Bokhari Records is a vinyl only label. Bokhari has been inspired by Mo Wax of old, and Firecracker of present where care was/is also taken on packaging and design. Each release will feature a different illustrator / artist for the design. Musically we will aim to stick loosely within the realms of house and techno, but often with our own slant on it, and as the first release shows, in this case will include some afro percussion and a touch of acid. Bokhari 001 Only 300 copies will be pressed. Artwork for release 001 is by the excellent illustrator Andy Potts (former head of design at Abbey Road Studios), and every single vinyl will be signed and numbered. Remix comes from the ever consistent Mark E, who has taken the Shrunken Head bassline and made a 10 minute druggy, chuggy, loopy, creepy monster (and anything else you want with a ‘y’ at the end!)
