paper tree sneaked out into the world for a moment a few years back and then vanished. lee burridge loved the track so much that he continued to harass rebelski. sometimes standing outside his window in the flower bed. for weeks on end until he finally agreed to let lee release it on all day i dream. not content with a single track lee went back to rebelskis garden and tapped on the window repeatedly until he agreed to make some more beautiful tracks. obviously pestering producers in this manner bares fruit. the paper tree ep ranges from a beautiful solitary solo piano piece that wouldn t be amiss in a british period piece drama where someone dies unexpectedly leaving the survivors to deal with it. all the while maintaining their stiff upper lip. fly the kite made us want to go outside and do just that. so we did. it was epic. circles and squares joins paper tree as one of those dance floor moments best experienced with ones eyes closed. myriad is the sound of a young lady robots jewelry box (yes. we predict robots will be wearing jewelry in the future) that she(bot) pines to hear when she s all grown up and rusty. omoshiroi is. well. its just so damn pretty. good work rebelski. good work.

chreal01 is the debut project by scottish producer chaotic reality exploring a meditative side to techno. written over the course of several months spent living in new york as a resistance to the frenetic pace of a busy environment. chreal01 contains four tracks that repeat. oscillate and soundtrack a more centred existence. inspired by shinichi atobe. avalon emerson. newworldaquarium / ross154 & the 7th plain. each track in this self-released record is named after its sequence and operates on a slower tempo. focussing on melody and sound design. with aim to investigate the space between dub techno and early trance. track one opens with gentle dancing chords developing over 7 minutes. with subtle nods to echospace and black dogs otaku over a punchy kick and warm sub. reverb-licked stabs pass softly in and out the mix and ride over a homogenous chord range. highlighting points in the melody and meandering back into the ether. two has an introspective focus. rarely reaching more than two kicks per four bars. an arpeggiated lead centres the composition. slowly developing over a thick bassline. distant snaps and pops season the track and highlight the empty breathing space intentionally left in the production. on the b-side. three is characterised by heavily saturated kicks softly thumping under a bubbling melody. broken by echo-delayed stabs varying in form. filter depth and feedback timing. on the closing song four. chaoticreality develops and sculpts a stack of delayed chords creating a progressively elevating soundscape. the lead melody chords layer and discord changing thickness. shape and form throughout with pseudo kicks acting as a complimentary melody. here. cr plays with space to creating a hypnotic spacial production akin to digital justice or the orb. with the intention to take the listener to a transcendental state. chreal01 is housed in a popset sleeve & hand stickered

answer code request’s 2014 debut lp code was an exciting moment for electronic music in berlin – one that offered a break from the eternal hall and monolithic 4/4 kicks that ruled the city’s club landscape. as a hybrid gesture. the album’s spirit recalled an especially fruitful era in the german capital from the mid-90s to early 2000s. when dub and pad- driven detroit techno cross-pollinated with berlin’s industrial aesthetic to create one of the city’s most exciting musical chapters.
opener laguna is a loopy. liquid track of fluttering drums and rubbery kicks that never lets up. ortica is more gloopy and wonky. with firmer kicks and aqueous sounds dripping off the groove. while lyra is beautifully delicate and intricate. with underwater life forms drifting by as gentle xylophones sounds dance around. the masterful minimalism continues on the dark. undulating and alien vilipendio. and things round out with the paranoid voices and panning synths of mekong . an unsettling track that has you looking over your shoulder.
it is undeniable that bjarki and his bbbbbb imprint are at the forefront of iceland’s dance music scene. playing a vital role in asserting the country as a hub for genre bending electronic music. although the label has proved to be a solid platform for bjarkis own experimental material. bbbbbb continues to host some of icelands best talents (notably last year’s lauded release from volruptus who followed up with another killer outing on т..р..и..п..). for bbbbbb’s 10th release bjarki continues to substantiate his a&r abilities. introducing the world to lord pusswhip. having enjoyed a meteoric rise as a key player in icelands hip-hop scene. the young producers sound has continued to evolve since befriending bjarki and the bbbbbb crew. and the hand of glory ep now sees him at arguably his most adventurous and experimental yet. murky atmospherics introduce xmas jam creep before a cacophony of percussion ups the energy. setting the tone for a dynamic release. crazy shit mane follows with its crunchy drums. scintillating synths and sultry bass until hop out the car blends hip-hop vocals with mesmerising chord sequences reminiscent of richard d.james early work. an undulating bassline then works alongside a chorus of angelic voices in ‘the hand of glory. making way for the syncopated and dreamlike shroomm0(u)rning. moving into ambient territories. green house living layers pads and samples together to generate an otherworldly aesthetic until choppa hard combines ominous drones with a steady beat to conclude the release.

