after solemnly closing out the spc-series in 2016, jeroen search hands in his second ep of the year for figure. carrying his signature style, these tunes embody the live-recording feel he is known for, perfectly executed and arranged in clean-cut layers. both tracks on the a-side feature big and beefy beats, their generous sub-range creating ample space for the juxtaposing elements to effectively slice through, whether it be the penetrating bleeps of deduced or the piercing rides on interval. things get bumpy on the flip when the rugged but undeniable groove of steady pulse firmly stands its ground against repeated onslaughts of flailing percussion. the jolty rhythms and tinkling loops of endless circles may seem like it being the odd one out, but unexpectedly merge into an intricate mesh of sounds, making for a most memorable closer to this jam-packed ep.

after the world applauded sascha funke for his latest album lotos land, he gave away some tunes to friends for remix duties. düsseldorf based tolouse low trax formed twirl into a foggy dark mpc-seducer for romantic nighthawks that love dancing. also australian boy dreems prepared a remix that grooves odd and uncommon. his percussive version of im feiern und feuer is a slow whirlwind, perfect to start and end a great dj night. with tuff city kids a duo formed a remix that is good for big room love affairs. their version of purple hill is a heartfelt melange between trance and house deepness that works on any dance floor. the final edit comes from glasgows junto club, who transformed comola, a tune that they already produced originally with sascha funke, into a longing dark melodic synth stepper. four versions, four hits, four atmospheric dimensions beyond words. tune it loud!

ernestas kaušylas aka brokenchord is a music producer and composer born and raised in utena, a small industrial town in lithuania. kaušylas was quickly picked up by black acre, releasing both a 7inch single and an ep, after an exclusive mix of his was aired on bbc radio one’s experimental showhosted mary anne hobbs in 2010.
endless transmissions is the brainchild of kaušylas who single handily (bar two tracks) wrote and performed the entire album. the only collaboration was with jazz drummer, augustas baronas , who he encouraged to play as mechanically as possible. the lp pays homage to creativity and the ability topush the limits of technology with the physicalness of a human body. kaušylas explains “machines that mimic human grooves is boring but the other way around it becomes quiet interesting”.

paris artist exal makes his sequel ep on prodigal son with remixes from uk talents setaoc mass & dyad.

the italian duo boot & tax got already one lp and four eps under their wings who all deliver house and techno that stands out. so far their records been published by glasgowÆs finest optimo music and meant records from paris. now the two give their debut for endless flight and release three tunes that listen to the name ôdimensionö. they all got funk, they all love mesmerising melodies. you can feel the power of disco coming in with heavy seducing strings. you can get lost in echoed drums, trippy sounds and some oriental tones. and you also can march to cosmic techno that loves krautrock without embracing it. a multi-coloured ep that spreads deepness in an uncommon sense. if moves the heart and soul profound, while staying edgy and catchy.

the second release in endless illusion s series of split eps comes from marcos cabral & daniel araya and features two tracks from each artist. new york s cabral is known for his experimental idm and techno on labels like l.i.e.s. while daniel araya has recently released an album of acid, techno and industrial on the classicworks label. araya s we almost lost detroit is first and is a truly haunted deep techno cut with sparse acid undulations and a real sense of manic in the rasping synth lines. softer pads in the background only add to the spooky nature of the track. ghost bass is the other araya cut and this one is more up on its toes, with mid tempo kicks down low and wonky chords up top. it s a mind melting tune that trips deep into the night. live at the egg is cabral s first effort and is a lonely and icy techno track that is supple and seductive in its long lines and paddy drums. after getting you into a state of hypnosis, some freaky vocal sounds only add to the unsettling nature of it all later on. cuts & bruises rounds things out in squelchy and depraved techno territory. muted acid stabs are off in the distance as swampy drums suck you in from the front. it s a brilliantly odd tune that close out a fine ep.

the third and final part of the jacob f. desvarieux anthology on endless flight brings two more hot productions of the fabled french zouk veteran with roots in guadeloupe. the tune “rifyx” is taken from desvarieux’s 1985 album “oh madiana” and delivers arresting jazz-funk and zouk-suspense enlarged with touching horns, synth-enthusiasm and longing female vocals. the second song comes from the paris based, west cameroon born singer tala, produced by desvarieux for tala’s album “mother africa” in 1982. also here desvarieux tuned the synthesizers odd and edgy to let them dance with an afro styled rhythm. above all tala sings sexy with a chorus of girls while percussions go crazy and the sounds of horns are longing for the sky. on top of everything endless flight asked again the japanese producer kuniyuik to edit a desvarieux track. he chose “rifyx” and tuned it into an epic soulful eight minutes long dream house anthem that funks all dancers crazy. hotter than hot stuff here!

