federsen returns to fifth interval for another sublime instalment of dance floor friendly dub-techno. dewpoint is an altogether tighter affair when compared to the label s first release, point reyes. the drums are taut and razor-sharp, propelling the listener effortlessly through a dense fog of ferric clouds, swelling to fill the outer-reaches of the echo chamber. a highly polished metallic production style that can be compared to some of andy stott s early and classic works. tomas rubek remixes dewpoint for the b-side, remaining faithful to the original track s structure but viewing it through a tinted lens. dewpoint s chords become iridescent, kick drums fall into a straighter pattern and are backed by further dusty percussion, shifting the original into spheres inhabited by the likes of rod modell and fluxion.

alex font repeats in oblack- only like the best and he does it showing the most acidic and clubby version of that the real house that permeates their sound from start to finish. this acid flow is the fifteenth reference of the pastorial label commanded by snna and nacho arauz- from ibiza the valencian alex font presents us with an original passage of festive house, trotter and no-friend of the depressions where the legendary sound of the roland tb-303 is the pacesetter, disguises the soul and adds foundation to the track. and, since it breaks the acidic sound through antonomasia, this acid flow, shows his playful and fun side. this is a bright and optimistic theme, designed and checked to make us dance with a smile on our face, no doubt. a bare-chested tribute to those early 90s when electronics was all about joy and effervescence.

dilated pupils is a duet composed by renowned ivano tetelepta & roger gerressen. this ep is the first of future serie that will bring together the two artists and some guest artists.

deep dubby techno on this new sound architecture. the label originally founded in rotterdam and currently operated from antwerp still going strong on a irregular base with tight modern techno and house releases. this one is maybe the first thats more or less rooted in the best dub techno traditions with a modern twist, remaining those nice swampy moist synths and seductive grooves. deadbeat and hreno come together to produce a dub techno tune of mcconaugheyan proportions.

dj haus goes a little freaky on the helta skelta ep. this 4 track ep show his strangely funky side with some odd and jerky rhythms and melodies. it takes its cues from the windy city but doesnt hide dj haus roots in the uk with a bleepy techno twist and pirate radio energy.
