next pattern by the analog roland orchestra. a homage to his heroes and the feeling they left since 1995. this analog one take live jam consists of a rough sh-101 bassline accompanied by it’s beloved fellows 808 & 909 and juno-6. live, analog, raw and this time distorted to punk the floor.
jakarta based jonathan kusuma delivers a new ep on cocktail d amore music. after his european debut on cosmo vitellis i m a cliche, followed by a successful ep on berlins imprint love on the rocks, the indonesian artist keeps carrying the vessel of the far east sound.
echonomist is back on rotary cocktail records this time with vocal support of the amazing black soda from south africa. petros delivers two original mixes which sound like classic inspired detroit tracks with deep basslines, melancholy synths, groovy chords and driving analogue drum machines to provide the perfect soundbed for black sodas distinctive hypnotic vocals. additionally youandme and and.id deliver just the kind of emotional interpretations that touch our souls in the right moments with their beautiful remixes.
a new pattern by the analog roland orchestra. this one is dedicated to chicago! 707 as the master triggering the 101 and juno 6 with some alpha juno 1 chords… thats it. no midi, no editing, no software just the pure pleasure of a one-take-analog-jam
the analog roland orchestra will start a new series with patterns 1/2. he is using only cv gate, trigger signals, intern sequencers and arpeggiators, chord memory and transpose buttons. you will find each pattern on the label of the vinyl. graphic by tabita hub, mixed by redshape, mastered by calyx.
