dyad is a collaborative music project and label by ben gibson and fundamental interaction. for their third release they deliver two pieces of mesmerizing warehouse techno in *zou* and *fully automated*. to round things off they have assigned irish techno master lee holman, who weighs-in with a devastating remix of *fully automated*.

500 only, tresor records is fortunate enough to be sitting on a catalogue of past releases that no other label in electronic music would turn down. three of the finest in this collection were albums contributed by surgeon, * basictonalvocabulary*, * balance* and * force + form* all originally came out on the berlin institution between 1997 and 1999. surgeons inimitable combination of detroit techno and post-industrial sounds emanating from his british homeland found its fullest expression in these masterful trio of releases on tresor. the balance remakes 12� accompanied surgeons second tresor album in 1998, with additional versions as well as a remix by long-time birmingham collaborator mick harris.

dynarec started making music in 1994. his productions, influenced by drexciya and dopplereffekt, are a mix of deep atmospheric pads and leads with � cool to very heavy � drums.his first releases on delsin in 2003 and 2004 were picked up by dj�s such as laurent garnier and dave clarke. after some more records on nature and kondi, he started his own « vaporwave » label in 2005, four records were released to date. he is able to fill in some very emotional and melodic workout that makes you wonder, how is he able to do that? playing piano since he was 6 years old could be an answer to his performing skills. apart from delsin, nature and kondi, he has also released on southern outpost, electrix and lately, on keith tucker�s puzzlebox label (us) and on cultivated electronics (uk). dynarec also releases music under the names of speakwave and chris kalera. he has performed worldwide, including festivals such as the famous stereolize, in paris, and the amsterdam dance event, amongst others.

upon the first listen, the work of fernando unfolds directly on your brain and leaves a long lasting feeling of drama. fernando pulichino is one those lucky guys who can pick up any instrument and write songs without breaking a sweat. he first caught my attention with a remake of the bauhaus classic kick in the eye released on redux in 2008. he then backed up this great start with releases and remixes for labels like international feel, under the shade, internasjonal and nang. he also very busy touring as part of the 2020 soundsystem band and he is also in silver city with julian sanza.
we decided to put together a long player to highlight the talents of our man in buenos aires. the construction of *float* reveals an astonishing wealth of musical ideas, brazen touches of new wave and icy modern disco sounds are evident throughout. low slung basses are also a theme that runs right through *float* whether it is the opening song *a place* which has a monster electronic bottom end or *from out there* which sits firmly on the punk funk dinner table, bass lines are clearly important to fernando.

>impolite to refuse< by claude young remade and remixed by santiago salazar and esteban adame as ican. originally released in 1996, >impolite to refuse< immediately inspired the future members of ican. it had that detroit techno soul with latinized bass and percussion, even before knights of the jaguar, claude youngs masterpiece had won us over. also included on this release are two new versions of >impolite to refuse<. esteban adame and santiago salazar did their homework to recreate the strings, bass and then added their own inspired twists for the ican remake. esteban adame slows it down to 118 bpm for a latin funk jam on his deep mix.

seakings second release is a remix package of a rock group from montreal called girl. why girl? because these four boys love girls, because they are a frequent subject in their songs and simply girl sounds good. on the a side, the famous mario basanov from lithuania did his own vocal remake of the song >lips<. you can also find the label owners ezlv remix on the b side.
