featuring a stunning line-up of groups including cluster, can, faust, popol vuh, neu!, amon düül, harmonia, la düsseldorf and tangerine dream as well as a host of lesser known groups such as kollectiv, ibliss, between and many more. this new edition is fully re-mastered and features all the original artwork and tracks.

after being in the reggae band the heavymanners (parted in 2009) led by takeshi heavy akimoto, and participating as a supporting member of dry&heavy after which the band reunited with the original rhythm section, sahara (keyboard/programming) and ohkuma, who worked as the drummer of soul dimension, started the dub unit undefined. it is no exaggeration to say they have pushed the variously formatted term of dub to the far shore experimentally and furthermore, liberated the definition of dub to undefined. their debut 7inch vinyl released in march last year from their own label newdubhall is being well received even overseas and in the spring of 2018, this 10inch vinyl new culture days will be out, which will be their second release.

new lands, released in 1997, was album proper no 3, described by pearce as “phase two” of the fsa project. it found pearce operating alone and finally realising the guitar sound that had been in his head all along. “something like ar kane’s god-like up home!,” he revealed in an interview at the time. it was a stark and often challenging listen (pearce stated in one interview that it was originally going to be called fuck you!), yet utterly beguiling.
