feedbacks and supports by luciano, exercise one, dj t, mark knight, show b, roberto rodriguez, alex maier...sister label of mood music, from sasse & sandrino!
... and the beat goes on. after the first two deep cuts on wrm we offer you this little peaktime gem. frankey from d-nox & beckers fame got together with sandrino to build this dancefloor house cut. for remixes we are really happy and proud to have the one and only phonique.
he turns the original into a bigger festivalsummerdancefloorrave anthem without loosing the original feeling. the second remix by daniel rajkovic goes more into depth with a monster hypnotic bassline. and as we already said, words are all in vain, so have a listen and satisfy yourself … cheers from the rabbit hole ,)
following the jordan peak ep there is more pumping action on morris audio with its 80th release! young french producer julien sandre makes his full release debut on morris audio – great beats and sexy basslines are the key elements of the hypnotic js sound. and the remix of nico lahs (ovum, pokerflat) reminds us of some of these old killer svek releases. yeah, music wont stop!
after a much acclaimed remix and compilation track, it is time for morris audio to release the first full 12 inch of up and coming julien sandre.
mercury are on fire. already they are called the new swiss house mafia, with their brothers from round table knights (on made to play) they are working on a new, funky, heavy energetic kind of house music. here is mercurys third single on gomma. three deep jams. deeper then the last single. paris house 1998, and gospel percussion from the 20th century, if you know what we mean
next up on good ratio music is baldo, an artist who spent the past few months working in the back of this label getting prepared to release the third chapter in his own imprint. spies & lies is the name of his work which follows some brilliant remixes and tracks he did lately in labels like stranjjur and elevation recordings. as the story goes on after the great result of the tom ellis release, we wanted to give a different dimension to the label to bring it back into a more classical sound.
full pupp helps another new outfit into the saddle. even though esteemed norwegian dj ole martin vilberg aka omar v and robin craaford, one half of dance disorder with baby g (bpitch, eskimo) are hardly young guns, they gang up together for the first time on complete: a blinding cut that harks back to the time with good ol jack was still the young buck and closely associated with uncle electro funk: tough beats, hyperactive claps, a jittering bass and a catchy, squeaking melody are still rattling bones if masterfully pieced together as it is done here. the guy most closely related to the italo sound out of the whole norwegian disco bunch chucks the more intricate original rhythm but goes hypertechnicolor and widescreen on the synth parts boosting up the originals melody, throwing in a nod to happy station and a hi-energy bassline.
formed somewhere in the 5th dimension, acid mondays is the cosmic coalition of fellow psychonauts negghead and lex wolf. brought together by their love for fat beats, inter dimensional travel & cups of tea, they are on a never-ending journey exploring inner and outer space. expect altered states of hallucinogenic house and reality bending techno. it would be a cliché to say they have a great future, but they’ve been there and beyond and have returned to the now to do it all again…
marius bubat and georg conrad aka coma combine pop and house, techno and indie rock with an eclectic approach, creating highly recognizable music with an emotional impact. even though emerging just a short time ago, coma have already seen their share of travelling, with a recent appearance at sxsw 2012 and even a journey to vietnam. it was there the boys teamed up with norwegian dj charlotte bendiks, as they fought their way through the chaos of hanois traffic.
perlon artist dandy jack slips the hounds with his brilliant >hamlet machine< a devastating powerful tune showing his ability of mixing styles between old school techno and avant-garde electronic music. he clearly demonstrates to us his unique approach of choosing the right sounds and the right groove at the right moment. he always opens new paths to the music ...
label chief master-h stepping up and not for the first time, raising an already high bar, once again skyward. >stabs call< sees h team up with the wonderfully talented saxophonist, geoffrey secco. not only does geoffrey play regularly with the legendary tito puente, but he has now joined h is their own band ... more on that, very soon
support from deetron, len faki, laurent garnier, slam, steve rachmad, nuno do santos, soul clap, samuel l session, rainer truby, sis, norman nodge…, ...
alden tyrell hooked up with mike dunn for some new work!. a golden combination which already worked out great as we learned from the heavy remix tyrell did for the murphy jax & mike dunn collaboration (its the music - cat# cjfd06). tyrell always jamming and playing around with his synths had some tracks inspired by early mike dunn songs. so the obvious happened ... the hooked up for some appropiate vocals and here it is ... touch the sky! a peak time acid monster with mikes vocal chant in the style of his classic md3 projects. gerd is on remix duty here and delivers a killer remix with a more traditional chicago groove and build up. clone head honcho serge had some studio time with tyrell for a dub mix. the serge & tyrell dub mix turned out a bit wild and became a classic piece of piano and dx bass driven chicago house music with stuttering vocal samples and a acidic synth line. another strong clone jack for daze!
supported by: lauhaus, boris werner, nick curly, federico molinari, kabale und liebe, nekes, johnny d, sascha dive, markus fix, dj wild, chriss carrier, ilario alicante, loco dice, mathias mayer, brothers vibe, karotte, tanzmann, matthias kaden, raresh, robert dietz, reboot, ray okpara
killekill herewith announces the start of a sub label focussing the housier side of what we like. killekill house trax starts with the release of a great track by alex cortex. quite uptempo but groovy as hell oh yeah comes along with a strong reminiscence to classic chicago house with its strong bassline and the catchy vocal sample. tyree cooper added a simple but well working piano and packed the original into an even more classic outfit. oh yeah!

