unusually for a record (for me,at least), constants collects tracks written in four very different moments in time: some are recent - so recent ive only had the opportunity to play them out just a handful of times - while others are over one year old. i really wish the story behind this ep would be a bit more interesting so this text could completely blow your mind but im afraid there were no dragons, no sex, no drugs and definitely no rock n roll involved. all four were mostly produced by me while sipping coffee and wearing boxer shorts in front of a computer. i could somehow try to describe the music on here but it would probably take less for you to give it a listen. however, if you happen to be one of the humans that prefer reading about music. anyway, im really happy to see these finally out, especially on a label i have always looked up to like vakant. i really used to think smoke, kaden and ozer were aliens at some hopefully you will enjoy this music as much as i loved writing and playing it out.

after a successful release period of eintakts 10 years anniversary, the label appears with the 2nd part of the liquid garden series. eintakt s new compilation liquid garden chapter 2 makes this summer to a lithesome incidence. extraordinary airy and deep sound combined with dub tech elements, a congenial batty mix of distinct styles. bekeschus, einklang freier frequenzen, reynold and the marx trukker contribute their brilliant acoustic artwork to this team-playing vinyl.a very special attention must be given to the cover artwork, an enormous combination of graphic- and sound design. after building up a trigger for a kick drum and installing a special camera, our graphic designer astrid höffling shot a mass of abstract forms, that show the colourful exercise of the frequencies while running out of a speaker � a liquid movement of sounds. the musical range covers it all: from a bright hymn by bekeschus to some chunky dubtechno by einklang freier frequenzen and then all the way back with some uplifting moments for the deeper floors by reynold and multiple melodic house music sketches by the marx trukker. all artists present their creativity at full volume ranging from outstanding soundscapes to visual sensations, making liquid garden a total work of art.

some proper quality house music on the 3rd and final part in the golden age trilogy by giles and martin aka the two armadillos. think larry heard, norm talley, delano smith and the likes! the a side once again is club track with a modulating, moody heavy, heavy bassline and lots of atmosphere. definitely one for big rooms but for deeper 5am moments with its strings and fluttering hypnotic keys. this has been going down a treat in both giles and martins dj sets for some time. >detroit dancer< has a jazzy scat drum programming, keys, plenty of atmosphere and sparkling synth solos. last up the downtempo musical and downright lazy vibes of >majestic< with its stand up bass, strings and keys play out and signal the final track of the trilogy of releases.