nice price deal !!! man invented the machine and from its circuits music with soul was created. > soul machine< is about rediscovering the creative ritual between man and its machines. the man is helder russo and he will drive you through a futuristic motor city soundtrack with an atlantic feeling. > soul machine< is a kind of techno rebel record. in a sense that its not a product of the industry. its rather the soundtrack for an imaginary society. with soul as the unifying element between men and technology. the type of record that mojo could play in his fabled radio show and make people connect through music. in fact this is very much about connecting. with the machines. with sounds and with each other. its about the endless ritual of creation and the challenge to transcend time and leave an inspirational mark. helder russo did his job. now make sure you appreciate the many hidden layers of this special record.
nice price deal !!! new a made up sound! following up on the frantic start-stop action of the ahead/endgame whitelabel from earlier this year. number 6 in the series features two expansive semi-live trips. after hours offers a brooding alternative soundtrack to that most underrated of scorsese movies. while what preset sounds like a launch into stratospheric jazz territory by way of some restless broken hardcore shuffle. highly recommended!

we are proud to be releasing the new alex smoke album ‘love over will’ as our first release of 2016. the title ‘love over will’ is a play on “do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law. love is the law. love under will”. the central tenet of thelema. created by famed occultist and ceremonial magician aleister crowley. with the central thread of the album being “a statement on the times we are living in. but with an optimism relating to ways forward that are possible”.

mixing heavy industrial influences with idm and electro to create some high impact sonic weaponry. this new offering from lower parts sees glaswegian producer. galaxian. on fine form. cosmic lifeforms. restless machine lines. frazzled synths and tough hits get things going before the ep moves into more ambient and then onto full force techno territory.

paul white received universal acclaim for producing the majority of danny browns genre-defying atrocity exhibition album. in 2016 he also released a collaborative record with open mike eagle. and began work on a slew of solo material to be released on r&s records. with a free beat tape ‘everything youve forgotten’ released in january he now returns with danny brown on two tracks that showcase a producer at the very top of his game and one of the most exciting mcs of his generation. accelerator is a fuzzed-out psych monster that defies conventions about what rap music should sound like in 2017. while lions den proves that paul white and danny brown can beat the traditionalists at their own game too. instrumentals are included for both. as well as hand-drawn artwork by paul white himself.
copenhagens music for dreams comes with yet another strong release - a double album of personal favourites compiled by jan schulte. according to all maps and witness accounts. germany does not officially have any tropical forests. this is of no concern to schulte however. who has unearthed many stunning examples of tropical drum music recorded there. perhaps the number of botanical gardens and palm houses in germany confused musicians into mistaking the climate. or maybe it was just a happy blend of escapism and multi-cultural integration within musical scenes that spawned such a curious output of undefinable tribal folk jazz. most of the tracks picked by schulte were released on small labels in the late 80 s. the musicians involved were mainly traditionally schooled. born and raised in germany. at that time to be interested in foreign folk music might have seemed a gimmick to some. what with the emerging -world music boom- already snowballing into the mainstream. but these songs. while they may be based on musical traditions from foreign lands. deal much more with introspection than exploitation. schulte himself points to his -general fascination for music that describes places where the artists have never been. songs about the jungle or the rainforest made by people that know the rainforest only from television and books. somehow i think you can hear their mythical imagination and fantasy in those tracks.- he explains....
gravitational 003 features two spaced-out ambient cuts from tbilisi-based artist hanker. a must for all sci-fi soundtrack enthusiasts out there. comes with a stellar blind observatory treatment on the flip side and a printed 21x21cm artwork.
r&s records present the three remixes from sporting lifes slam dunk series pressed to one slab of wax.
