daniel meuzard aka feater originally hails from a small mountain village in the western austrian alps. the music producer with north african roots calls vienna his home for quite some time now. for more than ten years he has been involved in electronic music and working with analog synthesizers and classic tape recording. as an owner of a studio equipment shop he was able to get his hands on a wide variety of equipment. experimenting with different instruments and recording techniques helped him to develop his own musical ideas. in 2013 he released the 7inch vinyl single digital love on paradeis garage. in february 2015 he recorded his debut album waste the time on a 8track tape recorder and finalized it together with the producer and recording engineer sam irl in the summer of 2015. as a member of the finishgermanaustrian group skymax (along with stilettiana & sam irl) he released the vinyl ep trucker trans on his own label called international major label

for over five years, all day i dream has been where deep and emotive meet house music. propelled by a community of forward thinking artists drawn around the scion of master curator and sunset/sunrise set specialist, lee burridge. all day i dream formally welcomes lost desert to the label with the release of lingala, a two-track collaborative effort with burridge himself, that also features junior on vocals. lost desert was picked out of obscurity after burridge discovered his music while trekking in a remote area of a long lost land. a fast forged friendship inevitably lead to the studio, and lingala�s the enrapturing sophomore result. the duo�s first project together debuted on lee�s night time imprint, get weird, earlier this year to widespread support. lingala, is a beautifully composed ten-minute sonic journey. built around a mystical lead vocal sung by newcomer junior in his native linagles the raw emotion slowly builds in intensity over propulsive basslines and deep melodic grooves . gorje hewek & izhevski�s interpretation of lingala is a markedly different affair. focussing on musical layers rather than the vocal the duo�s signature spacey atmospheres and minimal rhythmic percussion add extra strings creating uplifting moments that contrast the original�s mood.

few can fail to have noticed the re-emergence of italian deep house in recent times. tracks paying tribute to the dreamy, loved-up and new age-influenced style pioneered by italian producers in the late 80s and early 90s are ten-a-penny these days, though few are quite as breezy and evocative as this ep from minimono. the fact that it s appearing on re-born rome label vibraphone - dormant since 1993, but brought back to life late last year - is rather fitting. the duo s dreamy, melodious and tactile style - see the fluttering synthesized flute lines and tactile grooves of -sailing-, the horizontal house bliss of -suspend-, and the ron trent style slickness of -next step- - is perfectly in keeping with the label s wavy, sun-kissed ethos.

(detector for advanced neutron capture experiments), the various artists series of attic music, presents only italian artists. on a side unc shows us his vision of techno with an obsessive sound track. distorted drums and dark pads for the second track by assalti industriali (luciano lamanna and cosimo damiano). on b side pvs writes a real journey with a ten minutes track where 4/4 and broken beat meet pads and melody.

marathons began innocently, as a quick debut ep by an energetic swedish duo we found on soundcloud. within a couple months of chatting with the pair, artur bra&#776,,ndstrom and egil kahlbom, however, we realized our collaboration wasn t going to be simple, so cut and dry, so straightforward, and that s why we find ourselves here, a year after meeting them with a full album, not an in-and-out single, on our hands. what made it complex and intricate, you ask? why d we opt to squeeze eight originals into one long-player, you wonder? well, artur and egil are prolific dudes with fantastic ears and formidable work ethics. a couple of demos quickly sprouted offspring and became four, then six, then ten. rather than fight the arbitrary desire to trim the spread down to a 12inch, we figured we d aim higher and work on a proper album. what we constructed is, in a very classic sense, a long-player. here s that album! it s a sunny, loose, limber, uninhibited boogie through warm disco cuts and wobbly house jams and soulful funk slices. daytime chill-out with a nightclub architecture�or peak hour mayhem with a bright, clearheaded euphoria. marathons swings every which way and suits any mood, so drop that needle and try it on. then repeat, repeat, repeat.

minimood continues with a deep piece of heady minimal from esteem german producer sascha dive with a mesmerizing remix by celebrated dutch producer ion ludwig. the after the storm ep is released on vinyl only. after the storm is ten sumptuous minutes of moody and atmospheric deep minimal house with warbling synths, meandering drums and spooky, spaced out atmospheres. the drums roll on free from any friction and the pads are delicate, elegant affairs that circle round you and leave you hanging in a wide open space. vocals sounds like those from a spaceship s pa and lend the whole thing a sense that you are voyaging through the galaxies. it is a truly burrowing track that gets right into your mind, body and soul. ion ludwig s remix is quicker and more synthetic, with waify pads, gently breaking waves and fizzing little modular synth lines that are crisp and rhythmic and will fit perfectly into a set by the likes of ricardo villalobos. this is classy and subtle music that is stripped back and slow burning yet has a huge impact.
