for the past two decades, ivan smagghe has perfected the art of making spaced-out clubbers dance, has ridden a fine line and run his label les disques de la mort. rupert cross is a london-based composer who has worked with michael finissy and julian anderson as well as writing music for television and theatre. before/after ma, an album which sat on the fringes of experimental music passed through an industrial particle accelerator. s&c give you the tracks codenamed timothy dalton (according to ivan, the laser sound in the track reminded us of flash gordon). neither pop, nor psychedelic, nor ambient, nor house, nor techno, nor post punk nor even new wave are spared, but none are singled out. to nurture this proto-album, the duo also called upon the talents of tim felton, the outstanding guitarist from the cult band broadcast.

the vision of techno is presented by seven producers from electronic music scene of poland. the well-known artists - blazej malinowski i micha&#322,,,, wolski, who work intensivly over new productions, promote polish scene abroad with liveacts ans dj sets, are resposible for radio broadcasts on which they bring valuable information in relation to electronic music to the listeners. isnt, a very well know female dj and promotor, who has recently started producing hypnotic techno productions. less known, and deeply dark, developing project - the obkt, which is the result of the cooperation of two well-known dark techno producers milena kriegs and eastern renaissance. together with them on the compilation, the lesser-known producers are completing and emphasizing the character of the compilation, nternal bserver (read: internal observer), who has already released several ep�s, and who focuses on playing varied and heavier sound during liveacts. trnah, a female producer with a lot of experience on musical collaborations, who shows with her charming song, that a techno album containing more powerful and hypnotic sound can also be filled with nostalgia and exceptionally captivating sadness.

the band scarletts fall is a duo formed in 2014 by ruth childs (british-american performance artist and singer based in geneva) and stephane vecchione (swiss performance artist and musician based in lausanne). they define themselves as dirty-girlie-kitchen-pop mixing catchy melodies and repetitive looping with fragile vocals and provocative texts. out of their playfully ironic and poetic universe you can ear shades of can, broadcast and young marble giants.

the duo dubdiggerz, hailing from the depths of slovenia, have been stirring up soundsystem culture a fair bit the past few years. even though the two-headed moniker has been taking part in this movement since its inception in 2011, both mark and daniel have already given life to some of the heaviest dubplates. these have been in steady rotation since their very first productions were finished and cut to lacquers. their tailored focus on the meditative properties of basslines, to-the-point percussion and perfectly executed dub effects make every �dubdiggerz� cut a special occasion. without surprise, this has already led to support from some of the most established names in dubstep, including joe nice, distance, v.i.v.e.k, j:kenzo and sleeper. mark and daniel have a promising release schedule in 2017, releasing their first music on vinyl thanks to the trust of america�s dubstep ambassador joe nice and his acclaimed gourmetbeats imprint � something both producers are very grateful for. their involvement in the deepend! movement, �a like- minded group of individuals conspiring to advance their soundsystem culture concepts�, will result in their consecutive vinyl release � and more be unveiled later this year. bazzwarz is the producers� bi-monthly radio shows, which is broadcasted via the dj�s live-streaming community chew.tv. this and their respected deepend! sessions have given them the opportunity to invite international producers to the show and play exclusive material from around the globe, soon streaming their 100th broadcast - with the first broadcast aired in 2011. therefore make sure to keep an eye on dubdiggerz, a promising moniker that has a lot in store for you and the rest of the world.

(lena platonos) is a greek musician, pianist and music composer. one of the pioneers of greek electronic music, she remains active today. lena was born in heraklion, crete, and grew up in athens. she began learning how to play the piano at the age of two and became a professional pianist before turning eighteen. soon afterwards, she received a scholarship to study in the the berlin and vienna academies , where she was exposed to jazz, rock and middle eastern music. she returned to greece in the late 70s and began working with the hellenic broadcasting corporation.