..these remixes all came from sporting lifes friends and contemporaries. actress turns in a stunning. typically deconstructed remix of court vision (feat evy jane) alternating between using the full vocal. the mood is one of melancholic hauntology. galcher lustwork comes correct with a tripped out. euphoric house reworking of hydrate peeling back the complexity of the original for a straight jack that oozes class. finally arch beat provocateur dean blunt provides a suitably oddball take with his babyfather honeytrap mix (for shakilus) final vip if youve heard the amazing babyfather album or mixtape you know what to expect here
the second release from mic comes from ladies as pimps - laps for short - is an anarchic glasgow duo formed by lady two collars of golden teacher and sue zuki from organs of love. their duets take centre stage on who me?: the vocal performances range from the stretched. soulful projections of ode to daughter to the lawless. clipped. sweet &. sour. spat-not- spoken word of edges. spirited percussion scatters in all directions and bass is smothered in tape delay. as the four tracks beat through dub. rnb. house. and way beyond. circling around acts like madame x. the bug. stuart argabright. francois k. mashing absurdity with dread. recorded at green door studios in glasgow (where the two met) and layered with the analogue production techniques learned on the first youth unemployment programme there. the energy and charisma of these recordings promise a pretty unique live show when they support princess nokia later this year. supported by ben ufo. dj moxie. pariah. optimo. nts. vinyl
apollo proudly presents a full release of the stunning debut album released by sw. sw s lush sound design and hypnotic arrangements nestles snugly alongside the classic 90’s apollo releases of biosphere and robert leiner in all their balmy glory. originally issued on vinyl only via sw’s own sued imprint. this apollo re-release represents something of a coup in that it’s the first of the label’s music to ever be presented digitally. as a label. sued has formed a reputation for releasing some of the most vital and sought after contemporary dance-floor vinyl. from both sw and svn. as well as collaborations and comradeship with other analogue obsessed auteurs such as dynamo dreesen (who teams up with svn as dresvn). dj sotofett. dj fett burger. pg sounds and club no-no. aka snorre magnar solberg.
a new transmission from the pasadena oceanlab by versalife. the start of a new saga where he explores the boundaries between electro romantic sounds and glitchy idm percussions. tracks that have already been highly sought after since his live performance at boilerroom in doornroosje. nijmegen earlier this year. a few people might have heard this release in an already legendary dj set by objekt during the freerotation festival this year. more parts are on their way.
figure jams is back with a another fresh and exciting pairing of artists. this time the record is a collection of pure analogue goodness. sparkling ripe with synthesizer magic. the a-side comes courtesy of duo-of-the-moment twr72. who happen to distill perfection through simplicity in their stripped-back productions. while‚polished is a pulsating bit of beatless yet captivating clean-cut loops. their other contribution shows their talent at crafting something lean. dry and punchy. which is still undeniably driving and hypnotic. picking up on the synth-heavy theme of this release is st. petersburgs finest aleksey niktin aka nocow. inspired by the endless baltic winters. the producer packs his tracks with emtions that feel cold but not icy. engulfing the listener in winching waves of melancholic electronica.
new years deal - spazio disponibile welcomes yet another new artist to their realm. this time the label welcomes producer grand river for its 11th release. and one that marks something of a new direction where ambient and experimental music will sit next to more dance floor fare. it s a direction already hinted at with marco shuttles full album earlier this year. and is now realised once more by aimee portioli. she is a multi instrumentalist. soundtrack composer and known for her deep and atmospheric sound and debuts on donato dozzy and neel s label with four lush ambient explorations. across the course of the tracks. fizzing. grainy ambiance makes way for dark atmospheres. then brighter synths arrive late on to bring some light to the shadows. elsewhere. undulating rhythms sway down low as muted keys and strings ripple in the distance. it makes for a cavernous world that keeps you in blissful suspense and overall this ep is a trip through a dark underground cavern with a spring day high up above. as well as this brilliantly cerebral ep. the future will also bring more spazio label nights across the world starting in 2018.
akumandra is the mexican imprint of sainte vie. the label promotes the exceptional artists riding the sub current of multicultural electronic music and. after 3 years of sharing its music for free. it s about to release on vinyl for the first time. sainte vie s music is a prime summary of what it means to hear in a post-genre universe. as trends are quickly rendered obsolete. the accumulation of culture debris is becoming more significant in relation to the producer the ability to create a nostalgic blur through a composition of artifacts and interpretations. paying homage to this. estacion inmortal (sainte vie s first ep) produces the afterglow associated with an auditory epiphany. the combination of mellow interludes. earthy chord progressions and acoustic-synthetic equilibrium have the capacity to conquer both communal space and solitude.
cpu and dance musics polymath neil landstrumm share a love for classic bleep techno. hence landstrumm has brought to the table four superb reminders of the criminally short lived genre. with spine tingling melodies reminiscent of 808 state s best work. and sub-bass worthy of lfo s bass-bin shaking reputation. a death. a mexican and a mormon perfectly encapsulates not only landstrumms influences but also his deep seated love for bleep. a labour of love which the sheffield based imprint has been only all too happy to encourage and hopes will keep the genre alive for generations to come.

