korpus 9 records kicks off with a brand new ep from dubspeeka, featuring four tracks of high impact and atmospheric techno. korpus 9 records is a brand new techno label from russia managed by kwazalski. the main aim of the label is to release fresh and innovative material, not only digitally, but also on vinyl. all the imagery and influences of the label come from an abandoned research station that is deep underwater, where unusual events are happening around it on a constant basis. charged with the first release is shadowy bristolian producer dubspeeka, who has put out his music on drumcode, senso sounds and get physical, runs skeleton recordings and has a fierce techno sound. the opener here is garrison, a driving number with heavy drums and a warm but edgy mood. garrison 2 is more spaced out, with celestial pads baring a feeling of suspense above the firmly rooted drums. garrison 3 then has lumpy drums that bob up and down, as acid lines, water sounds and metallic hits all add atmosphere to the cavernous groove. last of all, garrison 4 is an eerie dub techno track with real drive but also plenty of thoughtful emotions. it closes out a brilliant first ep on this exciting new label.
a memorably bracing, momentarily pummeling highlight of ‘song for alpha’, daniel avery perfectly bridges the light and dark contrast of his influences on standout cut, ‘diminuendo’. uncompromising tech-noid drums establish genuine frenzy, matched by a pulsating industrial drone, ultimately collapsing into ethereal feedback, before one final round of frenetic rhythm.
movin and trippin acid-techno-psychodelic groover. de-noize is focused on bringing eclectic sounds from world known djs to new up and coming underground artists, aspiring to contribute original and timeless music to the world.

the free fall, to dive head first into something, is scary for most people. for some it is the most exciting thing however and the only possible path anyways. florian is one of those driven artists who never sounds the same, his signature tone is the free fall into new soundscapes, new ways of using his analog electronic instruments and carving out the essence for the dancing individual.
delft returns for the latest split ep, the label s first since the 004 entry by matrixxman and la-4a. this entry pairs label head la-4a with crew member alden tyrell for a rough and raw acid and electro derby.

midgar welcomes the bordeaux based von grall delivering four dense, immersive cuts. first of the list, *a secant line*, is an acidic and powerful mantra, opening the gates of sonic virtuality. in the second track, *the slope*, fast paced rhythmics and cold ambiances bring some severity to the record. on the bside, the melodic and slightly dreamy excursion *apply the definition*, while *limit value* close the record with a solemn concoction of offbeats drums and mechanic nightbirds.
club lonely welcomes this stone cold italian 92 classic from francesco farfa, original copies of which have been fetching some serious amounts on the cogs, into the cl family. complete with a new heavyweight matrixxman mayhem remix.
hello leif mueller on shtum. pleased to meet you. especially with such a strong debut release. everything is starting with the no-nonsense-techno track teleshop which is designed for big room pleasures. on wo ist meine playstation 4? things get a little more psychedelic without losing the straightness you need to get lost in the dance tunnel. cairo is a lesson in keeping goose bumps alive with its up and down galloping synth stabs. to cool things down, the stuttgart based producer drops nightcleaner, a quietly starting ambient affair that evolves into a little acid monster.
sharif laffrey can charm the snake out of any basket. this is his first offering for the esp institute. side as tangier is a long drawn-out exercise, an endurance test of the highest order. over the span of some thirteen minutes, elements bob and weave intermittently and layers overlap haphazardly the type of exciting dynamic that s born out of restrictio as if putting down a live jam without enough hands to work the console, yet sharif perseveres. as touch and go as this arrangement may be, there is something that undoubtedly glues it all in place the combination of his massive rolling 16th-note bassline and his tough-as-nails drumkit is so good that, upon first listen, we spat out our tea and insisted on its release. on side b, everything is nice carries on with loose arrangement, dirty production and layers of inexplicable spoken word samples (a sharif calling card by now) but this time we re lead to a melancholy place, the blue comedown to side as antagonistic trial. with his esp institute debut, sharif leaves you mentally unhinged, as if youve smoked something interesting and arrived bewildered in some saharan labyrinth. these two songs will guide you through the medina to score the black meat.

voigtmann’s debut album ‘sublunary’ is assembled from a wealth of elements and directions glued together by claus’ own way of sculpting and arranging sounds. in the spirit of a true album he spans an arc of tension from earie ambient via house to techno and breaks under his unique blanket of deepness. ‘the result is what happens when gentle craziness, selfishness, and honesty meet with unrestricted freedom of producing’
