vinyl version 2x12 inch lp (special edition) after having been released in cd and single ep format on prologue music (october 2012), outis music is proud to announce a new special edition of shamans paths - the complete album in a double-vinyl compilation (2x12 inch lp) coming out as a part of outis opera series.
itís a match made in heaven, techno veteran dino sabatini meets up and coming talent luigi tozzi, who over the last couple of years has delivered stellar eps for the likes of hypnus records, dynamic reflection, mental modern, and sabatiniís own outis music. anyone familiar with the two will know they share an aptitude for adventurous and evolving techno. this is crystallised in this collaboration, which doesnít take the easy path of creating straightforward club tracks. instead, the three tracks on this release explore the subtler sides of the two producers. thatís not to say this isnít club music - it is - but they have a lot more to offer than pure functionality. the ep opens with manticora. this eight-minute experience takes the listener through winding claustrophobia as ringing feedback pulses across the stereo field and cavernous rhythms dance about, hard to quite grab. these rhythms build to a point to which they solidify and fall into place, a point at which the track gains a feeling of propulsion, alongside shifting and emotive reverberations and resonances. next up is celeno, a track that slowly unravels under a backing of shuffling hats and a rolling kick drum. twinkling synths swirl around before giving way to a rhythmic and compelling melody. celenoís musical themes continue into the third and final track, aello, which eases you in with softer drums while a haunting drone builds up. over this, ghostly arpeggios develop alongside weightier drums that carry the track through until the end, leaving just enough time for the drone to ring out and provide a fitting end to the ep.
after inaugurating the Ďoperaí sub-series of his outis music label with the sublime omonimo double lp this april, dino sabatini has invited some choice allies to help define the vocabulary and expand the vision of the new imprint. the aforementioned album, which wove together sabatiniís atmospheric conjuring skill with the piano flourishes of antonello salis, already exhibits the labels commitment to dismantling the either-or logic of contemporary genres by successfully merging a variety of supposedly irreconcilable styles, talents, and worldviews (e.g. both mythological and the technological perspectives). the follow-up ep, concentrica, draws on the material from omonimo and delivers it into the hands of additional remixers in order to continue the outis opera voyage.
dreiklang records set sail in february 2016 with the excellent first contact ep which featured och, hydergine and kelovolt, three singular artists each handing in their own contrasting take on the same source material. the berlin-based vinyl-only label now returns with the same concept for the loop continue ep.
as both a producer and the helmsman of the outis music label, dino sabatini has carved out a distinctive musical style that shows a great reverence for both ancient archetypes and future possibilities for change (see, for example, his mnemosyne co-release with edit select, in which each track is dedicated to a separate greek goddess).
luigi tozzi is a young roman artist just twenty-three years old but with a profound musical knowledge. his productions reflect the distinct musical style coming from the italian capital, a style purveyed by artists now considered icons within the international techno scene. its the direct link to this sound that aligns luigis music perfectly with the musical realm of outis music.
after the latest podcast of its series, for the next release outis music has chosen sardinian artists claudio prc and ness. both known previously for their solo projects, their collaborations, and also together as the gods planet they journey deep into remote sides of techno music. the affinity between concepts of their tgp project and dino sabatinis philosophy leads them to make their contribution to the label. icore is an obsessive and straight 4/4 track, where a hypnotic and synthetic arp floats into visceral and noisy atmospheres. beside the original, italian artist nuel give his dry and wild version, as well label boss dino sabatini complete the ep with a very deep and transcendental remix.
edit select and dino sabatini join forces together for her debut on motoguzzi records. the liaison of these two maestros leads us to a hypnotic and trippy journey through their musical minds. edit select comes with a serious driving floor piece and dino sabatini shows us his musical understanding with a deep floating shamanic approach. selected dj support: supported by: marcel dettmann, len faki, oscar mulero, dubfire, luke slater, cosmin trg, tommy four seven, Âme, james ruskin, ben sims, josh wink, sigha, simian mobile disco, lucy, angel molina, joris voorn, blawan, pangaea, speedy j...
mnenosyne was the personification of memory, daughter of gaia and uranus, wife of zeus and the mother of the muses, goddesses of the arts. also this time an excellent collaboration with an artist for whom i have great esteem tony scott aka edit select. because of the magic of art that unites the whole world, i have had the pleasure of getting to know him personally during an amazing gig in paris in which we began to design a collaboration on some tracks. after our first collaboration survivors of the pulse released on edit selects prologue music lp phlox we decided to continue with another ep of three sick tracks that i have given the names of three muses according to my personal imagination.terpsichore - to the he goddess of dance id offer this track with its controversial rhythm and detailed sensual overtones.euterpe - goddess of music and in our case seen in terms of techno music, a mix of pure energy and imagination and this track i believe has these two features. deep, straight and hypnotic. urania - this track i would like to dedicate to the goddess of astronomy
it has always been one of my dreams reunite the old group of friends i met in the basement of rome and with whom i have begun the journey towards this adventure. today i am very happy to present this work made in collaboration with one of my closest friends and with whom i shared for long time studios, music, ideas, techniques and the mutual love for a good italian cuisine. i sincerely believe that donato dozzy does not need any introduction.