to differentiate between his solo dance-oriented work to the darker tones. kaczmarek aka paul ritch launched his new album titled iiiiiiiiiiiiii on october 30th on his fresh imprint kczmrk. kczmrk is definitely a more personal project for paul. helping him define a newly found darker and more genuine taste to produce electronic music. which would even the most demanding audience left surprised. kaczmareks immersive sounds on his debut album were highly supported by respected artists of the underground scene such as sterac. vril. lewis fautzi. vsk and djedjotronic. who will contribute reworks that will come out in a remix ep in february 2018. the 12inch is gently introduced with a sophisticated remix of iiiii by techno pioneer sterac aka steve rachmad. continuing with vril’s remix of iiiiiiiiii who delivers beautiful ambient tones in a euphoric travel of sound. the b side begins with emerging talent lewis fautzi and his iiiis remix in a deep and hypnotic cut. followed by the curtesy of vsk and djedjotronics remixes of iiiiiiiii. vsk sticks to the dark and hard forms of techno with glimmer of deeper and industrial sounds while djedjotronic enrich kaczmareks dark techno tones with some futuristic idm.
tom wrankmore previously recorded under eliphino and now launches new project automne. automne has a two diametrically opposed themes within it. natural balance and transition and machine like. automated. music will explore the interplay between these two areas.
reeko debuts on avian. in recent years. the spanish producer’s name has become synonymous with exquisitely produced. hyper-functional techno variants. releases via pole group and planet rhythm as well as the artist’s own mental disorder outlet have seen juan rico develop a distinctive sound that places elements of noise & ambient within a contemporary techno framework – harnessing a dense. abrasive energy without compromising groove. layers of ethereal pads. filtered noise and feedback fx are compounded into a tight. mono space. pushing back on powerful. propulsive low end – making for a decidedly heady listening experience.
maciej banasik has been releasing plenty of music as mb as well as docetism since 2012. but this release on silent season marks the first time the prolific artist s music has been committed to wax. in true silent season style the mood is consistently haunting. leading in with the foggy pulse of dentario enneaphyllidis fagetum i before the second part of the piece heads off into pure swelling drone. querco pinetum i is a different kind of droning techno that comes loaded with cinematic poise. but it makes for a natural partner to the a side. the second part of that piece drifts into calming field recordings of birds and shapeless synth swells of a truly majestic nature.

blurt are perhaps the act who have played live at optimo more than any other. active for close to 40 years they are one of the uk’s all time great acts. phenomenal live and on record and supremely underrated. blurt mainman ted milton is a living legend. now in his 70s but more vibrant on stage than most artists 50 years his junior. he is a man of many talents. artist. poet. musician. performer…. in 1984 he released a solo 12”. “love is like a violē.nce”. a no doubt accidental dancefloor gem completely out of kilter with any other music of the era that now makes total sense in 2017. dubbed-out stabs. programmed rhythm. trademark sax squeals and a more subdued than normal vocal that is strangely reminiscent of vincent price. thee definition of a cult classic and much in demand. side a of this 12” presents the a and b side (the equally outre “it’s only recently that stalins have begun to roost”) of this mighty 12” on one side of vinyl.
swiss artist and veteran producer ripperton contacted the esp institute out of the blue mid-2017 to share a gorgeous mix of self-produced material. a collection of pieces made without any agenda outside of representing the self. not geared toward the dancefloor or a specific environment but simply a bi-product of introspective exploration. we were floored. the mix was on constant repeat in our world for weeks. then was subsequently pulled apart into separate titles to form this beautiful double lp. ripperton’s debut with the label. the title sight seeing speaks of someone stepping outside their current reality to look in the mirror. as if to ground themselves and keep sight of who they are in a world of extreme highs and lows. inspired greatly by expansive landscapes and views from airplane windows (imagine your commute flying over the alps every weekend). ripperton describes this collection as postcards to himself. messages from his subconscious recorded on tape (both conceptually and literally). melancholy soundtracks to the mondays that follow weekend journeys. while musical genres tend to cycle through bandwagon moments. the esp institute strives to operate independently of these. and while sight seeing is undoubtably an ambient album. we’re simply proud to revel in the chance moment where an esteemed artist such as ripperton spreads his wings in a beautifully unexpected mode of expression.

