cursor miners fourth studio album >requires attention< is his most coherent and accomplished record yet. featuring the singles >mad cow< (which spent 2 weeks on the dmc update chart) and >luna< (currently picking up radio play from huw stephens (bbc radio 1), nick luscombe (bbc 6 music), john kennedy (xfm) and more), it combines everything that is good and great about cursor miner, which is basically just about everything.
ckn 003 named mechanical invasion, is a maxi ep 12inch published by cyberknife records (from italy). contains 4 tunes produced by infernal noise. a real hardcore ep. unconfortable noises and powerfull dancefloor sounds. to be played with old praxis, fraktal, explore toi and no tek stuff... well done with nice printed jacket!

recorded in london and produced by the band with mark ralph, in our heads is the bands follow up to 2010s intoxicating one life stand and their first lp for domino.
limited edition heavyweight double 12 inch vinyl plus 7 inch vinyl >doctor<, including code for free mp3 download of the full album.
the final track of this release is an unusual track with at least an unusual name intelligent gum, which took a worthy area of the second side of vinyl. first of all, this track is remarkable duration of sound. despite the fact that it’s track so long lasting, but this it wants to listen again and again! it is quite hypnotic. soft as wadding and tasty as a chocolate with a delicious taste of liquor. in the course of listening you will find a lot of mystery and surprises for you, just enjoying the taste of chocolate with liquor.
having spent most of 2012 so far further establishing itself as a global bastion of forward thinking electronic dance music, the rwina label is changing things up a little with an ep from young dutch producer jameszoo.
on faaveelaa jameszoo displays the kind of brazen ingenuity that youth affords by drawing inspiration from dancehall before finding its edge to craft an entirely new take on the genre and using that to paint a colourful sonic picture of what he imagines a favela might look like. sounds mad? it is, in a good way. by his own admittance the picture he paints is also a bit messy, yet there is beauty in chaos. as for the inspiration, it can sometimes be hard to hear at first though anyone familiar with jamaicas dancehall tradition will recognise the instantly catchy quality of faaveelaas riddims.
the alfur ep is the second in the trilogy of records written by individual members of the old apparatus collective, which will be released in three month-by-month instalments.
alfur, produced by a. levitas, offers a view of the rusted old apparatus universe from another angle, a suite of songs that weave together deep feeling and influence into a complex and very listenable ep, built for deep listening at loud volumes. alfur is a mystical, deeply atmospheric five track set, recalling the spooked ambience of third eye foundation and earlier tricky material, with gauzy layers filtered through electronica and hip hop’s modern digital mechanics.
for the first solo ep on horror boogie, fedka the irritant steps up, after his outstanding track on horror boogie 01. fedka the irritant is probably best known as the trombonist in the excellent band pest (ninja tune), alongside ben pest (panic bridge, victim, bonus round). he is also a seriously original and versatile producer in his own right. he has released on panic bridge, alongside the other pest members and his trombone techno live sets are something to behold. here, he drops four varied tracks, starting with the behemoth >words for friends<. a heavy slice of wonky techno, with a big kick and rasping synth. next up is one uncertain eyebrow. a building, funky, fuzzy acid-laced track that drops harder and harder as it goes on. on side b, calypso-flavoured, jazzed up >stick it< progresses on to a become a warbling bass effort with a smooth hip-hop vocal. last but not least, is >you only die once<, another funk-laden monster, with a killer slap bass line.
with his second release for planet mu this year, >dream on< is more of a full-length outing for ital aka daniel martin-mccormick and a much more substantial record than the popular and critically acclaimed >hive mind<.
on >dream on< ital takes his experimentation with house and techno forms even further, creating impressionistic deconstructions from the tropes of early house and techno. sunny chords, laid back drum shuffle and rhythmic vocal loops are picked apart and threaded with a rich psychodrama of delirious textures, tidal chords and uneasy roughness and dissonance.
vinyl format ships with digital download code.
editions mego is happy to announce a vinyl reissue of the long out-of-print and impossibly rare final harry pussy album, the monumental >lets build a pussy<. originally released in 1998 after the band broke up, this has always been an elusive release.
