two new winners from frankey & sandrino... you can hear the logical progression in their oeuvre and releasing them on their very own label marks another new step for sum over histories too.

oxias classic domino gets reworked for its ten year anniversary - in 2 vinyl parts. a decade after initially seeing the light, oxias now classic domino gets reworked to celebrate its anniversary. the new release features a new cut by oxia himself as well as several remixes by none other than frankey & sandrino, robag wruhme and matador. the ep will be released through agoria’s newly found record label sapiens on february 24th. ten years ago the track made waves in the international dance music circuit, striking up chords with techno, trance and house djs alike to quickly become an all-time classic. having never expected the track to reach the status that it his, its a very dear project to oxia and he needed quite some persuading to give in and let agoria and his team create something that was worthy of the original. the set of tracks are the first officially commissioned remixes by oxia ever. finding remixers took some time, the amazing frankey & sandrino whos track acamar is my absolute favourite of 2015, matador that just launched his rukus label as well is the multi-talented ex label mate at kompakt robag wruhme. they are all incredibly gifted and fortunately patient enough to wait for this ep

die zweite ep von pacifica aus zürich besteht aus ihrem neuen song „memory man“, eine psychedelischer reise zwischen folk und future house. dazu kommen zwei bewegende remixe: kalabrese liefert eine entspannten, aber unwiderstehlichen version ab, die crowd wird direkt gebannt und beginnt zu tanzen! gleiches gilt für den remix von frankey & sandrino, welcher auch perfekt zur peak-time einer nacht funktioniert, das resultat ist pure euphorie auf dem tanzboden.

the enigmatic hyenah steps into the spotlight once again for its third freerange release, following hot on the heels of their objektivity debut which is still causing major waves worldwide. with a distinctive sound which melds afro-influenced rhythms with european deep and minimal house sensibilities, hyenah has won many fans from across the dance spectrum and can be tracked down to a certain well known club in berlin which hosts its regular party known as rise. the idea unleashes a powerful blast of percussion-heavy beats which form the perfect foundation for sas lazarusman to lay down his distinctive spoken-word vocal. the track builds steadily, the intensity increasing throughout as extra stabs and layers of strings soar above the pulsing synths and throbbing sub bass.

nach einer brillanten ep auf innervisions liefern frankey & sandrino nun ihr debüt auf dpc ab und dies ist definitiv eine zeitlose ep! * starchild* befördert die hörerschaft in die tiefsten sphären von house - treibend, modern und wunderschön zugleich. * lost* auf der b-seite ist ein epischer tune, der die glänzenden vocals vom in uk ansässigen sänger jinadu featured. der track wurde schon von djs wie Âme gespielt, und es sind bereits feine remixe in arbeit.

diese beiden jungs aus berlin liefern einen fetten tune nach dem anderen, ihr letzter hit * acamar* auf innervisions war vermutlich einer der meist gespielten tracks dieses jahres. nun sind sie zurück auf drumpoet mit * ways of the sun*, einer deepen, emotionalen nummer, welche die wunderschäne stimme der schwedischen sängerin ia Öberg. auf der b-seite findet sich der trippy und intergalaktische track * fornax*.

this release is the remix package of their debut on drumpoet including a stunning version of lost by zürich based washerman, a detroit tingled masterpiece which is hard to resist, as well as the futuristic jacking remix for starchild by berlin s musk and the hypnotic african inspired version by hyenah, which was highlighted by dixon during the last couple of months.
