amazing full cover version. involve records continues delivering some of the most exciting techno tunes. this time, label boss regal presents his first collaboration with one of belgiums most aclaimed talents, amelie lens. two original tracks and two remixes from the next generation of techno titans. four cuts that shape an ep that is about to became an instant dancefloor killer.
regal strikes back on involve records with a brand new collaboration, this time with acid head milton bradley a.k.a. alien rain. the record is another piece of the puzzle, where the label boss continues his exploration of the techno universe with the help of artists that inspire him. the 24th release of involve records sees regal and bradley go deep delivering hypnotic 303 basslines and hammering percussions that point directly to the dancefloor, with chopped vocals adding tension to each cut. >acid affair< combines the best of both producers giving birth to a renewed take on acid techno. the two-track ep looks back to the origins of the etiquette, without missing the freshness of both artists’ current sonic approach to club-focused music. one not to miss for quirky sound lovers.
a huge classic is back! involve, as its name suggests, try to co-involve people with all the related activities of the label and their artists, creating a bi-directional sense of communication. in between two tendencies, involve collects the classics techno rhythms from detroit and berlin, being true to the origins seasoned with modern touches.
label head amelie lens herself creates a banging techno record. three tracks full of energy acid techno. holding steady after a much busy 2017 season that saw her multiply releases on the likes of pan-pot imprint, second state or arts, belgian techno architect amelie lens is now set to release her debut solo outing on her own label lenske, following an ep from the newcomer milo spykers and a fine collaborative effort with fellow antwerp-based producer farrago, featuring a remix from ostgut ton protégé kobosil.

repress! brazil-born, barcelona-based dj and producer anna has garnered international accolades from mixmag, bbc radio 1 and others with recent releases on the likes of diynamic and turbo recordings. but her skill set reaches far beyond the studio realm as 2017 marked her busiest year to date. beyond a whirlwind of festival appearances (including movement and awakenings), anna had the opportunity to perform at iconic clubs such as dc-10 and fabric.
four years after his excellent eclipse 12-, roberto auser is back on a rotterdam staple: pinkman. color your soul has adopted some, but not all, of its older brother s attributes. lumbering with menacing intent, the title piece leaves wreckage in its bruising wake. -do you want to believe- is cut from the same deviant cloth. grunting rhythms stomp on tortured strings, industrial shrieks cry beneath the boot of a raging beat. the closer, -wake u up-, has auser toying with his victim. steam hisses, acid lines bulge, pistons pound and sirens blare in this boiled work of brooding brutality.
747’s paleo is an essential acid collection of eight diverse tracks, with a vinyl-exclusive d side. aquaregia’s first long playing release weaves through the different faces of acid on a time travelling trip through geological history. the journey begins with warm pads enveloping lush landscapes fringing the shallow, prehistoric seas where swarms of trilobites frenetically scurry, seeking to survive and evolve. roiling subaquatic vulcanism rules the b side, a seeding ground for exotic crystals whose hexagonal points vie for space as the magma cools and the minerals speciate. we’re then taken further into the depths, where planispiral ammonoids swim in the pseudo-antigravity of the saline seas. and finally, closing out the excursion, we’re transported from ages past, through the fleeting present into the future, to a warming ocean with disrupted ecosystems and unpredictable currents, the effect of a morphing climate.
club lonely welcomes this stone cold italian 92 classic from francesco farfa, original copies of which have been fetching some serious amounts on the cogs, into the cl family. complete with a new heavyweight matrixxman mayhem remix.
rival consoles is electro acid-smith ryan lee west from leicester. influenced by impressionists like claude debussy and modern electronic artists such as autechre and squarepusher, he created his unique signature. a playful and brutal mix of idm acid beats and warm, emotive synth string arrangements. in february 2017 he released and toured the more quirky vemeer ep under his second musical alias aparatec, which sold like hot cakes and earned him a lot of fans. the 10 inch vinyl includes a download code.
delft returns for the latest split ep, the label s first since the 004 entry by matrixxman and la-4a. this entry pairs label head la-4a with crew member alden tyrell for a rough and raw acid and electro derby.
for its tenth anniversary, killekill decided it is worth to resurrect the main label and bring it back in full effect with another compilation of tracks by our beloved family members, favorite artists and bestest friends. cat. number 020 was never released, and we thought, this celebratory occasion was perfect to fill that gap, so everything is cleared, and we can step into the next decade. we start off with a track by mmm, the legendary duo consisting of fiedel and errorsmith, known for pushing the boundaries with every of their very rare releases. this one is an extremely simple, but effective weapon to destroy all dancefloors with its slightly loutish appeal. neil landstrumm got together with brian rays and produced a bleeper hit with catchy vocals. we don t know who the lyrics refer to, but they definitely express a punky fuck-off attitude, which we are missing a lot nowadays.
almost one year in the making, bulgaria s outstanding techno talent lands his return to drumcode with a four-track ep. timmo (aka valeri ivanov) doesn t do things in half measures. since the release of his excellent system ep last year and muzik , his inclusion on a-sides vol.6, he s committed himself to crafting, refining and polishing a quartet of cuts inspired by the cosmic realms beyond planet earth. titled meteorite, its release marks 10 years since he first began producing and stakes its claim as a resounding career highlight with tracks already highlighting gigs for adam beyer at tobacco dock, awakenings, future kappa festival and junction 2. beginning with the title track, the streamlined work throbs with a searing synthetic pulse. black moon sees the ep land its first blow, kicking with a mixture of undulating synths and understated hoovers. spacetime stays true to its name delivering intergalactic techno vibes. cosmos concludes the work, taking us into extra-terrestrial dancefloor territory, with a barrage of trippy synth work and a melodic underbelly the makes the track both beautiful and heavy-hitting in equal measure.
lisbon continues to thrive musically and violet is one of the city’s most active artists. paraíso is her natural habitat - she contributed to the first-ever record on the label and has remained in its inner circle.