berlin based martsman steps up for the latest techno release on pushing red. shrank and nycd both weigh in at less than 130 bpm despite bucket loads of shuffle. youd be forgiven for describing these sounds as garagey. shrank has some uplifting progression and plenty of hi-hats and nycd backs it all up nicely with some dub influenced tripped out sounds. another top release from pushing red. their third this year in fact.
the descent of man ep is the third and last part of a trilogy on vinyl dedicated to charles darwin studies. this final chapter is focused on the darkest side of electronic music and his impact on human psychology. as charles darwin studied the evolution of physical and mental traits, we want to show how obscure, trembling and aggressive sounds generate an increasing sense of agitation and loss while mild and gloomy atmospheres can relieve the body and brain, achieving a peaceful state of mind. dont be afraid to move into a shady space. this is not the end even if it could be.
following up on his exceptional 12″,,, debut numb (figure 73) earlier this year, seatoc mass delivers another ep of finely tuned and highly diversified techno deep space explorations. starting on an atmospheric note, cipher’s intricate melody winchingly twists its way under your skin while airy breakbeats faintly hint at the producer’s uk roots. in contrasting fashion the bleep- driven lost lakes sticks to its metronomic stomp, making for a simple yet utterly effective tool. choral howls and detuned synths merge on transform for a gentle yet trance-inducing introduction to the flipside. emotive highlight rain then sees the manchester producer sonically recreate a thundering storm, complete with flashing strokes of lightning and a downpour of celestial scale. the breakbeat returns on closer flying buttress, albeit now at much faster tempo, exploring the common ground between futuristic grime and techno. blending all these different styles and their distinctive tropes in a coherent statement is a feat not easily accomplished. yet here seatoc mass pulls it off again, developing further the confines of both his personal and the label’s sound.

EVERYTHING I KNOW AND I WILL NEVER KNOW ABOUT YOU (CASSETTE)
everything i know and i will never know about you is a journey through electronica, deep-house and pop, driven by the endless and timeless sources of inspiration that are love and life. prior releases on powerhouses diynamic, get physical and third ear have pinpointed denites sound at the border of deep and tech-house but his long player debut is, sonically, a fresh new adventure. the spanish producer takes a developed and matured sound into deeper dimensions of self-reflection, exploring new sonori- ties while remaining loyal to his early influences with strong personal touches on drums and keys. everything i know and i will never know about you is a bold move for denite, who comes a step closer to achieving his artistic vision. tracks like when i go out and the art of letting go embody the albums innate dance-floor nature while songs like berlin see the spanish producer looking square towards new horizons and musical ambitions. club-friendly while staying geared towards the headphones, everything i know and i will never know about you reads like a bridge between two love stories with similar paths and mirroring endings. opening with the slow, pulsating sound of a heartbeat, it follows the universal cycle of the highs and lows of a relationship, closing on brighter promises and new potentialities.
chicago veterans justin long and ken zawacki debut their circling vultures project on l.i.e.s. with three tracks of jackin mid-western techno. the duo sucessfully harness their influences from medusas and the warehouse techno scene of the 90s to create a beating high octane ep full of metallic synths and contorted rhythms somewhere along the lines of djax meets dan bell meets relief records. sure to be in all the bags this summer, this will not be the last you hear of this pair.
the very awaited vinyl release of this 2013 digital work of the french frederick barbe aka cold colors with the ukranian oksana rodionova aka xiu. the included tracks are somewhere between classical synthwave and light and extremely peaceful coldwave without loose the dj friendly approach characteristic of past cold colors productions. xiu s eerie vocals gives a new dimension to cold colors extremely elegant and simple analog sequences... this is a truly plastical jewel!. all tracks have been analogically remastered specially for this vinyl version.
electroacoustic experiments and filmic elements define the music that develops instinctively yet irrevocably, a sense of forward motion setting them apart. compositionally minimal, these tracks maximize their inherent potential all the way through to their logical and even illogical end. referencing electronica, ambient, shoegaze and at times modern classical harmonics, monochord builds and unbuilds in a slow heartbeat. introspective and filmic, its quiet and non-confrontational nature makes monochord move in the interzone between various spheres. their music escapes definition and that is its truest definition. its subtle pulse and evocative and drony feel invite and inspire.