dino sabatini is not just a prologue artist having the first 12inch release in our catalogue, he is also one of the most authentic prologue artists who is responsible for providing the well known prologue sound aesthetic.
proteus: a solid, dynamic and linear track, with strong harmonic resonances and a slowly growing rhythmic in a hypnotic groove of atmospheres. definitely a dancefloor one!
nereus: this track has deeper mental space sensations in which hypnotic noise sequences travel smoothly in a crescendo of acid riffs.
first time only on decks.de !!! gianluca meloni - ostinate sin (original) - solid track, no mercy, obsessively sinusoidal but with intense harmonic colors growing through infinite, showing gianlucas long experience as musician and producer.
gianluca meloni - ostinate sin (dino sabatini remix) an erupting volcano maybe is the best way to define the crazy rhythmic of this remix, killer dynamics bass frequencies and psicoharmonic filter treatment over noise generated percussions shifting sound perception, to be used with care, to avoid dancefloor explosion!
the two tunes you find in this debut ep have been fully written and produced by dino sabatini in his studio in berlin. modulation a may be a perfect introduction for the journey. it is a dense, tense ride into a liquid atmosphere of a techno playground. far to be aggressive, though. go through it, and youll get the essence of outis label. modulation b can be taken as a tool, yet totally undependent by its brother. as a standalone track, it can bring the dancefloor into an evanescent state of ghostly fog, self-spreading all around you. but when played over another track, its capable of adding the spiral touch of a transparent radiation, like being in a boundless land youve never been before
sonic groove welcomes berlin based friend, italian born producer dino sabatini to its family of artists. dinos brand of hypnotic industrial tech noise hit the spot with many last year with his double ep daughter of phorsys on killer techno imprint prologue, germany, a killer release that many top techno dj supported. now for his first release of 2011 dino continues exploration into the dark side of the industrial techno sonic groove with his four track small step ep. a masterpiece of deep dark electronic music ranging from peak floor burners to dark deep mind burners that techno & industrial lovers from around the universe will surely love.

as both a producer and the helmsman of the outis music label, dino sabatini has carved out a distinctive musical style that shows a great reverence for both ancient archetypes and future possibilities for change (see, for example, his mnemosyne co-release with edit select, in which each track is dedicated to a separate greek goddess). with one foot planted in a mysterious past and the other foot planted in a world yet to arrive, sabatiniís works are carefully realized emotional journeys that intertwine shimmers of optimism with undercurrents of poignancy or nostalgia.
dinos productions always deliver exactly our vision of music: deep, hypnotic, atmospheric and mind-driven. its no surprise that we are more than proud to announce the third prologue album this year, which comes from our high respected mate from berlin.
the edit select imprint continues its tribute to testes seminal the wipe with this first part of a series of remixes 12inches. first to the plate is none than rrose (sandwell district/eaux) and dino sabatini(prologue/outis) for two distinct takes on this classic track.
its now the turn of shapednoise for features series, and to complete this ep made of pure adrenaline theres the remix of the well known dino sabatini (outis music, sonic groove, prologue). shapednoise, one of the youngest and most promising artists of the techno scene, is based in berlin, fully living the repitch recordings project. his musical background is really wide, and you can notice it listening to his productions, a futuristic vision of the sound, with industrial elements and synthesizers characterizing his sonority. the second act of the series starts with white light white head: an out of ordinary track, an unusual beat, techno futuristic, that flows into a neo-industrial sound, with soundscapes that make it mental, but at the same time a post-apocalyptic dancefloor hit. dino sabatinis version hypnotizes us, manipulates shapednoises sounds las only he can do, with his incomparable personality, rhythmics and drone evolving until the end of a trip to the edge of reality. cosmic landscapes (the tiltle already tells a lot), is a track with very powerful rhythmics, for the lovers of straight-techno. shapednoise, an artist to absolutely keep an eyes on this year. also this time the artwork of pasquale ascione makes its part: surreal, unique, making you wondering where this faces come from, maybe from our dreams.features series is a whole of musicalities where images and imaginary interpenetrate. supported and played by norman nodge, perc, samuli kemppi, jonas kopp, marcel dettmann, adam x, tommy four seven, lucy, dvs1, pfirter and many others!