bokhari records is a vinyl only label. bokhari has been inspired by mo wax of old, and firecracker of present where care was/is also taken on packaging and design. each release will feature a different illustrator / artist for the design. musically we will aim to stick loosely within the realms of house and techno, but often with our own slant on it, and as the first release shows, in this case will include some afro percussion and a touch of acid. bokhari 001 only 300 copies will be pressed. artwork for release 001 is by the excellent illustrator andy potts (former head of design at abbey road studios), and every single vinyl will be signed and numbered. remix comes from the ever consistent mark e, who has taken the shrunken head bassline and made a 10 minute druggy, chuggy, loopy, creepy monster (and anything else you want with a ‘y’ at the end!)
bodi bill - what remixes (apparat & thomalla) in 2011, there was no way to get around bodi bill - and it will continue in 2012. right on time for summer, the band releases two exciting remixes of their hit-single what on their own label krakatau. luminary apparat and young talent thomalla have chosen the smoothest and breeziest track of the album to rework it with verve and experimentiveness. the tracks differ considerably, and yet there are parallels between both artists: they share a vision, an affinity for progressiveness and audible enthusiasm in each track. apparat - who released his very successful album the devils walk in 2011 - breathes autumnal coolness and depth into this summery number.the result is thrilling, unexpected and spine-tingling. thomalla also rejects construction kit primetime-techno and shows his remarkable talent in two very unlike versions of what. with his overwhelming desire to experiment and discover, he created tracks to dance to, that move beyond the typical minimum radius. this record gathers pop and electronic avant-garde: the record-label and artists wanted to fathom the boundaries of rhythmics and harmony - and they clearly succeeded. here, two exceptional musicians show their vision of electronic dance music, enthralling, fascinating and exciting!
ltd 2012 repress !! after two and a half years of waiting, marc romboy and stephan bodzin finally return with their ninth single collaboration, >triton<!!! yet another wonderfully unique piece of music, >triton< is the lead single from their debut album >luna< which is set for release on triple cd and six vinyl record set in february 2011.

THE BEAT JUST GOES STRAIGHT ON AND ON (TOBI NEUMANN & MATTHEW STYLES REMIX)
12 Inch 31.05.12
2012 - we are milleniumized neo, more than ever before. 1993, when techno was all over the place, german experts tommi eckart (at that time not 2raumwohnung yet) and ralf hertwig (at that time not palais schaumburg anymore) released a track, which found its way out there as a legendary underground-club classic in germany, england, benelux and france: the beat just goes straight on and on. its been sold out for years, but djs still play it in the clubs and it never lost its beat. now in 2012, almost 20 years later, the vinyl reissue being released, including the original cut and a remix by matthew styles & tobi neumann. it just goes on and on, enjoy!
mit vocoder-stimme in >reborn< bringt den track irgendwo zwischen nu disco und deep house, der acid mix verwandelt den track in ein dunkles, hämmerndes acid house monster. guter einstand für enawadan

nastic aka marco nastic has been around the scene for over a decade and for this soweso release this internationally acclaimed dj teams up with dutch underground newcomer rik woldring. on the a side they bring you our love, a driving melodic techhouse track with a warm, sexy and dreamy vibe to it. a2, just us takes it a little deeper. this detroit influenced track is a perfect track for late in the morning. flowy, deep, but with a solid low end are the key words to describe this gem. on the flipside this package also features two remixes by mike shannon and upcoming dutch artist prunk. hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
makam – what ya doing: the hague based producer makam definitely didnt see jack play, simply because hes waaaay to young to be bragging about the history of house music. nevertheless mister guy blanken delivers a stunning anthem in the best of warehouse and music box traditions. keep those 909 rim shots coming please, but make way for the irresistible breakdown. makam – what ya doing (funkineven) more 909 sweetness comes from london based steven julien aka eglo-related vintage fetishist funkineven. while treating the original with respect, he adds some analogue acid dirt to it. in an everything but subtle way, that is. peak time stuff!

PLACEMENT REMIXES EP (LONE REMIX, MOTOR CITY DRUM ENSEMBLE RMX)
12 Inch 14.05.12
hot on the heels of midlands placement ep, aus returns with a remix 12inch featuring lone & motor city drum ensemble. both producers deliver deep, melodic reinterpretations of the originals, with lone accentuating midlands signature sound (whilst flawlessly incorporating his own neon tinged atmospherics) and mcde dubbing out the original, pushing it into throbbing raw cuts territory. both producers are at the top of their game. lone is dominating 2012 with a residency at manchester hot-spot hoya:hoya, a full length dropping in may via r&s that will surely occupy the top of many year end lists, and remixes for radiohead, tensnake & underworld already under his belt. jazz enthusiast motor city drum ensembles sample-based raw cuts series made him a household name within the deep house scene and last years dj-kicks mix set him apart from the pack with its on point mixing and musical diversity. his notable november 2011 boiler room set is considered one of the finest, and is just another example of why mcde has been, and will remain to be, a musical force to be reckoned with. next up on aus will be an ep from bicep & friends with a remix from panoramabar resident steffi.