brasilian producer lypovsky debuts with his double tracker on resopal very proper. his nightmare in kongostr. vinyl features two remarkable tracks that capture his many versatile talents from driving house tools to reduced on the point techno. both tracks are full with brooding vibrant pads and spikey synths linger over spacious drum patterns, while live drum fills, and claps bouncing off the bass pulses as wandering keys usher in. played by villalobos.
markus wormstorm, the one man phenomenon, is back with his new album. in it wormstorm experiments with down tempo pulses, bernard herrmann style compositions , african click singing, anime ́,,,sampling and xhosa rapping. unlike his previous albums, wormstorm presents a whole new style called african electronic , which combines his passion for the cultural effects of south africa along with his expertise in electronic music and classical composing. figure in field consists from a various amount of collaborations, keeping you captivated and fascinated leading into his fantasyworld and - at the same time - into the reality of modern south-africa.
listen up! dizzy tunes dj krime jets out with yet another well produced, most distinguished pinpoint production - sounding both classic and modern at the same time, this acid house & ghetto acid music sums it all up to please your needs!

here we are with the first release on adroit recordings. zurich based label, founded by different guys, born to give space to the underground music. herewith we present our first ep produced from one of the label owners sam angelo aka saime. he presents three original tracks with a underground and aggressive sound plus one remixes from isolated lines.
heard on “melancholia” are interpretations of honzo’s subconscious visions of life. the intense compositions are made up of drones, noises and distorted beats moving in and out of the frame. on opener “orientalism” said elements blend with hi-hat brushes, brassy synth pads, sci-fi noises and distant human voices evoking islam’s “adhan” (call to prayer). the theme contemplates over alienation caused by western accounts of “orientalism”, soaked in “hüzün” (the turkish term for melancholia). on a2 a rework of “moral masochism” is provided by the mysterious shadows outfit, starting with a distorted guitar over a slow and gritty rhythmic backbone which gradually turns into a chaotic high-intensity acid jam on the ep’s most dance floor suitable cut. on the flipside, “lovesickness” presents a broken kick rhythm periodically flipped by toms and accompanied by a disorienting hi-hat rhythm, ghostly strings and sporadic human moans – all resulting in a tribal mood, recalling a ceremony, perhaps a quest for a saviour from the blue temper? b2 presents the “moral masochism” original. again a distorted guitar plays over a slow rhythm, but compared to the remix, the original’s intensity is introverted, contemplating over melancholia’s effect of deriving gratification from self-inflicted moral humiliation. ambient closer “emptiness” explores a cold state with such an encapsulating airiness that it feels like a close account of another person’s mood down to the impression of their breath. arpeggiated synth noises appear from a distance representing increasing pressure from the outside world without ever suppressing the state of mind. as a result, “emptiness” sums up the state of melancholia experienced as a mood rather than the effect of a cause.
berlin experimental techno duo these hidden hands recently teamed up with lucrecia dalt for a 12″,, on hidden hundred, these moments dismantled. the abstract sonic terrain plotted in the eponymous first track finds its logical conclusion on the b-side, where tension and release oscillate in a harrowing groove. the artwork, created by jesse draxler, adds another layer of apocalypticism to the package. (electronic beats)
let, the young but already assured label from the amsterdam based party crew presents their next release from close friend, robin kampschoer. he previously released music on studio soulrock and redevice, and it is hypnotic, deep and painstakingly produced stuff that makes maximum impact with minimum effort. his first productions for the label come with a remix from none other than detroit s luke hess. serene and blissful rollers that will take any dance floor to a higher mental plane.
the cyovac machine is held together by a team of like minded artists that work to move production forward. cryovac functions to preserve the soundcraft of thees artists into the vinyl format. cryovac vinyl is pressed by a.garcia at archer record press in detroit. the cryovac operates to push music that represents the soul of its maker. sierra sam and pascal hetzel bring the smooth techno feel of berlin and an analog savvy to fist side of cryovac #14. they combine for two minimal machine soul bangers that zone your mind and move your body. spam burrito is the creation of a.garcia and kieth kemp. this combination rocks out choice wavs that have been tweeked to perfection under the rising and falling of effects. dave powers choses the low key emotional path of ever an evolving synth moving an intelligent knock. the 14th edition of cryovac is a must hear.
