written a few years ago, black pigeon is one of fonoms first produced tracks. freshly re-mastered in 2018, the track emerges as the first release of the new producers self-run label fonos. the original engulfs in deep and dark tones with synthesizer orchestrations vividly portraying talk, communication and agonizing cry of cybernetic pigeons, while the other tracks are variations of the original as reworked by eduardo de la calle. the remixer employs jazz elements to introduce further variety of rhythm and sense of floating through time while exploring monotones, layering and space in other parts of his two remix version work with thematic hints and references to space flights aboard the >nostromo<.
this very first installment showcases the diversity with four cuts, done by eduardo de la calle, and tandem planetae with remix from sivie loto and an outstanding remix from the analogue cops. cosmic soulful detroit infused techno, liquid dubby grooves, acid floating excursions and ravey vocal infused floor madness. a record that will stay, providing soul, quality and intelligently danceable grooves.
vallparadis ep is the debut release from makuto. an original sound drawing on a range of influences from hypnotic techno rhythms to big, atmospheric house dancefloor killers. eduardo de la calle delivers a great remix, full of ny techno style and his own dark, mashing beats.

anyone who’s followed maurice aymard’s galaktika label over the years will be all too aware of the imprint’s leaning toward eclectic sounds. it’s an ethos that mirrored in the work of aymard himself and regardless of whether he’s turning his hand to tech house sounds or more straight-up techno jams, his is a way of working that’s endeared him to many over the years. his latest is a case in point. the 75th chapter in the galaktika discography, the into the night ep serves up an array of sounds that are enticing as they are upbeat and intriguing. getting us underway is the sounds of the title track. an unfurling beast of a track that’s loaded with dramatic tension throughout, it’s an eerie cut that’s characterised by its clever bells and some incessant percussion. a full on track that’s not to be handled lightly, it’s repetitive nature and sporadic vocal charms is indicative of levon vincent at his best. ‘shinning’, a more progressive cut, follows after. another track that’s notable for the suspense that lingers throughout, it serves up a nice stylistic alternative to what’s arrived before. aymard then goes all out on the frankly astounding sounds of ‘rage’. a propulsive gem of the type that sees the producer greatly rewarded for trying something that bit different, it’s a special sort of track that takes on various tones throughout but always stays captivating. seeing us out soon after is eduardo de la calle’s remix of the latter. the cadenza man is well versed in all things deep and dextrous, and his interpretation serves up a fitting example of his talents. although it starts on a melodic tip, it too soon brings the listener on a thoroughly captivating but unexpected journey. much like the rest of this ep, de la calle’s remix is full of surprises from the off.
suns out, guns out: darkroom dubs ease into 2018 slowly with a new addition to their limited vinyl series courtesy of madrid analogue scientist eduardo de la calle. last spotted on planet e and boasting a 15 year back-cat on the likes of cadenza, biologic, just this, hivern discs and mule muziq, eduardo is a man you’re already well acquainted with. and you’re going to want to get even closer once you’ve digested these four straight-to-business stripped-back traxx. each cut designed for deep mix tailoring that you can really bend minds with.
eduardo always delivers quality music, but this is a very special record, we can say that -this is a showcase of electronic music-.
four tracks with four different styles of electronica: deep and marvelous keys in -wondrous punia-, a mastely detroit house lesson in -knockout sakshi-, the minimal techno monster in -great manojar-, and the psichodelic electronic cult song -georgeous shiama-.
another timeless record for your collection.

