clouds is a finnish electronic music production team that consists of tommi liikka and samuli tanner. tommi is a helsinki native and samuli comes from a small village deep in rural finland. the combination of their musical influences is evident in clouds - both members share an interest in the diy aesthetic often connecting all kinds of music made with passion, not brains

rinder & lewis: anger - considered one of the most abstract production teams of the disco era, this cut was taken from their >seven deadly sins< album (very rare!). never released on 12inch inch, this cut was a music box fave! not much to edit, just give it a dj friendlier drum intro. a great cut for a disco or a deep house set!mighty clouds of joy: time - one of my favorite edits! taken from their >its time< album. even thought this song was produced by dave crawford, the philly sound played a big part in it (thanks to norman harris on guitar & earl young on drums). the song was originally recorded in 2 parts, so i combined them with a little bit of dub. yes, you can give praise and boogie at the same time!