the new techno bomb on delude records vinyl comes from the new producer guy maik davis. the release contains the original mix of tension, a great techno bomb with fantastic arrangements and elements of electronic music. the remixes are from mike wall, the owner of the berlin based techno label wall music and marco trom, a new young producer guy from munich. the 3rd remix is produced by stevie wilson, a scottish dj and producer legend of the newer days.
spilt milk the label behind some of londons best parties step out with their 3rd release. this ep features four tracks skilfully put together by st. bernard, who gives us the 2 original cuts for the record.
zaquoir alias matthias groß is a producer and musician currently living in leipzig. after sending us more than 10 gigabites of great music, we sat down together and tied a selection of his really eclectic styles of production together into one lp, creating some sort of showreel created in the timespan of over 15 years. zaquoir himself sees the record as a reminiscent mood of a donkey in the sardinian sun and describes the record as a trip in itself, allowing the listener to traverse the lines of various acoustic landscapes. the tracks on the lp where produced in six different places, including a historic house in the centre of vilnius, the artist residency blumen in leipzig, a french-german art association and a village in northern bavaria.
bordello a parigi and nous klaer joined forces to release this straight up rotterdam affair. long time buddies (and neighbors) david vunk and electrick dragon supplied the music for a split 12inch. vunk kicks off the platter with an italo influenced house jam accompanied by a catchy 90s gabber tropicana-style korg polysix saw: anthem! on the flip parkzicht veteran dragon continues the euphoric vibes with his unique signature sound and makes you scream for endless happy days! a definite must have.

after theremynts lp space control – a journey into electronic music offered by jan richard & eva peel, the trip goes on with this new ep talking about human and robot love, one of theremynts favourite theme (rachel rosen - on the first album was inspired from philip k.dick *do androids dream of electric sheep* aka blade runner).

feadz is releasing his debut album instant alpha fifteen years into his career. his music is a careful balance of urban and electronic that finds its roots in rap, freestyle, electro, techno and house, but also in more ghetto influences such as footwork, trap, baile, etc. in short, feadzs music is a quintessential edbangerian alloy.
tychos *past is prologue* has a storied history. the tracks began as sunrise projector, tychos 2004 full-length debut on gammaphone records, the record was then expanded and reissued in 2006 as past is prologue on merck records, and now, ghostly international is reissuing tychos original masterwork, re-introducing graphic designer / producer scott hansens musical universe: a lush, expansive imaginary landscape of sepia-toned keyboards, warm downtempo beats, and mile after mile of sun-dappled beauty.
the 2x12 inch vinyl comes in gatefold cover with download code included.
valcrond video, the label of brooklyn-based visual artist and producer luke wyatt presents its very first vinyl issue in the shape of two new tracks from torn hawk, one of wyatts aliases. first coming to the fore in a musical sense with a set of distressed guitar and asphalt beat attacks on the lies white label series, torn hawk has been closely associated with ron morellis label ever since with wyatt subsequently working with karen gwyer, secret circuit and willie burns. distancing himself a bit from the grime and grit some associate with his productions, the two new tracks have more in common with the more expansively voiced compositions on emotional response release teen hawk, or the cinematic melancholy of the untitled ep he released under the alias lossmaker. clearly wyatt is building towards housing all his musical instincts under one roof.
forged in the pitch black recesses of underground berlin, long time conspirators sawlin & subjected have been making bold, distinct and largely faceless techno from the cloisters of their vault series home. now comes the first in a two-part ep for electric deluxe, titled foreign awake, a much broodier spacy homage than we’ve yet heard from the pair.
with this release rotraum brings two massive techno pieces on a transparent yellow colored oneside 12 inch.
