that features again spagnoletti on flute. then we get into the real gems of the album - anstruther and glove. the first is a pure trip into modular psychedelia and repetitive jazzy-like drum rhythms. creating tension right from the start and plays with it throughout the track before decaying slowly into glove. which is in sense both the catharsis and the decompression session of the album. like a 2018 version of vangelis. this track’s soundscape will keep you dreaming with your eyes closed long after the album ends.
