in den frühen 1990er jahren wurde der multidisziplinäre denker, philosoph und mystiker terrence mckenna zu einem der lieblinge der aufkeimenden rave-szene - und bis heute zu einer der meistgesampelten stimmen der tanzmusik. der höhepunkt von terrence mckennas auseinandersetzung mit der tanzmusik ist jedoch zweifellos alien dreamtime - eine multimediale kollaboration aus didgeridoo, live-video-mixing und erhabenem techno-ambient, die 1993 auf einem 48-stunden-rave in san francisco stattfand, der unnachahmliche jonah sharp alias spacetime continuum legt die grundlage für mckenna, um das publikum in einen rausch zu versetzen, während er seine gedanken über eschatologie und den blick hinter den sprachlichen vorhang durch die kraft der psychedelischen erfahrung ausbreitet. zum allerersten mal wird die aufnahme dieses bahnbrechenden ereignisses auf vinyl veröffentlicht, damit sie sich auf den gaianischen geist einstimmen können.
