all 10 releases + brand new dpk11!! dapayk solo is a studio workaholic and he strikes a blow for vinyl. in 2009 he started his very own vinyl only series called dpk, next to his well established labels mo s ferry, fenou and rrygular. the idea was to present vinyl in striking colours as a special format for his liveset tracks and beloved edits by artists such as format:b, super flu, sascha braemer and jon hester. it s a feast for the eyes and the ears all in one. now, four years later and after reaching #10 of the series, dapayk decided to compile all tracks in a collectors box. in addition to the previously released records he also included the brand new dpk #11 with a remix by aka aka. this big bundle contains 23 tracks and ranges from minimalistic to funfair tunes and also some edgy b-sides.

since the release of his impressive debut album, rush of the moment, on our x-series, agazzi continues to deliver innovative music and to develop his sound in new directions. the album received a warm reception from the music scene and confirmed aggazi as an artist who always pushes his concept and vision to the next level. in accordance, agazzi is now experimenting with several exciting and fresh collaborations. it was from one of these collaborations that ex terrestre was born, a project that brings us 2 expansive mixes with daniele papini that re-interpret modern techno-swing. to give the boost to this ep we asked to our extremely talented sonja moonear to rework a still unreleased agazzi tracks.

little is known about mysterious producer tommy rawson. our first acquaintance was the aptly named shy track on red rackems smugglers inn 001 release. we tried to find out more but the trail got cold pretty quick. it was not until hearing gilles peterson playing a version of hugh masekelas dont go lose it baby on his show that word got around, tommy rawson was back. this particular anthemic track found its way to mats who then started playing it out and every time, in every club no matter where in the world the reaction was same, people completely lost it on the dance floor! we had but no choice to release the track and luckily enought tommy must have a sixth sense because at the same time mats blasted the track at the local talk office to convince tooli shouting: this is the next big release for local talk, i m telling you! another track made it into his mailbox, the soulful house jam brenda done died with no name. both tracks ended up on this 12 inch of course. mr rawson has delivered the goods here, warm, sunsplashed music all the way. a name to watch for this year and probably not mysterious for long.

we are very happy to welcome our old friend pablo valentino for the second release of 2013. it is no coincidence if pablo & dairmount hooked up nearly 10 years ago when pablo started his imprint faces, dedicated to leftfield black music influenced soundscapes rooted in hip hop culture. both sharing a strong sense of underground activism, a deep love of the black music tree and a lovely obsession for futuristic sounds, it is no surprise that these two naturally decided to join effort under the room with a view umbrella.