last year producer and dj eddie c released his third endless flight album “on the shore” - a compelling musical trip of drifting repetition in rhythm and melody. now he drops a new ep, consisting of three new track and “auf der ufer” – a tune he did with his norwegian buddy rune lindbaek, that is dancing a cosmic dance and that was never released on vinyl before. the three other works are crossing different territories. the eight minutes meditation “pumapunku” marries balearic flair with otherworldly synth-spheres. the also epic “inner piece” opens the house box with waving basslines, furious chord suspense and some unexpected breaks. the final is marked by “lonely without you” - a funky blue tune that brings in some peoples potential unlimited vibes for endless autobahn rides. another heartfelt arranged mix off instruments, synths, samples and drum machines by eddie c, the heartfelt canadian in berlin.

it is almost summertime and endless welcomes the brazilian analogue wizard zopelar. >origini< is a cinematic techno track which is the result of a full analog jam, his obsession with vintage synths and drum machines. the track opened most of last live years shows. zopelar is also writing and producing various forms of propulsive pop, running the excellent >in their feeling< label founded in 2015 together with his good friend davis, as well as performing in clubs and festival with his live techno project. on the remix a man who doesnt need introductions: ripperton, the finest swiss dj and producer, delivering two superb and outstanding remixes! from immersive dark techno to refined house, ripperton adds a fresh alternative sense of introspection to >origini<. we were simply delighted from the very first listen! enjoy!

the second part of the jacob f. desvarieux anthology on endless flight brings three more productions of the fabled french zouk veteran with roots in guadeloupe.
the song “sika” by georges décimus, bass player of desvarieux’s band kassav, features outer-national synth works driven by salsa-like percussions and sweet steel-drum melodies, dancing around the seducing zouk guitar chords of desvarieux. a truely moving psychedelic zouk gem, that is for the first available on vinyl only since its release on georges décimus’s solo debut mini-album “la vie” in 1983.
the second song “avèou doudou” was firstly released in 1985 and was written by the martinique born zouk star and former kassav keyboarder jean-claude naimro. his tune spreads feathery synth-laden caribean boogy vibes, enlarged by his tempting voice and more zouk guitar magic by desvarieux. the third gem comes from the zouk pioneer patrick saint-éloi, listens to the name “do bay lan main”, was never re-released since 1984, features the former kassav singer saint-éloi on the microphone, electric piano, organ and mini moog and gets once again softly heated by jacob f. desvarieux’s enchanting zouk guitar virtuosity. as already on the jacob f. desvarieux: anthology pt 1. release, japanese producer for special affairs kuniyuki delivers a unique edit. his version of “sika” is made for eternalness dance floor moments. the steel drums dance with more magic than in the original. propelled by spaced out synth-sounds, echoed drums and the discreet guitar chords of desvarieux, kuniyuki’s version of “sika” is ready to be a mind-expanding summer hit on all open minded dancefloors around the globe.

did he ever really leave berlin? yes: sascha funke was regularly in cologne. but then nowhere else. sure, as a dj and live artist he travelled around the world. but as a producer he always remained true to his peer labels bpitch control and kompakt with some minor exceptions. so far, so good. but now, just after the german that started his early attempts as a producer to-gether with paul kalkbrenner dropped some new feverish spaced out solo eps on imprints like multi culti and tiga’s turbo recordings label, the berlin born producer, dj and football fever victim re-leases his new, third solo album “lotos land” on tokyo’s finest platform for diverse musical adven-tures endless flight.

such a unique productions by the mysterious duo from italy, who’ve got the cult acquaintance on the last year by the re-edit of moodymann, and also the debut album from optimo trax compiled with middle east oriented-legend muslimgauze. in some extents following up our expectation which we already have gained from their last features, as mashing up ethereal vocalization with primitive unknown phrases and acidy drum strength - b side takes us further more by building up sounds indeed destined to the middle of nowhere - referring jaraï, the vietnamese ethnic minority and mapuche as aborigines in south america as its title. exactly designed for you who have been bored with similar four-on-the floor stuffs in the club.

