standard fair was born in 1980 in sapporo, japan, and played the bass in a punk band until he was 20. he is very influenced by various genres of music but now he produces sophisticated deep house. after some excellent releases on resopal and little helpers he returns on joyfull with some great dance tracks.

i was finishing up a long extended set in paris when the cleckcleckboom crew practically ran into the club to get on the decks. i had hung out with them before but tonight they had all new tracks and an incredible energy. so i stayed past the last ravers just to hear what they would play and that was when i heard �hugz� by french fries and bamabounou. this was a new sound, some nasty nasty shit sitting somewhere between juke and bass music and and i knew we had to get this sound on dirtybird no matter what. needles to say �yo vogue� is hot property and i�m really excited to release it on dirtybird. the half time drop, the chopped and screwed vocal, the stuttering bass kicks, the creepy moog on top - it�s simple and complex at the same time and it wrecks shop whenever it gets played. i did a remix on the b side giving it some db flavor and dirtybird newcomer leroy peppers lays out his own bay area skeeze with hot sauce on top. watch yer bass bins! best, vonstroke.

( acid music band ) decided to follow the way to acid music, inspired by the acid guru as virgo or tyree cooper and the first techno workers as underground resistance or juan atkins he produced two tracks only with analog instruments and acid attitude. acid music band sounds like an orchestra, the man is the music director and the machines are the players. we are young so we asked help from an old expert� directly from the chi-city, ricardo miranda contributed to create an overall ep with his fantastic boogie remix. old and young records.. we love acid too.
