darek recordings presents this various artist release, divided in two colored vinyl editions, including productions of well-known artists who love and support secret island nation, such as: ian pooley, samuel l session, franco bianco, yapacc, david keno and many others. secret island nation is a 4-day festival on an extremely beautiful, lonely island in the west-swedish archipelago. depending on the year, during the last week of july or the first week of august, the utopian nation sweutschland will be founded, where its citizens define and live according their own rules. everything is built from scratch in a joint effort and the program is accompanied by finest, mostly electronic music on two floors by more than 30 very international artists. but bear in mind, this is the roughest part of the swedish west coast, weather and thus our plans will change or go wrong, expect the unexpected is part of the concept!

after a well deserved winter pause, darek is back with a new vinyl edition, perfect for the start of the mild and sweet sunny days! this time, the swiss/argentinean label offers something smooth and fresh. sakro who is a young producer from mexico, delighted us with these deep house gems. for the vinyl, he produced two original tracks, one of them is featuring asylum. we are also very lucky to have sierra sam, marcus vector as well as the midnight perverts featuring gionny on board, for the remixes! but now, lets talk about the music…

darek presents its ninth release and 2nd vinyl edition named >maremoto ep<. it includes three original tracks of dich also known as diego cheloni or katama and three remixes delivered by signal deluxe (trenton, eintakt, fade, blaq) from mexico df as well as demir & seymen (highgrade, pentagonik) from berlin and jimmi hendrik (deep vein audio, dirty monkey, tanztone) from plauen / jena. dich was born in fray bentos in uruguay, and nowadays, he is living in montevideo. he s very active as a dj, producer and remixer. his career began as a self-taught musician approaching to percussive instruments, guitar and piano. dichs productions go from minimal to conceptual and techno dub sounds. his music development embraces different styles and he is always ready to discover new horizons. his current work is definitely influenced by minimal and techno and it offers amazing variations of both styles. this new ep clearly shows that his production skills are very effective and he is definitely one to keep an eye on.
