it is not the honor that you take with you. but the heritage you leave behind. we don’t have every day a rework of a classic techno milestone on a label that tries to push the boundaries of the future. but this time is the time. thomas schumacher represents one of those artists that was there since the very beginning. and he is the proof of how an artist can evolve in many ways during the years. but always been devoted to techno. and the meaning of it. “when i rock” was played all over the world for decades but now gets a brand new rework by label boss emmanuel. and the creator itself thomas schumacher. the record has a b/w sleeve cover design by caitlin schumacher on 12”.

multi-talent joyce muniz is definitely one to look out for. initially starting her career as a vocalist. she now took over the global house music scene within no time as a deejay and producer as well. exhibiting her talent with previous releases. its not surprising that shes on the roster of prestigous labels such as exploited records and 20/20 vision recordings. next year she will release her single toxic people on international deejay gigolo records featuring the singer. songwriter and producer demetr1us. toxic people is a vibrant and raw sounding electro house cut featuring grimy synths and vocals. that lend the track a cold and distant atmosphere. the artwork for toxic people was created by leipzig-based artist silvia trost. whose forth lies in oil and acrylic paintings. she now frequently collaborates with glitch art artists and loves to mix materials and techniques. both analogue and digital. the b-side dreamz is another great production by joyce muniz. the playful groove and eclectic ambient makes it a cool package.

as summertime comes. exprezoo records squeezes out the best of its crew for a fresh release: youll probably remember george kranzs >din daa daa< (trommeltanz)... this is just a modern reinterpretation by the exprezoo guys that comes to life through a bootleg vinyl with a very limited 100 copies.
the first mix by alexxei n nig. is a dancefloor killing reconstruction of the beatline. keeping most of the original voices. the 2nd one by decoside. takes you directly under the sunrise with a deep soulful synthline and a fine jazzy groove. the 3rd one by quike is a very well working tool keeping the central voice to introduce a pumping reprise
first press hand-numbered one sided white label. hordes of berghain freaks and techno headz go crazy about (b1) >blofunk< - another collection of fab grooves from doctor vinyl!! supported by ricardo villalobos! includes digital download coupon.