*rough sine* by eric kanzler is a dark tech track with a groovy rollin bassline and an incisive snyth.
thomas wesers *90 degress* is even more uncompromising: athmospheric and moody detroit techno.
at the start, electronic pure sound (eps) is a militant association that aims to the emancipation of the underground electronic music. our common influence lays in early techno & house music productions from detroits musical pionneers

again we search into west coast skies to an artist reaching for them. to los angeles, to katie gately, still in the throes of academe we find her, playing at new pop forms. this here record in july bloom is a bold and exciting taster of what is in store, around the corner. six tracks of frightening ambition. a prime distillation in computer-music-pop. more alarming – this is her debut release, she has been making organised sound for just over a year.
kristoff georg, co-founder of the techno label fanciful (berlin), rotraum artist since 2009,and berlin-based producer marc rempel(kuess mich vinyl, suaheli, code2) first met in 2009at a party organized by kristoff at the relaisclub in berlin
its been almost a year since the release of efdemins fantastic two-tracker >america/the pulse<. >america<, that was also used on his curle mix-cd >carry on...<, became quite a big tune and even ended up on the number one spot in groove magazines chart. therefor efdemin preferred that no-one touched that track anymore, and we decided to give >the pulse< a remix treatment. john beltran is a highly respected artist that has been around since the early nineties - r&s! peacefrog! styrax! - and when we heard the ultra-funky mega-bomb he made from >the pulse<, we knew we made the right decision to ask him. another one of our long time favourites from accross the ocean is convextion aka e.r.p. he did some ground-breaking stuff on matrix, down low and frantic flowers. we asked him to do a remix of crcs amazing take on detroit techno, >vaskitsaherra<, originally on curle 009. the result ended up being nothing else than a timeless piece of art.
special ltd pack contains 2x12 inch poldermodel album + 10 inch remixes by bart skils & anton pieete and d julz... played by richie hawtin, marco carola, ricardo villalobos, adam beyer and 2000 and one
beginning from the abstractions of their self-titled debut release in 2004, the group embarked on a trajectory that saw them move toward near-song structures, tricoli’s voice becoming a dominant element amid an increasingly dense and layered production style. on speak to me, however, the listener feels confronted by the ghost of music, sonic memories echoing across a psychedelic expanse. evacuated of any clear structure, the music becomes a reverb-saturated morass, from which crystalline details momentarily emerge: shimmering echoed guitar, bowed double bass, tactile hand percussion, skittering electronics. suffused with a darkly pensive atmosphere, speak to me is an elegant summation of the distinctive blend of electroacoustic techniques, instrumental improvisation and contemporary psychedelia pioneered by 3/4hadbeeneliminated over the last decade
when hitting a streak it s best to keep going. for a prolific producer like ubx127 one ep just wasn t enough to keep up with his continuous output of high quality techno. constant permutation part 2 picks up where its predecessor left off and provides for another batch of deadly club weapons. living up to its title, beatless explorations sends out eerie signals deep into outer space, anticipating with suspense to maybe find some life form s response. it arrives in form of driving track felt and its ricocheting, arpeggiated synths, which would aptly soundtrack the decent of alien attack ships on our planet. weighty, yet mysterious Örnsberg seems to echo with the cries of long lost souls that have been trapped eternally inside its icy caverns. the ep ends with a masterclass in immersive sound design, a constant ebb and flow of layers, winding their way into the listeners subconscious. filling up a pair of twelves to the brim with tunes this well thought out and executed, ubx127 further displays his vast potential and leaves us with excitement for whatever he might be coming up with next.
on the second chapter of the kooaad muzik saga, obscure composer filippo diana shakes hand with cronenberg, carpenter and detroit s finest electro pioneers and delivers a masterful soundtrack to the never released sci-fi movie nemesi.

parachute is proud and excited to release art rock unit starfuckers legendary sinistri lp, remastered and pressed on vinyl for the very first time since its original version in 1994 on underground records. formed in 1987, starfuckers is an italian avant-garde band primarily from the 1990s, considered a notable part of the experimental rock scene and one of the more out there acts during their active tenure. originally inspired by 80s post-stooges noise and new york city no wave, starfuckers eventually carved their path to their own distinctive sound by following in the footsteps of xenakis, john cage, maderna and stockhausen — all without ever abandoning their own attitude and raw personality. an incredibly important record for us here at the label, sinistri feels just as fresh in 2016 as it did in 1994.
