allergic entstand an einem schwülen julinachmittag in einer halb leeren wohnung im 11. arrondissement von paris. da die wohnung gerade umgezogen wurde und nur noch ein leerer raum zum arbeiten übrig war, verwandelten b.mcqueen und priori den kargen raum in ein studio. mitten in der session schickte eine freundin eine sprachnachricht, in der sie beiläufig erwähnte, dass sie „allergisch gegen wespen“ sei. ein moment, der zu gut war, um ihn nicht zu nutzen, und der dem track sowohl seinen titel als auch seine verspielte note verlieh. das ergebnis ist ein treibender track mit subtilen wobbles, die sich durch den gesamten song ziehen.

get weavin“ entstand in der dämmerung nach einer rauen nacht, in der das 25-jährige jubiläum von fabric gefeiert wurde – einem abend, an dem ben klock b2b marcel dettmann indirekt die entstehung des pseudonyms b. mcqueen selbst inspirierte. angetrieben von dieser post-club-dynamik fand der track später durch flötensamples von raphael weikart seinen charakteristischen psychedelischen touch.
