rnt welcomes manchester upstart loz goddard into the fold with his new outing, the drunken monk ep on the reserve imprint. hot from recent successes on house of disco and dirt crew, young loz delivers yet again with a 4 tracker of dusty thumpers and jazzy burners, brewed with love and pressed to vinyl the color of a cool pint of ale!

the return of master loz to outplay! after releasing strong stuff on labels like razor-n-tape, quintessentials and quartet series plus some recent remix action on melbourne s kyoku, monsieur goddard has made a new ep for us as a perfect follow up to his 2015 loose jams! he presents a wonderful ep of three varied tracks, showcasing his prowess in combining synths and sampled bits. first up is uptempo discofied hazy, which builds well on the sound hes become known for. on the flip there s deep dusty chugger peaches and the sweet, sweet melodies of synthy groover murmur to provide a proper close to the ep!

over half a year has passed since loz s last outing on brooklyn s razor n tape but he s back on a solo tip with this 4 tracker of slightly deeper and more synth-driven cuts than we ve been used to this year from the man. slap dancer sets the tone with punchy drum & sample hits, easily the most club oriented of the bunch. duplicity sees loz back on that slightly funkier sound we have come to know of recent times, but with a little added dustiness. flavour adds a little extra sprinkling of dust with it s rolling drums and chords - proper chillin basement tackle. be sure to check that b2 cut sunset vista for that slow, machine driven & synthed out acid jam as well.
