matrixxman has been a dekmantel regular for a couple of years now. the san francisco producer continues to impress with a new triptych for dekmantel records. over the course of three eps (rhythm, acid, polyphony), charles mccloud duff displays his versatile and original take on house and techno. the concept of the triptych is to explore the range within the confines of a particular limitation. this second ep sector ii: acid- shows an exercise in acid. similarly, the tb-303 may conjure certain knee-jerk reactions at a glance, but acid has the potential to cover a broader palette of emotion than one might initially expect. sector ii holds three squirming 303 sequences and the classic rhythmic drum programming of arrival, bad acid and i am matrix. rites on the other hand is more subtle and fluent, swinging with hazy acid flourishes and dynamic syncopation.

after few releases featuring sübaka with remixes by steve bicknel (uk) and sean deason (usa), module records maked a ten years break. so we are very proud to introduce klash point guys who produced this persistence ep for this labels comeback.they are two french producers who combine fiery energy and the wisdom of experience. like a family affair! all in all, name check these lads out for more future aural excursions. on this 12inch, this is minimal electronic techno at its best, deep and dubby with a solid straight groove. then, we are sure that new ep will not disappointed you, without a doubt!

raw minimal techno specialist mono junk is back with a selection of new material on his own dum records. having pioneered key techno sounds as far back as 1990, more than 20 years later the influential finnish artist is still on top of his game. up first is halo, nine minutes of edgy techno with a nervy lead synth snaking around in paranoid fashion. rolling drums set a direct groove in motion below and the whole thing will be brilliantly hypnotic on the dance floor. halo 2 is a hallucinogenic bit of ambient with celestial drones and icy synth prickles making for a tense interlude, then musta peili is all fucked up and scuzzy, study and disrupted. sounding like a slowed-down techno track heard though a freezing snow blizzard, it is masterfully textured. farewell closes out the ep with an intergalactic bit of glassy melodic techno that will have you up on your toes.

cybordelics was founded in 1993 in stuttgart, germany. in the same year, mike s., milan zemanec and daniel varga aka cybordelics released their hit adventures of dama on sven väth’s label harthouse. the record climbed up the uk dance charts to the 2nd place. people from london to germany, especially in the legendary omen club in frankfurt, danced to their techno anthems until the late afternoon. today’s artists like ricardo villalobos, sven väth, gregor tresher, chris liebing, gerd janson or anthony rother were at the omen club when this record was played for the first time, and they still consider adventures of dama a milestone in techno history. 23 years later, the new harthouse label begins 2016 with a remix ep, featuring remixes by ricardo villalobos, butch, tuff city kids, starting a new era of the harthouse story.

florian meindl kick starts 2017 with a special four-track vinyl only release ‘colorful cage’. released on his own imprint flash recordings, the title track is taken from his forthcoming album ‘time illusion’. there is an exclusive vinyl edit of florian’s previously released foreboding techno track ‘nix charon’ and completing the ep are two further unique tracks ‘controlled pressure’ and ‘wild sequence 3’. as a dj, live performer, studio producer and sound designer, florian has over the years established an impressive producing base for himself in his berlin based riverside studio complex with an exciting hardware set up including modular systems, an analog mixing desk as well as classic machines like roland 909. in anticipation for the lp release in early april, florian has prepared a unique live set featuring a modular system, the korg minilogue, effect boxes and a 909 drum machine which were used in the creation of the album which he will be touring throughout 2017.

they are dangerous is the second song released by senator gary. the riddim was build by the late great keyboard player winston wright (1944-1993) and the vocal was recorded at creative sound studio. the tune was produced by neville reid who died a few years ago. senator gary is also called imara, abbasani and now he is voicing under the name of i-maa-raa. so the quest to find him was not so easy, thanks to marshall neeko for the help.
