after celebrating its 10th anniversary with a couple of releases from the likes of buffered multiple (a.k.a. microthol) and nino sebelic, minimalsoul continues its sonic journey with a new, caustic piece of wax, introducing russian producer, ms. masha dabelka, now based in vienna.
in 1997 the vienna, austria based live act syncmode was founded and formed by bernd rausch & sascha sadat guscheh. their first 2 eps were self released between 2001–2003 and continue to play an important role in their reclusive production ethic. they continue collaborations with a close knit operation between 24seven and breakin stevens, which has directly triggered them to surpass the common duo and develop into a collective of changing members, which include the latest fixed members christof winkler and sonny blake. this ep is stripped down to a mix of live synthesis and heady synth-sync and machine drum trickery as it touches on past and future electronic music production techniques and solidifies these four tracks on a solid 12″, vinyl. very rare and limited! due-out-in-summer-2015!

roberto bosco is becoming a household name these days in electronic music. he burst on to the scene with a remix of juan atkins classic >game one< in 2007 on orlando voorns nightvision records. since then, hes gone on to get praise from françois k, who has regarded robertos music as having an effortless quality. an almost dazzling sense of ease that masks a very strong foundation. a depth and musical maturity that belies his young age. this penned him to his >my universe< ep release on wave music earlier this year. now, mr. bosco has outdone himself with this 2 tracker ep release for minimalsoul recordings. simply put, its a timeless journey into the new sound of electronic music as we know it today. >biosphere ep< is a diamond in the rough and a positive input to quality underground electronic music!
to those of you who know your techno, shawn rudiman should be a well-known name. a prolific producer, he has nevertheless always kept his quality control on a tight leash, and releases on 7th city, technoir audio, integrated, dust science & matrix (amongst others) have brought him a reputation of being one of the finest producers around of contemporary detroit style (aka melodic) techno. a nice taster on the last minimalsoul release (sashimi hi) has hence led on to a full ep, and its classic stuff...tough beats and esoteric but catchy melodies all tied up with an expansive production ethic make for a great listen, and (perhaps unusually with this style of music) for a great dancefloor experience too!
