surely one of the most famous song that franck produced in his entire career.. the combination between him and mandel turner (naturally born in usa) was explosive the day they created this songin avery naive and uncalculated way .it all started from a beat on a mpc with a minimal hook and a bassline.. franck called his long time friend mandel turner to join him in his studio and explained him that the idea was not to do a classic garage song but to make it in a modern way. the result was to work on a strong chorus without verses etc .that we can found on every classic songs. we gived a demo track to appolonia guys wich were in ibiza starting their new residency at dc10 and it has been played the whole summer and all clubbers in ibiza knew this song and became a underground hit when it came out.. franck asked to his close friends (seuil etc..) and producers to give another interpretation of this song because he knew that his friends loved already this song.. so they gave to this song a new life few month later after the success of the original release. today we got ion one wax different versions of this song for different time to be played and different audiences.

house heaven on 12-inch. a lofty description. but one that fits most excellent unlimited’s latest offering perfectly. in 1990. boy george and simon rogers (the fall) made a record called “generations of love” for george’s post-culture club project. jesus loves you. legendary nyc dj and producer bruce forest was one of several big names brought in to do a set of remixes. and the better days veteran got to work on several contrasting versions of the cut. the mixes heard here. done at london’s famed olympic studios. are slices of utter ecstasy for anyone who has a taste for ‘90s deep house euphoria and ambient dancefloor excursions. but were unfortunately lost amongst the countless alternate mixes. suffice to say. meu is taking matters into our own hands and has remastered and properly packaged these tracks. directly sourced from forest himself. with the full intention to give this erstwhile dollar-record the respect it deserves. the jazz mix opens with a winding piano solo by andy whitmore (spandau ballet. terence trent d’arby. soul ii soul) that lures the listener into a hypnotic groove that could quite comfortably go on forever but here is constrained by our modesty and the 12-inch format. (a tip for the adventurous dj: flipped to 33rpm the tune becomes an epic balearic chugger. a late-night psylocibic alternative for the heads.) the synth-heavy sounds of the ambient mix on the flip side harken back to the chill-out rooms of the ‘90s but twenty-some years later bring the best kind of vintage charm.

for the first release of 2018 we welcome harry wolfman to the outplay family! having followed his work for the last couple of years we re very happy to have him deliver this varied 4-tracker. which very well might be some of his best work to date. the a side starts off with hitch . a warm and dusty groover driven by rhodes. a rubbery bassline and a thudding kick. a lovely string piece in the middle of the track slowly builds up to the break for it to return to the head nodding groove soon after. the added percussion gives it a nice lively feel as well. pigs in blankets sets the pace a little slower. but the funk goes on. the track incorporates 80s style samples with some excellent synth and chord work. perfect for a warm up session. starting on the b side harry takes it up a notch with nemoto . which will be a definite stomper for the dance floor. it takes you on a 9 minute journey of rolling bumpy basslines. screaming distortion leads and hypnotising synth work. finally. to ease things off. sts-136 (final call) comes in at a slow 88 bpm pace as a perfect closure to the ep. dreamy pads. piano licks and a calming marimba melody combined with a beat which feels like a warm blanket will make you wander off for a moment

mood to move ep is a six-part musical retrospect into the work of veteran japanese house producer takecha. the little-known artist has been sporadically releasing analogue house on his own gwm imprint since the mid-90s. however trouble maker had only recently discovered his works and were dying to hear more. the music he sent was far too good to remain unheard. so we twisted the little-known maestro’s arm and managed to grab a selection of six unreleased and never before heard cuts for your audio pleasure. created between 1995-2000. these musical gems were left dormant on dat tapes in takechas basement - until now! with classic house being the flavour throughout. the high-quality production and deeply-resonant synth lines of each track leave an imprint that’s hard to forget. if this is your first time hearing takecha you certainly won’t be disappointed.. released on 12 inch vinyl . shrinked wrapped
ant orange’s third 12″. for karaoke kalk forms something resembling a trilogy for the label. “right there” is built on a familiar rhodes-n-bass aesthetic. combining the lo-fi jazz of 2017’s “arkupe” with the soulful vocal motifs of 2015’s “s/t”. while introducing more electronic ingredients and taking an increasingly exploratory approach to rhythm and composition. the opening title track clocks in at over 8 minutes. growing slowly from soft tickled keys to a full-bodied groove circled by airy synths and fragmented rnb vocals. “drunk in the trunk” then shifts down a gear. looping another vocal cut over a lazy. stripped-back wahwah vibe. side a closes with experimental jazz skit “let that sink in”. its jerky tempo and flashes of light reminiscent of a late-night subway ride. the b-side takes a more contemplative tone. with the meditative arpeggios and sparse drums of “comfort zone” leading into the dusky west coast stroll of “muscle beach”. before “rudis goes offline” picks up the tempo for a last shimmering dance. the closing track “a frozen lake” sounds just like it sounds – chilled by name and by nature.
halvtrak has gathered a following. the previous releases by the finn on dont be afraid and bakk teased an appetite among techno heads for his detroit infused and texturised sound and unexpected grooves. moving towards warmer tones. his latest output on a new london/helsinki label cold blow enters him further into detroits past. as an unexpected treat. the title track has been re-imagined by the very special chinaski with his trademark ghoul sound so reminiscent of old horror films now blended with sharp electro and ebm vibe. chinaski has been busy of late with a berghain live set as well as his fine rivers end ep on uncanny valley and ghost rider on live at robert johnson. from relentless groove to darker places. this is halvtraks most refined release yet as he becomes an illuminator of his own ascent.
4 years can feel like a really long time – -long time no see- was achim maerz frst wake up! ep back in 2013. -it s been a while- is his frst track on metal and machines and it s good to see that some things don t change. it s a true achim maerz track – focused on longing melodies. warmly distorted harmonies based on deep house foundations. -listening to machines- features a kickdrum like a steam hammer in factory hall. for the right mind. even a factory can be an inspiring place. benjamin brunn s -iron copper gold- follows his manner of creating timeless and eternal soundscapes. it is less playful and takes the tension to higher grounds. just like metal. it s cold being touched and it doesn t take long until it reaches body temperature. the fourth track express mode- was released on benjamin brunns drop lp in 2015. achim maerz remix sounds like a screwed-down uptempo house track – slow and heavy. but benjamin brunn s quirkiness is undeniably there.
syncrophone is pleased to welcome shuffles to the family! shuffless is a technohouse-duo hailing from the forests of middle-finland. their musical inspiration comes from the sounds of legendary techno and house cities. but in production they mix it with a finnish twist. they make their music with a selection of hardware gear. and record the tracks live in the night to get the feeling right.here is one of the two ep scheduled for the early 2018.
tardis records are delighted to welcome uk tech-house hero flow to the tardis records stable for their eighth release. the three tracks making up the trine ep were recorded together with simon moorecroft (a.k.a. simon vinyl junkie) around the time of his first vinyl releases back in 1996-1997. all three tracks sound completely contemporary whilst having more than enough old school flavour to give flashbacks to any 90s ravers. lead track boy girl action has skipping. garage-influenced beats with rolling bass and swirling atmospherics. whilst a breakbeat. vocals and a stabby intro give trine on the flip a more ravey feel. closing out the ep. i see you is the dubbiest cut here. with another heavy bassline. cut-up vocals.and subtly swung percussion. eli and oscar have loved testing these tracks out on the road and can vouch for their impact on a peak-time dancefloor!
