regal lands once again in his very own etiquette with a powerful statement: >still raving<. a taste of his sound in a very particular way, one of his most personal records until date. techno with trance, rave and acid influences that converge in the four tracks that give shape to this ep. a solid proof of music being bigger than words.
*** back in stock *** involve records continues delivering some of the most exciting techno tunes. this time, label boss regal presents his first collaboration with one of belgiums most aclaimed talents, amelie lens. two original tracks and two remixes from the next generation of techno titans. four cuts that shape an ep that is about to became an instant dancefloor killer.
trave is a play on words that mixes the concepts >trance< and >rave< to create a new term which essence is the union of filosofies of the words that create the term. trance and rave go by unwritren precepts that prevail in interpersonal relations and in the own purpose of the actions taken place by its flags: peace, respect, freedom and unity. this is exactly what regal tries to expose with his music.

having earned himself the status as one of madrids hottest techno-exports, regal is back on figure with a special ep comprising both new works from him plus two creative re-interpretations by none other than radio slave. original and remix rub shoulders on the records a-side, both revolving around its enticing vocal hook. while regal employs a skipping beat and skittish percussion to conjure up an air of mystery, radioslave crawls down further the rabbits hole and uncovers the tracks slumbering lunatic qualities. on the flipside regal is back in full control, albeit this time operating in a framework a tad more housy than usual: snappy snares slice up the bubbling acid-line on the fast whirling while its eponymus vocal sample ironically asks did you see it?. equally aptly-titled slab barges right in, wielding hefty drums and a bassline that oozes groove out of every loop. as part of the digital release, the ep comes with another atmospheric radioslave-rework of from other sounds, leaning on the ambient and heavy on the subs
two of figures core artists combine their production forces on this release, presenting a fully fledged ep of their joint studio efforts. spanish azid-wizard regal teams up with len faki himself for some tracks that are as lively and versatile as they are effective and cut for the club.
rekids welcomes madrid-based producer regal to the label for the first time, with the long-awaited release of the figure/enemy records affiliates interpretations of ghetto kraviz. with the original named by fact magazine as one of the top 100 tracks of the decade so far, regals 303 and dub remixes have meanwhile been a recurring feature in the sets of djs including nina kraviz, who fell in love with them immediately upon being sent them last year, leading to their eventual release on matt edwards s recently re-launched imprint. the a-side sees the involve records boss turn in an jacking, acidic take, while on the flip, the dub version heads in a more classic techno direction, replete with pounding kicks and cathedral-filling reverb. these are two killer remixes have been going down a storm !

after the success of the first ep, comes the remix ep signed by three great artists of the techno scene. thrive is remixed by two veterans: mark broom and pacou. mark makes a very attractive and more techno version of the original track. pacou shows a version completely different amazing breakbeat! pulzar is remixed by jeroen search, who is never wrong at the time! powerful second vinyl for this label.

been impressed by his remix on wall of sound... i loved it. i also heard he won some remix competition. like a grammy, only not a grammy. the tracks he sent were amazing... but his hair, while being orange (no bonus) was not corn-rowed. while i argued vigorously that i had worked too long and hard building up turbo to see it go all >ginger<... von party defended the duke, saying it might show how open-minded we are. when i re-listened to the tracks i decided that it was well worth the risk. so.... what you now hold in your hand is the debut on turbo of duke dumont: the mysterious bad ass from the wrong-side of the tube, the hardboiled london underground pioneer who once had to eat a sampler to survive, the future of dance music, and the past of the future of dance music

in 2010 desolat continues its one year old x series with m.in: >sing and blow at the same time<. m.in is an young artist from frankfurt area developing his individual music taste by being open-minded towards other genres. his interpretation of house / tech-house is spiced up with jazz, soul and afrobeat elements in order to present a varied and sophisticated blend to his audience and led to numerous well received solo releases and remixes for radio slave and italoboyz amongst others. m.ins house and his versatile beat programming caught our attention a long time ago - and the title track here simply seemed to be tailor-made for loco dice and his sets. >sing and blow at the same time< was probably one of the best kept secrets since last summer and now its time to reveal it. this new desolat x will be the first in the series to be available as a digital file as well. its coloured vinyl, with artwork by florian pohl and mastering by enrico mercaldi, will remain a collectors item - great sounding and good looking.