the empire line present six cyclonic episodes for confined spaces on their debut album. rave. comprised of posh isolation s christian stadgaard (damien dubrovnik. vanity productions). jonas ronnberg (varg). and with isak hansen (iron sight) on tantrums. the trio s marauding live shows have been translated into a slippery set of pummelling techno works. watermarked with florid noise. rave is a celebration of contemporary rave culture. focused on the everlasting and transcendent as the night slips out past the day. with living-for-the-weekend hedonism irretrievably converted into a manicured. violent cliche. building new worlds and forging new modes of intimacy takes an exceptional sincerity. naming some of the crews closest to the empire line in the album s titles. their spaces are examples of just how rave culture persists as a transgressive stronghold in people s lives. ranging from k-hole anthems to jacking. close-range sessions. rave still bears the traces of the group s experimental background. ensuring the tension is kept up through the catharsis.
the debut ep from aussie producers turner street sound has finally blossomed! the duo comprised of rory mcpike (aka rings around saturn) and ryan hunter (aka midnighttenderness) first collaborated on stoned mix for domestic documents vol.1 in 2016. shaking bass bins in its path. the collection of tracks on bunsen vol.1 recorded between 2014 and 2017 encapsulate the boys influences with a turner street twist
after a first ep of the year from stl. the solar phenomena label now welcomes romania’s romansoff. the raw tools label boss hails from bucharest and has also released his gritty. stripped back house and techno on creme organization and sportiv. here he offers four new tracks. with one remix from timedance man ploy completing the package.
halo epitomises romansoff’s style with its slow. heavy drums and sparse. scattered perc sounds. a lo-fi melody adds colour. while coach jacket ups the ante with busier claps and crashing hits laid over a turbulent. unsettled bassline. increasing the pressure further. graded grows manic with punchy drums. layers of fuzzy synths and bass and distant cries that are dark and unsettling. ploy flips this one into a prickly and atmospheric drum track that keeps you on edge.
after the widespread acclaim for -shoulders back- and -july v-. leif fires up his 10- tio series with another pair of dazzling. future-minded cuts for the more inquisitive dancefloor. increasingly he s been moving away from house and techno conventions towards intriguing broken beat variations. and that s apparent in abundance on this new release. -bluebird- rides on a set of tough but dynamic drum ripples. but the stand-out element is the gorgeous twinkling arpeggio that pirouettes over the top of the beat. -number 13- meanwhile takes a moodier. dubbier approach without losing that deft programming. harmonic warmth and crafty rhythmic interplay that has become leif s calling card in recent times.

so low is an occasional night in glasgow run by iona fortune. jd twitch. katie shambles and becky marshall. so low is strictly for creatures of the night and plays music that could perhaps be described by the words dark waves / cold waves / minimal synthesis / maximal industrial / lo-nrg / forgotten flemish goth bands. teutonic apocalyptic beats +++ it is now also a label. administered by optimo music. the third release on so low is a 5-track ep from ian hicks. formerly one half of soft metals. ian also appeared on our “now & then” compilation ep. here he commands his own release and sets the synths to stun with 5 tracks of analogue waves ranging from the xtc bliss out of “character collapse” and “depths of psyche” to the shockwave klang of “chemical environments” and “specter”. perhaps leaving the very best to last with the ultimate hypno. sex slug groove of “continuous”. subliminal vocals. wrecked drum boxes. synths spiralling. full colour picture sleeve designed by so low collective member and acclaimed glasgow artist katie shannon.
3 years on. and after their first critically acclaimed album on versatile. five steps (aka jonathan fitoussi and clemens hourrière). who have been likened to the godfathers of the synthesizer genre (think suzanne cianni. françois bayle or morton subotnik and you re almost there!) are back with espaces timbrés a brand new episode in their exploration of the legendary modular synthesizer - the buchla. specially crafted for versatile records. after 2 years of tireless work. ever pushing and furthering their musical research. fitoussi and hourrière reveal to us new territories. textures. sounds and feelings to explore with the help of the equally legendary i:cube on mixing duties to add even more sonic reflections and mixing desk wizardry. this one s a hyper-jump into the future made possible through a machine from the past. giving birth to those most captivating of electronic mantras... dive in. the water s warm!
this is an exploded drawing. unlocked from time: nhk yx koyxen walks at any speed and on any surface he desires to trance-scend. his “parallel tempo ep” takes a mindful plunge into layers of rigorously murmuring gestures. as speed and size are streched and bent. the planes engage in parallel movement. artist and producer nhk yx koyxen has been unveiling his unique vocabulary through a continuous stream of sound for many years. performing on electronic music’s timeless dna. he offers those who step in a resonating space. in which loose objects are bound to embrace each other.
