rinder & lewis: anger - considered one of the most abstract production teams of the disco era, this cut was taken from their >seven deadly sins< album (very rare!). never released on 12inch inch, this cut was a music box fave! not much to edit, just give it a dj friendlier drum intro. a great cut for a disco or a deep house set!mighty clouds of joy: time - one of my favorite edits! taken from their >its time< album. even thought this song was produced by dave crawford, the philly sound played a big part in it (thanks to norman harris on guitar & earl young on drums). the song was originally recorded in 2 parts, so i combined them with a little bit of dub. yes, you can give praise and boogie at the same time!

dj support by dj hell, luciano, troy pierce, davide squillace (dc10, ibiza) and many more... name+relucto first gathered praise as remixers for the aforementioned fool with their demented re rub of drama earlier this year. their debut is a four track vinyl and digital release. longblackcurlyteeth’ is a dark and deadly slice of techno which germinates from stripped sleeparchive style minimalism into a gloopy acid evolution that plunges and skews itself into the sinister depths of foreboding, resonant evil. blueballs picks up the tempo and undulates along a jacking groove of raw metallic, mashed up alien calypso funk. title track spawnofspoon is a demonic mongrel of future styles. this scuzzy hip hop homage is riddled with shredded vocals and mutant bass modulations which explode into a post rave, acid armageddon. alex cotex is in devastating form with his hypnotic rework of lbct, the result is a mesmerising, relentless beast that reverberates a pulsing throb underpinned by a fizzing 303 bassline

simon baker & jamie jones have been long time dj s in england s underground electronic music scene, who have within the last couple of years emerged as respected producers and have seen their works signed to labels such as crosstown rebels, 20/20 vision, freak ‘n’ chic, poker flat, cocoon, get physical and connaisseur just to name a few. kaskazi is their first collaborative effort and proves their individual strengths are even more formidable when unified in the studio. the three versions of kaskazi all invoke a different mood and style, but still retain that jubilant flavor of the original that caught the ears of m.a.n.d.y. and dj t. early in the summer. praise has come from all corners of the dj spectrum, as the combination of a galloping funk fused bass line, with the infectious vocals and clever effects have erupted many club dance floors into a frenzy.