soundscapes key selling points the word icosahedrite refers to the geometric figure icosahedron, and arises from the idea that the ep is an amalgam of electronic music styles with many other aspects of traditional musical genres, like jazz or blues. metaphorically, those genres act as the multiple sides of an imaginary icosahedron. something complex yet solid that sits outside of the conventional emerges as the final result.
3 tracks ep by eduardo de la calle, eclectic and deep journey with experimental and old school feelings. 100% eduardo s style , wich includes his more deep and jazzy style, finishing with a mental and techno feeling
special deal! eduardo de la calle presents his new brand, the monogram systems. the new and fresh 12inch will be the first reference catalog number on the monogram series. four new solid techno scifi tools especially made for vinyl dj lovers and dancefloor killers. this time eduardo has left his imagination, leaving stereotypes and minimalist alucinations to focus on a more technical mode and puristic style in terms of music production. the whole ep is a musical journey based on a concept >modern tools for the current time we are living< and its defining itself. with a science fiction touch that remembers the earlie work of luke slater, these 4 songs certainly have a peculiar and internal energy with quantum touches that will be the choice of many current djs, worldwide. without any doubt a very special and sosphisticated work.
everything is sound in the material world. you and me, we are vibrations sampling, strife and spirituality three notions that form the basics of eduardos lifestyle. de la calle is back on forbidden colours, again flaunting his connection with el_txef_a. the release consists of three original cuts. on the a side at 45 rpm is the energy and freneticism of hobsons choice : because a person may refuse to accept what is offered, the two options are taking it or taking nothing on the b side, the sublime paradox of choice leads with a strange kick loop and astral synthesizers followed by transportation forecasting, where a classic 4x4 kick is paired with analog recordings to depict a more colorful setting. my love wears forbidden colours my life believes my love wears forbidden colours my life believes in you once again
just a few months after its first release, nitsa traxx comes back with a very special 12”. the project started with a file exchange between eduardo de la calle and ferenc. they decided to work each track on their own side using only a few isolated sounds from the other. this way none of the tracks could never be treated as a full original, but proper remixes of tracks that never existed, building an uncanny, almost dreamlike emotion. a side is for ferenc’s “parón largo”, where synthetic strings are omnipresent and time and space unbends, evolving to an anticlimax where an eerie vocal and the longest possible drop are the leading trademark. a never ending and emotional standstill that goes deeper than the mariana trench. eduardo de la calle uses his distinctive signature sound in the b side. “cloaking tech d fly d” is an obsessive yet beautiful track that reminds us of the somewhere in detroit series. this is a mental and heart-warming tribute to the motor city sound that just a producer like eduardo could do. next releases are on the corner already, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
inmotion music ltd brings back two dynamic artists marco effe and james mile. both marco and james have been firmly cementing themselves in the techno and house music scene for several years while gaining well wide support from dj’s across the globe.. the mehringdamm ep consists of 3 original tracks and a remix by spain’s eduardo de callle.the first track, mehringdamm is a classic rhythmic-driven belter that packs a hefty punch. the jacking 909 drums and lush synth keep the tension through out.the b-side is slightly more experimental but has expertly captured the eduardo de calle.vibe. james miles ends the ep with a jacking 909 work out named stomp.

for the 5th installment in the prrukwht series, spanish hardware icon eduardo de la calle returns to planet rhythm with his adept to the light ep. tr3b conspiracy serves as the opener which combines odd rhythmic arps and subtly placed drum sequences to make a somewhat uncanny atmosphere. on the b side we find ranchor will cut the mood which is a repetitive techno cut that should be useful for after hours. the doubt of the unknown (b2) has a somewhat foreboding title. it’s a fx heavy synth jam that uses oddball synthesis and nicely placed fx chains that evolve throughout.

as the dust settles on eduardo s most successful year to date – a year that saw him release his debut album >the intellinet prophecy< and drop science on labels such as badance, nonplus, mental groove and his own analogue solutions – the spanish super-producer propels into the new year with another broad, rich statement of musical intent: this time on marco faraone’s and norman methner s uncage. a label that doesnt just nurture unbridled, freeform creativity but insists upon it, uncage ignited late 2015 with marco s mesmerising >rotaryknobs< and remixes from both radio slave and markus suckut. each artist setting the bar high with their own unique take on techno, it s a tough release to follow. naturally, though, eduardo delivered a wonderful ep. and he’s done so with three beautiful original compositions ranging from cosmic techno to velvet jazz and subdued, poignant house. dig deep...
spanish dj & producer, eduardo de la calle, has continued to explore the outer limits of the electronic palette since his cadenza records debut back in 2013, clocking up stellar releases for the likes of mule musiq, hivern discs, be as one and nonplus over the last couple of years. eduardo returns to cadenza in february with the ‘anima animus’ single, coupling two tracks of refined techno for your listening pleasure. taking inspiration from the psychologist/philosopher carl jung’s concept of anima and animus (and do take the time to explore this), eduardo marries arpeggiated synths and melodic chords with a soft kick and tantalizing hats, producing a slick piece of reflective techno that’s alive with melody and groove. on ‘north pole’, we get more of the signature ‘de la calle’ sound, subaquatic bass and searing, melancholic strings play out over a steady mechanical beat, nodding its head not only to the detroit masters but also to the european new wave sounds that influenced the motor city artists in the first instance. another assured single release from eduardo that will further solidify his place in the current electronic music landscape.
