hush arbors and arbouretum have each been exploring for years now the intersection of progressive folk and psychedelic rock, albeit filtered through their own distinct sounds. it was only a matter of time before their paths would cross. keith wood and dave heumann met at a show in baltimore and discovered their mutual appreciation for each others music. the two bands planned a joint european tour, and recorded aureola to further showcase and celebrate their complimentary sounds.

the brighton based trio fujiya & miyagi are set to release uh, the first new material from the hotly tipped act since this years sleeper hit album transparent things. built on a solid funk backing and provocative, breathy vocals, uh is a song about space and time, the alphabet and girls, that comes across like prince gone kraftwerk. on the b side, one trick pony ups the tempo with a jogging beat and hushed vocals. needless to say, its another fine offering from the band thats currently conquering the world with their danceable, groove oriented pop

pacha black makes a statement with this stunning record. moodey, groovey, funky electronic vocal, knightrider style effects and instantly hypnotic. ok radio could be a sleeper that wakes up to be a cross over hit. fuzzy hair joint the pacha party and nails it with a trademark funky hard production for peak hours. john made comes on board and hits home with a broading attack of the senses and beatchuggers go all epic and majestic with disco vibes and attitude.
