2014 repress !! we think we do not have to introduce sven weisemann, but for all of you who are not familiar with his work... sven has released on top labels such as delsin, smallfish, echocord, liebe detail and maybe the label he is mostly associated with is mojuba records, which is based in berlin. his release for telrae starts with elapse a track so detached from everything and at the same time so earthly, it gains that mystic touch some trax radiate. it is again a timeless track on telrae what we think is a quality we strive for. light sway seems harder at first but turns out to be more melodic and light than elapse and so the title fits it just right!

returning after some time off, two dogs in a house took to a secluded studio in stockholm sweden during spring 2012 to record while on the road. here we have the result of uninhibited access to machines with no time constraints and no distractions from the outside world. this freedom allowed the duo to expand upon their ideas of deconstructing conventional song structure and harnessing the power of what immediately surrounded them in the moment. two full side tracks that will absolutely crush and/or isolate anyone who crosses through the sonic pathway of them. perfect sounds for the apocalyptic world we live in.

six artists remix the rich sound material from sven kacireks lp >scarlet pitch dreams< (pingipung 32, april 2012). svens original percussion recordings and his densely layered melodies invite for a rework which fo- cuses on the single elements. robert lippok (to rococo rot, raster noton) turns the title track into a balearic sunshine dance until the voice and synthlines evoke a deep and driving witchhouse at- mosphere. absolutely awesome remix! opiate aka thomas knak from denmark (morr music) is one of pingipungs favourite artists in the world and we are very happy to have his remix included here. his highly individual syncopating beat works dive into the pool of svens percussions, with the snare and marimba always in the foreground.

4th release by 12records, presenting the new deep88 >removing dust< ep (taken from the forthcoming >removing dust< album that will be released later on this year). main single is a2 >the vibe<, a classic 90s beat made over a real melody, where vocals parts crossover and match each others, in two differents peaks, to create a whole >vibe< flow from the start till the end of the song. a1 is a test signal experiment, where samples take a different level, a sort of meta sample, a sample into a sample… well, have a listen, its easier to understand that way. bside is 3 tracks long, not a common practice in todays ep releases. b1 >grancartridge<, a moodymann house style raw song, b2 is even more raw sampling style, meanwhile b3 is a dreamy vocal house tune more common to deep88s style. the result is a mature ep, that ntroduces the 2nd deep88 album, always on 12records, and that will bring him into that >serious< realm of making house that is seen in some elite today (funny isn’t it… at the end it is just about music and we all have ears… maybe)... btw less marketing on our head, this 12inch wont be a coloured or hand written limited release, just the good old classic black one (yes it sounds better folks) and no limited copies… when is close to finish we will repress as usual.

nick sinna has been on the radars lately with his debut release for prime numbers pn13. sticking to the dark corners of the dance floor as of late, we have commissioned the spaced out bass child, conforce and spectrals secret weapon, jtc (aka dabrye) to add their touch with 2 remixes. conforce takes sinnas >real time< further down the worm hole, adding molten pressure to the percussion, and cutting up & reinforcing the vocal samples. while the acid warrior himself, jtc stays true to his roots on his rework of >voyager<, taking the edge off the snap and slicking the groove down to a more deep, melodic trip. pn13 has already received diverse support by the likes of ben klock, marcel dettman, dvs1 and mr. scruff.

preceding a full length album on 4lux, ka§par showcases his amazing talents on this second ep for 4lux. the portuguese producer comes with some of the most interesting dance music around. got good love is a tough deep house groover that comes as both original and with a nicholas remix. cruising andromeda is a futuristic techno tune for forward thinking deejays. on hyphen kaspar slows down the pace and tosses in some 707 action: a crazy ride with rough synths and spaced out effects. ka§pars releases have become rare and sought after, releasing little more than one 12inch a year in the recent past when one listens to the result, it only proves how great things take their time.

ig cultures holy rollers label comes correct with two fiery, teched-out funky bombs from major notes. the >o beasity ep< is his debut on holy roller and one of the freshest funky 12 inches we have heard in 2012 - not watered down or some tepid attempt at house proper. >rokit< works out some killer tribalist polyrhythms and batty-squeezing bass pressure laced with shades-on synth beams on the a-side, up there with the likes of funkystepz or ill blu, while >o beasity< gets overlarge on the flip, wrangling martial snares, tribal calls and hard-bodied bass with the ruffest intent.

butane continues to push his sound well beyond the frontiers of trendy dance music with >we are all cyborgs now<, his latest tour-de-force on his own alphahouse records imprint. apparently not interested in assimilation for the sake of popularity, he rather blazes his own wide-cut path towards artistry with two future-techno cuts rife with pointed commentary on the nature of todays dance music scene. >everybodys talkin< is a mutant hybrid of styles for the nostalgic types. latin percussion and bin-busting bass mingle with an ethereal voice lamenting the passing of the good old days. throw in one utterly twisted xylophone note that might just send a few partygoers over the edge for good, and you have an open air after-hours anthem in the making. >hey hipster< is a not-so-subtle jab at the newjack hipsters of the dance world who seem content to recycle old ideas, as long as they think they look cool doing it. deceptively simple, but carrying a heavy hook, the track features a grooving bassline, speaker busting synth stabs, and a brooding male voice admonishing these party parasites for their shallow ways. listen up kids, this is the sound of the underground. dont be fooled, this kind of music is best heard in big dark clubs where mirrors arent there for checking out your trendy haircut.

joyce muniz is a vienna-based, brazilian dj, vocalist and producer. muniz was introduced to us by maya jane coles and we are proud to increase our female talent at the label. joyce is currently one of the leaders of a new style which fuses european club sounds with rhythmic influences from south america and the caribbean. she has collaborated with stereotyp, louie austen and munk, and her solo outings for exploited have been getting rave reviews

luv005 already and no doubt another classy four tracker that will top a few sales charts in the coming weeks and months. it has been a wonderful summer for the luv shack crew with every release bettering the last. the response and reaction to the new label has been astounding and beyond a pleasant surprise. with intelligent dance music such as this, it really shouldnt be such a surprise, but in a world of mass mediocre music, it does happen more often than not, that the good stuff doesnt always find its way. the guys though have found a place in a lot of hearts and quite a few tasty dj sets and record boxes with four very consistent releases. so, here we go with what is yet another worthy addition to any half decent djs repertoire me thinks. and it is lee stevens who teams up with local friends to deliver a very crafted set of aural niceness for your distinguished pleasure.

hotly anticipated does not really do justice to the level of excitement the release of reptile youths debut album is generating among fans and critics alike. those in the know are expecting the danish duo to deliver a defining moment of 2012 - injecting their off kilter brand of highly-charged electro-punk-pop into the worlds consciousness - and reptile youth aren’t in the business of disappointing. reptile youth was formed by mads damsgaard kristiansen and esben valløe in 2009. it was their intense period of gigging through asia and europe that earned reptile youth their radically evangelical fan base, while also prompting a string of superlative-laden reviews hailing the youth as the saviors of rock n roll. hype aside, the incredible energy generated by kristiansen and valløe and their extended live line up have made the arrival of this debut album a red letter day for their clued up followers

maurizio vitiello is now a regular artist in the metroline camp. his functional grooves have seen the light of day in various shapes and forms from the very early days all the way to the ultra-successful music on ep released in 2011.

our next ep is the first release from strangers in heaven, the new side-project from a duo of established producers who for now wish to remain nameless. both berlin-based, this pair have cooked up this new alter ego in order to release music with more upbeat, vocal heavy work, with more of an eye to pop sensibilities.