it’s safe to say this release marks heist’s most international endeavor so far: next up we’ve got alma negra, 4 guys with roots in portugal, cabo verde, italy and spain, hailing from switzerland. they’re putting out an african influenced ep with german detroit afficionado soulphiction involved for a remix. afro lovers will probably know alma negra because of their great work on highlife, sofrito or basic fingers and we’ve been in touch with them for a long time to make this release happen. their 3 originals are a great showcase of their skills, blending traditional african music with contemporary house and techno.

we are very much excited to support this re-issue, credited by jacob f. desvarieux, a composer and also well known as the guitarist of kassav - the only-one band which continually embodies the word zouk- for last few decades. a1 is the tune showing us psychedelic guitar phrases fused together with wobbling heavy synthesizer. you’d better hurry to get the copy for this song, since this is just simply a killer. besides it, a2 is also a tropical danceable tune with moving bass and impressive vocoder chorus, makes everyone literally -emotional- on the floor. kuniyuki joins with more deep spacey re-edit on the b side, probably we need few words to describe this man in our bio because of his right craftsmanship. following re-issue could be expected from us in near future. grab one and find yourself in caribbean exotica!

as the world collapses, dragging its unwilling inhabitants into insanity, a few things, fortunately, remain true. the man who s contributed to the development of the jak sound on behalf of the nation community from lake michigan to the dutch west coast, where he became well known for several eps released on creme organization records, is back. after two full-length albums, dozens of eps and action in the 2am/fm project, dmc has gained well-earned respect as an underground artist. we are very pleased to bring this little return to the jak beat style.

endless is proud to welcome pablo bolivar. deep, dark, melodic and intricate grooves, pablo injects once again an evident soul into this work and his commitment has justly earned him the respect of his peers. listening to dahnser and hideaway we can easily understand why pablo is undoubtedly one of the most acclaimed producers of the spanish underground music scene nowadays and now part of our family.

advanced deep driving techno from amsterdam! jp enfant s let recordings continues to slowly but surely build a fine reputation, and in fact his last ep on the label featured a track, sirens , which got used to great effect by daniel avery on his acclaimed dj kicks mix. now a fourth interesting ep on let recordings comes from shoal, who makes his first out on vinyl after a digital release on planet rhythm in october. utrecht based shoal aims to balance his techno sounds somewhere between rhythmic hypnosis and detailed soundscaping. he urges listeners to twitch out of their comfort zone and to really engage with his music. that is made all the more easy given that it is such inventive stuff. a powerful ep from this emerging new artist.

zarkoff (sasa rajkovic) is croatian musician and sound engineer that has been busy making proper sound of dozens labels and doing his own music last ten years. genre could be described as dark electronics, somewhere between techno and synth wave, but if there is something that makes him unique, it s his powerfull and distinctive voice. sasa is also member of ebm-ish project sumerian fleet, having releases on mighty dark entries or creme organization, where we took the opportunity and asked his colleague, legendary mr. pauli to enrich this 12inch with proper west coast style remix.

portland based producer strategy is back on endless flight. strategy have been released from kranky, 100%silk, further records and name a few. we always enjoy his unique house music and ambient stuff. this new ep contains four killer low-fi house stuffs. it’s probably his most club friendly record.

the omnibus band was founded by jarda zajpt and petr dikan in 1979 in czechoslovakia. having met at the electronic high school, electronics was their field of expertise. over time, petr dikan constructed several sound devices such as the Šílený fridrich (Šf, crazy frederick) keyboard and the vsd (všude samý dráty/wires everywhere) generator which he operated during the recordings and also at concerts. at that time, heavily influenced by brian eno and robert fripp from the king crimson band, jarda zajpt played the guitars, using all kinds of effects, pre-recorded tapes, and one or more interconnected tape recorders. the first record, “israels”, was produced between 1980 and 1982. in 1985, jarda zajpt swapped a guitar for a keyboard and a new member arrived – pavel zvolenský – who programmed and played the automatic percussions. martin bauer, playing the bass guitar, completed the trio. they have produced a second album, “rhythmus”, in this assembly. remastered from unreleased tape recordings. this is the first release in the framework of the project jupiter 08 – archeology of the slavic electronic sound.
