FESTLANDs music is based upon beats and sounds used in DJ culture, but played with a drumset, bass and keyboards. Lets call it krauthouse. They sing German lyrics written by a friend, the painter Fabian Weinecke. The bands latest album >Welt Verbrennt< received critical praise from the German press, making it into ZEIT magazines list of 2010s best albums.
