teal presents south london ordnance as the artist for the sixth release. since his emergence in early 2012 south london ordnance has recieved much hype, and rightfully so. two of his deeper sonic excursions >witch hunt< and >chase scene< span the two sides of this, his probably most exciting ep to date.

here we go with the first album of the label, on double vinyl. the album has been written and produced by yan cook, from kiev, and is supported by two big remixes from the duo endless, composed by perc and giorgio gigli, and by the well known artist drumcell from droid behavior.

dope me / does caroline know? is a slightly clubbier affair-less sun ra and more soul capsule-but still possesses the air of strangeness that makes the duo so unique. each artist leaves his mark within the first few measure of dope me. the steady high-hats and flawless kick drum are straight out of dazes playbook, while the nervous piano and 3 chairs-style claps are unmistakably bruno. as for the slurred vocal pleading >dope me..dope me<, thats anyones guess. the track carries on for a solid nine minutes as half-melodies and quasi-hooks slide in and out of the mix. the b-side, does caroline know?, takes us deeper and darker. the drums are plodding, the mood is ominous, and a series of dreamlike flourishes add to an already eerie groove. like the a-side, its a surrealistic style of house that only these two could deliver. the artwork, as usual, is done by daze maxim.

ununhexium (r-n 116) is the sixth release of raster-noton unun series. emptyset is a bristol based project formed in 2005 by james ginzburg, di- rector of the multiverse studios and the curator and electronic artist paul pur- gas. the project explores the legacy of analogue media, integrating aspects of rhythm, signal processing and spatial recording within the framework of mini- malist composition. their work interrogates the perceptual boundaries between noise and music and the potential for both technology and architecture to em- bed and codify themselves within sound. collapsed is emptysets first release on raster-noton and investigates the threshold where sonic structure is destabilized to the point where a chaotic order emerges out of a resistance to fragmentation and likewise explores the potential contained within this liminal space of transition. across the four tracks of the release a structural grammar is defined and then pushed to excess to the point where it reforms from repetitive and stable frameworks into non-grid based forms and ultimately chaotic rule sets.
