after some remix projects and a lot of work on their new live set, the next original mix from saitezwei will be released as digital and vinyl release. also for this project, the two guys cooperatedwith the label tach & nacht from hamburg. the song is a mixture of deep and tech house elements with driving drum structures, saite zwei typical harmonies and a lot of variety. despite complex melodies and heavy chords, the entire ep has become very clubby and danceable this time. among other songs, the release will contain a remix of -morja-. the b side comes with an original track by morja called -reborn-. less melody, more groove could be the topic in comparison to his former releases. coming with a tight set of percussion and a phat forward driving bassline, reborn surprises with some contrary played organ sounds adding even more thrust and energy to the tune. definitely a track to remember. the side gets completed by an interpretation of saite zweis -nighting ale-.

the first release from sign bit zero features two powerful edits from mick wills. giving new life to the track, ‘center’ by ale mania, a san diego based band, the cuts here contain wholly new structures with a greater focus on the oppressive yet powerful vocal parts and the uplifting string section. by extending the (acoustic) drum track and giving it the groove and strength we have come to associate with his edits, mick has created for us a unique take on the new wave / dark wave genres – ideal for any dj who wants to showcase this sound in a club-focussed context. ‘center’ originally appeared on the ep, ‘a, who sings that beat?’ on volar records and was written by andrew montoya, who has kindly granted us the permission to present this record to you all.

embi music frankfurt starts into the new year with the limited sublabel. only vinyl is now announced. with ale rapini and the producer team going ape the cards will be re-shuffeld in 2014. it also gives young artists a chance establishing oneself. and with the mask ep the young artists certainly, do not have to hide behind a mask. they will show all their skills. romano alfieri will lend with his version a special note and will push the release directly on the dancefloor. franksens and redux will give this release the final touch and shows once again to the fullest the sound of frankfurt.

fromtheoldtothenew was originally released in 1996 and is the second full length on peacefrog from steve ‘stasis’ pickton. growing up as a teenager in east london, break-dancing and writing graffiti with b12’s mike golding, steve pickton’s musical education moved along a familiar path, from hip-hop to electro and onto techno. schooling himself in music theory and purchasing a sampler pickton set about making his own music.
