following his appearance (albeit in remixed form) on the debut 12- from keyboard masher s pleasure unit imprint, norwegian eccentric skatebard is given the honour of releasing the label s second ep. apparently all three tracks are vintage cuts from the archive, previously unheard but original recorded straight to tape in his home studio. there s naturally much to enjoy, beginning with the scandolearic-goes-rave synth-house madness of -react 2 rhythm- - all urgent, swirling beats, epic synthesizer melodies and mid- 90s us garage influences. there s more surging, nu-disco goes-house fare to be found on -it goes on & on (the bassline)-, while -pingu- is a joyous chunk of chugging scandolearica blessed with tactile shaker percussion and a jaunty, rock solid synth bassline.

if you re going to have an experience, it might as well be a luxury one. lux experience is a mysterious norwegian producer, who presents us with a selection of steamy late night disco re-edits dripping in luxury, trawling his vinyl collection for the choicest sample material. the shimmering disco boogie of doin it is a tribute to one of norway s longest living club nights, dance dance dance is a cover, not an edit, of the classy chic classic and finally u cant hide is a vintage vocal disco gem.

the lunes de fiel compilation kicks-off with an extended uptempo trapped-in-a-maze hysteria set in a psychedelic 90s norwegian remake of potemkin in the harbor of bergen. in the woods of woody lithuania it continues with a road movie starring a young smugglers couple and arguably the most legendary love scene in film history. the story ends at night with a directors cut of a downhill indiana jones on lsd fighting hungry alligators at the riverside of the elbe valley. a definite must have on the new bitter moon imprint!

t c f is the moniker of norwegian contemporary artist and experimental computer musician lars holdhus. his work explores themes of code, cryptography and privacy through the use of visual, sonic, built and written concepts. often the titles and descriptions of his work are written in cyphertext, the key to which is hidden within the piece itself. his forthcoming release on liberation technologies will further this cryptographic theme, consisting of digital and physical content containing the necessary keys to unlock the full meaning of the work.

until recently, the legendary ricardo villalobos was the only one to remix acclaimed norwegian folk singer mari kvien brunvoll. ricardo s -celestial remix- of the track -everywhere you go-, has been widely played in the underground music scene this year. the italian dj,producer marco faraone, who s music has also made it into labels like desolat, all inn and moon harbour, loved mari s voice, and decided with his friend piegaja, to remix a different song called > something inside<, just for fun, himself and in his own dj sets. but when mari heard it, she decided to officially release it !!! check this masterpiece rework! limited one-sided vinyl 12 140gr gatefold! vinyl only

tian gjevik (eod,cn), passionate and curious about electronic music, found in a trondheim thrift store a tape of the norwegian legendary project : the educational music -sports/tools-. he contacted one of the two composers called dildrian schrodinger. he has managed to negociate with him a deal for a vinyl license with weme records. we can find in this project ordered by the norwegian state all an experimentation work with electronic machines from the 1980 s. it is sometimes accompanied by a clumsy singing quite modern at that time.

brooklyn duo xeno and oaklander are a minimal electronics girl/boy duo from brooklyn, ny. they began writing music and soundtracks in 2004. liz wendelbo is french / norwegian and sean mcbride is from maryland. they record their songs live in their brooklyn studio and play analogue synthesizers and instruments exclusively. this summer, xeno and oaklander bring their minimal electronic sounds to ghostly international with new album par avion, their first for the label.
