coyu is working on his highly anticipated debut album it will explain a story, my story attests the big cat. it s the first chapter of this story and the debut single of the album is 1+1, a track made in collaborating with thomas gandey a perfect summer track, powerful but addictive and catchy. in coyu s own words 1+1 it s me and my girlfriend, me and my mother, me and my team, suara and me, my music and me, the world and me. because without the people you love and all that you love you are nothing. 1 + 1 is a claim to love and be loved, to embrace sensibilities, to create synergies and teamwork. but also, it is the communion of my two great passions: techno and house music. nine minutes of linear and heavy groove that melts with the notes of an emotional piano. it s a track that i m deeply proud of, i am pretty sure that in 10 years from now i will continue to enjoy it like i did the first day it was finished and after a year and a half i can now say that it is just as much mine as it is yours. because you and me are also 1+1. for the remixes probably we have the greatest pack ever on the label: gerd janson delivered an amazing interpretation of the track: truncate takes the track down to raw techno, less is more. last but not least we have the introspective trip of cosmin trg which completes one of the releases of the year on the kitties labe
coyu and ramiro lopez are regular production partners, having released a number of tracks on coyus own suara in the past, as well as john digweed s esteemed bedrock records. this latest track on drumcode further adds to their reputation as a force to be reckoned with. clap your hands allows the pair to display their talent for harder- edged techno. pounding drums, metallic rattling, a tension-filled breakdown and the eponymous distorted vocal sample help to ensure the track fits in perfectly with drumcode s high-quality repertoire. made with the dancefloor in mind, coyu debuted clap your hands during his set at valencias marenostrum festival, where it received a spectacular reception.
first part of cygnus remixes is here. that big track produced by coyu and sezer uysal will have a second life with big revisits.
the first remix is signed by one of the biggest legends of the electronic scene: the mighty john digweed, together with his studio partner nick muir, did a proggy-tech trip with tons of epic vibes.
gabriel ananda has turned the original into a more electronic, sophisticated and special track.
last but not least, coyu did a dub edit from his original cut, focusing the leadership of the track in the bassline instead of the melodies. great names for an amazing package!
it s time for the big cat and his party groovers! in this fifth volume coyu shows us one of his multiple faces as a producer. the ep contains sex is drama, powerful house music with heavy beats and an outstanding vocal leading the track, and who s wearing the trousers, a track with touches of uk garage, acid house and a big 90s feeling. this kind of appearances of the label boss on suara are not very usual so enjoy this couple of bombs, you won t regret! big support from: mark knight, paco osuna, nicole moudaber, carlo lio, prok & fitch, huxley, tube & berger and many more!
we ve got the 200th! seven years ago coyu started suara as a sub-label of his main project. the baby grew up until today, becoming a big community with the best electronic music producers of the moment and thousands of supporters around the world. for this anniversary, the big cat teamed up with sezer uysal for an special and unique tune. cygnus is the right production for melodic, sophisticated sets or deeper moments and works amazingly well as a closing track. lets enjoy this two hundred release from the kitty family!
this release is a collection of big names of the electronic music history, some of them are legends: pete tong & john monkman lead the list of big artists in this ep, they had produced the bumps a few months ago and now we can see the remixes of that track.
for the remix duties, suara is proud to have on board one of the biggest names of electronic music movement with more than 20 million albums sold, 8 songs in the uk singles chart, masterpieces like play or 18. the name of the remixer is moby, whom did a delicate and sophisticated deep house track for his debut on suara.
coyu is in the package too with a dancefloor, melodic, powerful interpretation of the original and julien jeweil did a really cool revision of the track in a techno way.
a ship called misterio takes us on a journey to the darker and harder spaces of noon records. where the last releases have been more dreamy and funky, this ep is nothing but techno at its finest. a ship called misterio takes off from the very depths of dissonant frequencies and builds up into a massive rolling drum pattern, distorted hooks and a hi-hat thunderstorm. be warned: this track doesn t show any mercy. a true peak-time record and nothing but dynamite for the dance floor.
welcome to this new volume of the big cat remixed. this second part has the amazing remixes from jay lumen, doorly and reboot. after the great success with the first part, here we can find jay lumen remixing one of the most popular cuts from coyu balls, doorly with his personal re-interpretation from unexpected souvenir and reboot doing his own rework from 1, 2, 3... fire!
it s been a long, long time since coyu produced an ep full of original tracks for his beloved kitty label. september of 2013 was the last party groovers from him. through all these months our mastercat has released several eps on cocoon recordings, snatch! records, noir music, bedrock records and some edits and original tracks with ramiro lopez and edu imbernon that have been released on suara. finally, we have our mastercat alone with two oustanding cuts. in my mind is a dark techno track with a break that it will literally blow your head up... balls , however, is a very housey and summery cut that will definetely break your hips because of the instantly recognisable vocals and the killer darbuka rhythm. enjoy this is 100% coyu!
cocoon latest artist signing coyu is back on the track with his second cocoon recordings release. and he strikes back louder and heavier than ever before! for quite some time coyu focused mainly on the deeper sides of house and techno, especially with his own label suara
5 years ago i begun an awesome adventure called suara. after a few records the label started to be called the label of the cats. nowadays its one of the hottest new brands of the techno/house music industry. today we arrive to the release no.100, a very special one. thats why ive asked to some of my fav artists ever to remix southen instinct, one of my most popular records of the latest years. riva starr, vince watson and satoshi tomiie are on the controls of this kitty ship.
..together again. coyu and edu imbernon, the hottest spanish producers join his forces again to make another enormous ep. they know the summer is coming so they ended up with a track that was made to play with the sun shining over our heads. open air is a track that will refresh your mind, pure techno coming from the mediterranean sea. although the remix is coming from cold germans lands, and after their great success with imprint of pleasure, tube & berger have manage to edit a fresh cut that perfectly complements the original one. without any doubt is the best ep to start the summer with. its hot!
coyu is back on noir music and this time stronger than ever. he serves up a double a-side with the haunting techno tune salvation and the lfo oldschool inspired future house.we fell in love with both tracks on the spot and are happy to have such a strong release by coyu on noir music. remixes will follow late summer.

the spanish dj, producer and labelowner of suara records, ivan ramos alias coyu has a keen sense and a hot hand on selecting his production-partners. together with edu imbernon he released >el baile alemßn< on liebe*detail which hits the dancefloors everywhere and is maybe the most played track right now. togehter with uner, who is a studied bassist, they bewitched us with two unbelievable fresh groovy funky housetracks. this ones gonna hit summer 2009 for sure!
argentinian born, barcelona based producer flug steps up for the next in the suara series. aptly named rave his hard-hitting techno weapon has an air of the rave days to it, marrying classic hoover synth sounds with an industrial kick perfect for those big room drops. three remixes of the original come via matrixxman, coyu and stanislav tolkachev each providing their own glitched out, rave heavy interpretation, offering up three different paths to dancefloor destruction.
