rising label 04 is coming with a very complete ness ep which includes a ben gibson remix. >chronoscope< is the intro track that opens the release, a beautiful landscapes piece where ness shows his love and dexterity for the ambient music. following, >pantropy< is already starting with a heavy kick, far voices layered between the percussions and a sweet melody developing and coming up with that >trancey< touch that ness is able to do. on the b side comes >uchronia<, the track from where the release take the name, a strong broken track with shaped and dynamic percussions where some >chronoscope< landscapes are used flowing as the track goes on. to close the ep ben gibson delivers a classy >uchronia< remix going simple but effective, a perfect balance between gibson style and ness track that totally works out on the floor and makes the prefect closing track for that release.

the original opens with a field recording intro followed shortly after by heavy bass shots and a pulsating kick drum. snare patterns and an underwater synth melody hit the speakers with an abstract touch, while halfway through the pace changes with a new bass coming in. an experimental and brave track, it reflects idriss djing style and his long sets, going into different mental spaces, a wavelike combination of beats and up&down rhythms. eduardo de la calle s trademark analog sounds fill his tribute remix with acid keyboards, rim shot grooves, industrial noises and metallic vibes, swinging with a rolling bass line and bringing the original percussions to the fore.

paint en pointe is a compilation of selected compositions by eugene ward, otherwise known to most as dro carey / tuff sherm. the tracks have been taken from a series of performance collaborations with choreographer patric kuo over a 5 month period. the performances, which occurred monthly in the latter half of 2014, took place in spot81 gallery in chippendale, sydney. kuo and ward, along with a roster of dancers, were invited to create new dance works that responded to the exhibition occurring during the given month. throughout the series many ensemble types were explored, ranging from solos up to large groups of as many as 16 dancers. patric kuo is a sydney based dancer/choreographer originally trained in all styles, but presently heavily draws his influence from hip hop and contemporary dance. coming from a performing arts and commercial dance background, kuo has expanded his ideas about communicating to an audience, moving away from the traditional entertainment relationship towards an approach that includes engagement more informed by performance art

discobar is coming back with a french addition to the label, based in paris and the third part of the trio antislash. we welcome toba, our dear friend who has signed an original ep for the 2nd release on discobar. we can definitely hear the techno minimal sounds with a touch of deepness. baptiste veilhan aka toba shows us his universe with more than 10 years of experience behind him in production with the trio antislash. this will be his first apparition in solo.

fresh from the release of their very first lp, here is an ultra rare repress coming from mid-nineties usa via one of the paris finest new labels, lazare hoche records. the bossman himself lazare hoche is an avid collector of rare house joints, and has a penchant for anything the truly epitomises the spirit of house music, raw, undiluted and full of funk. unlike some collectors who never reveal their secrets, lazare hoche decided to share his knowledge of those hard-to-find tracks of the past with this new release, and so acquired the license for three tracks by the cult duo nimbus quartet grouping them all together in a special vinyl-only reissue.

the japanese kin-ben label offering a fine blend of some powerful techno tracks from a range of up and coming producers and some established japanese names such as akaaki itoh who has been around for a while and played in more then 20 countries/200 cities. ninja power techno!

strategy aka paul dickow is back on idle hands for an lp following last years *return from the stars* 12 inch. *seeds of paradise* finds strategy boldly firing experimental electronics and dub back into outer space. like his work for zam zam, kranky and his own community library label, this latest outing from the portland-based producer nestles deftly between roots influence and sci-fi leanings. the result is a glistening 40 minutes of sonic exploration, never simplistic but never obtuse, which will sit happily on the turntables of sofa loungers and adventurous djs alike.

strictly rhythm continues its revitalised run of release with i love you from newcomer obas nenor, with remixes coming from andres and luke solomon. i love you intoxicates from its very first beat, an idiosyncratic house cut that wears its disco and soul influences very much on its sleeve. driven by poignant strings and a heartfelt vocal, it breathes nostalgic life into any room in which it is played. the andres remix beefs up the bottom end, with cosmic synths and a wandering bassline transforming the cut from poignant to powerful. solomons body edit further takes the track into dancefloor territory, with sharp percussion and an urgent groove making the track fully suitable for peaktime club play

ames henry is coming back with a multi-flavored ep. raw and groovy as usual.

the supremes, the most commercially successful girl group in pop history, were one of the jewels in motown records artist stable. given wonderful material by motown s amazing songwriters, the group scored numerous number one pop hits, as did singer diana ross when she left the group and went solo, and motowns bright, modern, and uptown image as a label had a lot to do with the way these ladies gracefully and elegantly presented themselves and took over a song. two dozen of those number one hits, both as the supremes and as ross solo, are collected here, including the timeless classics *come see about me*, *you cant hurry love*, *you keep me hangin on* and *stop! in the name of love*. the album also features a bonus remix of *you keep me hangin on*.

4th and final part of this legendary morris audio compilation series bringing some new (origins sound, manooz) and old faces (volta cab, julien sandre), but keeping the house vibe in different shades. up and coming origins sound (glasgow underground, lost) present a bassy pumping uk house tune whereas volta cab (kolour, hypercolour) goes back the the rave days and invites us to some hardcore heaven. the flipside starts with morris audio buddy julien sandre, who is still some kind of secret underground weapon, even if he already released on argys these days label or on tsuba. finishing off the ep is manooz (alive, extended play) with a great deep and raw house tune. this all is for you, seven daze a week!

after the frenzy heat of miami, quantize keeps the fire coming with this release. neil pierce scorches the spring with a soulful groover that sizzles in lyrics & production. neil is on fire and on this release he teams with mike patos to re-introduce/re-produce a classic from mtume. seldom do you hear live bass (john turner) on dance records, and you will appreciate the authentic musical production in this. when you add in vanessa freemans effortless performance on this with vocals that demonstrate that she is the perfect vocalist to re-sing a classic, you are ready she sings of desire and of love with soulful class and delivery.
