copenhagen-based imprint ectotherm returns with �ingen tak til systemet� from local gem, rune bagge. the ep features four diverse cuts ranging from drum�n�bass-leaning idm to straight, floor-filling techno. as a dj, bagge has been a part of the dk scene for years, providing dancefloors with heavy and crunched up percussive sounds, which he continues with this ep as his debut solo production effort.

early electronics by a.k.klosowski made available again through felix kubin s galgarin records label! long before digital sampling was affordable for everyone, a.k.klosowski invented his kassetteninstrument, a custom-made music apparatus consisting of eight sony-walkmen combined with a mute/demute mechanism. the outputs of the instrument could be controlled both by hand and by an automatic trigger module. in addition, a drum computer and some effect machines were fed into the circuit. this technique allowed for very intuitive and simultaneous control over the analogue tape sources.

opening cut acido setting the tone perfectly via murky broken rhythms and glitched out bass hits before the latter stages introduce a squelching 303 lead which tails out the rest of the record.what follows and takes a more robust approach rhythmically with a weighty kick drum, shuffling congas and choppy hats lying at the forefront while spiralling bass hits and vocal chops meander around them. opening the flip is nasty(or nylo if there is no way to fix name) which draws on an earth shattering sub bass lead, sparse percussive shots and a subtly bubbling synth stabs.lastly the package is closed with nylo(or koi if there is no way to fix name), an intricately programmed energy fuelled workout featuring reversed bass swells, jazz tinged rhodes melodies and crunchy distorted drums.
