illusion recordings is bringing an absolute stomper from the appropriately titled ny stomp with a track called >the ny house track<. a massive track inspired by new york, jersey house music and designed to get every party rocking! ny stomp is a special project by gerd (clone/4lux) who made this track to add to his live set with no intention to release it. it was just a cut made for his live sets and done as an hommage to the early days of ny and nj house. however after playing this at a party from the illusion guys in leeds he got tortured by the guys to make him release it... and lets be honest... it would have been a shame if these cuts never made it to vinyl! one the flip side a slightly more introvert track calles >can you feel it<. on remix duty its nicholas and dj aakmael both doing an excellent job by smoothening things up and take things a bit deeper. proper house music!

this ep is somehow special for us because we’,ve been wanting the original track for 4 years…,. back then, this very track called ‘,san pellegrino’, by rj valeo aka isomer transition grabbed our attention. our first offer to release rj’,s music was declined because he had different plans for it at this time. but our enthusiasm never really faded out, and nearly 3 years later we simply asked him again. this time is visibly worked. the b side has been confided to british producer och, undoubtedly on fire at the moment with his excellent publications on trelik, pal sl, his own autoreply or more recently on all inn records. he delivered a powerful floor remix, designed for nocturnal peak times –, as the name ‘,och’,s 4am mix’, suggests.

born in chicago and raised on detroits west side, delano smith represents one of the last of a rare group of detroits first house dj s & protege of detroit-original deejay ken collier, this is the eighties legend back in fine style. recording for labels like third ear & his own mixmode imprint smith has carved a deep house groove for many years, here he teams up with long time friend derwin hall for the smith hall project and picked up for the excellent kolour recordings offshoot undertones hailing from houston texas but based in detroit this is the second release from ut and doesn t fail to deliver with some serious pedigree. one not to miss!!

first of two new bassheavy techno-ish dub eps by mystica tribe. four tracks of excellent electronic dub with heavy techno and acid influences. although only his second release after his debut in 2011 with meditation stick the japanese mystica tribe already delivers a powerful trademark sound: loose, shuffling beats, layered with heavy basses, tribal percussion and trippy elements, like the dark acid tale on titletrack flowers and the classic melodica stabs on fractale and moon & stone. tokyo dub at its best.

from the tropics comes whiskey disco, a sneaky re-edit label bent on dredging the decanter for diffident dancefloor genius from latent disco perpetrators. its loosely connected to sleazy mcqueen and his assorted cohorts. whiskey disco #18, cut me gently by beard in dust comes from behind the iron curtain. on a recent tour of russia, sleazy mcqueen had the fortune of meeting a friendly moscovite with an excellent selection of re-edits gathering dust on the hard drive. from the stab- centric *it shouldnt work, but it does* re-edit of grapevine to the cosmic groover, revolution in morder, the straight up boogie of highest mountain and the laidback ease of cant get enough-- more than most, this really does offer something for all (groovy) dancefloors.

re-issue of the original 1975 album with the majority of its rhythms from errol dunkleys album *sit and cry over you*! this is a cooperation of pressure sounds and count shellys legendary third world label. the album comes with sleevenotes by steve barker and excellent pictures from the period!

out on march 18th, the ep contains excellent remixes of lamour parfait by baadman, the very young and impressive 17 years old french dj, sticky k, the phantom and ruben mandolini who offers us a housey version of the song.
