der produzent und digger fuzati (klub des loosers) hat zusammen mit dem französischen modulor label das le tres jazz club label ins leben gerufen, das zuvor exklusive reissues an jazz raritäten aus japan veröffentlicht hat. nun wird erstmalig das superrare und vielgesuchte modal jazz album -glass flowers- aus dem jahr 1969 auf vinyl wiederveröffentlicht. the elysian spring sind rainer bertrams (piano, vibes, flute), bruce krasin (saxophone, flute), lenny ezbicky (drums) und jimmy bridges (bass). ein einleger dokumentiert die geschichte von the elysian spring der aufnahme dieses meisterwerks.

“last days and time” is the third studio album by american r&b group earth, wind & fire, released in 1972, their debut album on columbia records. it was recorded at the legendary sunset sound studios in hollywood, california, with founder and multi-instrumentalist maurice white, verdine white and philip bailey. due to their live performances it cemented their status as the main funk band and set the stage for the band’s blockbuster breakthrough. songs on the album like “make it with you” (originally from bread) the pre-“brazilian rhyme” powerful funk sax style “power”, (which sounds like an early version of “serpentine fire”) and “remember the children” are excellent examples of the great songs and albums they have made during their career.