2017 saw the first two stunning instalments of lone aka matt cutlers ambivert tools series - breezy atmospheric house. stacked with floor ready trax. inspired by his red hot magic wire imprint. it also saw him present an inspired instalment for the venerable dj kicks series. (mixmag number 2 compilation 2017) now freshening up for 2018. volume 3 finds lone in vintage form - temples reconciles his love of heavy breakbeats with the nagging euphoric melodies. tracer thin synth lines and angular bass for which he is so beloved. hyper seconds once again displays cutlers ability to channel the grooves of classic us house with a banging rhythm track and glistening gated arpeggios contrast perfectly for a rugged peak time bliss out. with this latest instalment of ambivert tools its fair to say that cutler has proved himself one of the most consistent delivers of quality dancefloor tackle that perfectly balances the need for radiant melody harmony with tough grooves and psychedelic experimentation.
MUSICA PARA EL FIN DE LOS CANTOS: REINTERPRETACIONES (POWDER. SUZANNE KRAFT. HATCHBACK & ZAVOLOKA MIXES) (180GR)
12" Vinyl UK09.03.18
cocktail d amore showed the breadth of their tastes when they reissued ukranian composer iury lechs 1990 album musica para el fin de los cantos last year. now the label has commissioned a raft of remixes from some label regulars. with wonderful and diverse results. powder drops her signature snaking rhythmic trysts over barreras. while -cuando rocio dispara sus flechas benefits from an abstract. ambient reworking from suzanne kraft. hatchback takes to posmeridiano with a delicate touch. all lingering 80s synth motifs in a beatless reverie. and zavoloka lays the cinematic intensity on heavy with the icy strains of ukraina.
being a relentless sound explorer. laurent perrier had no other choice to cross paths one day with the world of modular synthesis and to prefer. over the scalpel precision of the laptop that presides over many of his earlier productions under several identities (as heal. but also as zonkt. pylone. cape fear and under his own name). the unpredictability of modular systems. that being said. espace dincertitude. the new heal album isnt improvised at all but was on the contrary mostly composed as soundtracks for choreographic creations. dedicated to two historic visions of the modular synthesis. espace dincertitude offers two different sonic universes across its two sides.
guttural. pained screams from beyond converge with mangled corrosive rhythms on the sophomore ep from dint for horo. ‘hooker’ convenes an impromptu post punk band out of undead skeletal pulses and spits a frustrated barb to anyone in earshot. ’shovel’ slams nails in relentlessly with an excruciating vocal refrain grinding over the band of zombies undulating bass riff. decaying as it loops. ’skewer’ drags the undead to the dance-floor with a primitive rhythm that rises and ducks. wringing out the intensity with macabre vocal commands reaching through a wall of distortion.
5 1 1 5 9 3 is the first full-length album release of vienna based artist electric indigo. who started djing in the late 1980s. worked at the legendary hard wax record store in the early 1990s. and effortlessly manages to entertain the dancing crowd at berghain as much as the contemporary music avant-garde at wien modern. 5 1 1 5 9 3 combines influences of both worlds into a consistent and coherent album. crystalline metallic objects collide. embedded into fractured endless spaces. sparse rhythmical syncopations shaping grids. holding sonic particles in place. rare vocal transformations inject a human touch. 5 1 1 5 9 3 offers a unique universe. full of color and light. partially flirting with current club music and at other times diving deep into sublime sonic areas.
nice price deal !!! real name dan griober. dan habarnam has been active since the 90s. doing production for romanian pop artists while also working on his own projects. his solo catalog is pretty slim. with just a few appearances on drum & bass labels like santorin and subtle audio. but from the known is clearly the work of an experienced artist: though loosely anchored in techno. ambient and bass music. its stylistically open-ended. and produced with an audiophiles attention to detail. according to the label. groibers meticulousness extended to the mastering process as well (the cd. for instance. was recorded direct from the vinyl to achieve that special analog feel)
