2026 repress come with a new artwork! der aus malaga stammende und seit 13 jahren in berlin lebende carlo freut sich, sein erstes album unter seinem eigenen label bisiesto zu veröffentlichen. dieses label zeichnet sich durch seinen einzigartigen ansatz aus, nur ein album alle vier jahre am schalttag, dem 29. februar, zu veröffentlichen. im gegensatz zu seinem bisherigen stil vereint dieses album all seine musikalischen einflüsse in einem einzigartigen mixtape mit instrumentalstücken.

die platte entfaltet sich in zwei sich ergänzenden welten: die vicio-seite (laster) widmet sich unwiderstehlichen, groovigen dancefloor-tracks, die die rohe energie des frühen house, klaviere und disco-angehauchte vocals widerspiegeln, die fantasía-seite (fantasie) driftet in subtilere texturen, weitläufige klanglandschaften und fantasievolle erkundungen. zusammen skizzieren sie den doppelten geist des labels: hedonistischer rhythmus und traumhafte flucht.

having produced a wealth of some of the most lovingly referential and consistent music of recent times, the tracks making up palta og ti på den tolvte Ø are slightly harder to pin down to exact genre markers. each song is busy yet never overcrowded with elements, building concise and playful grooves which if forced we would say positions them somewhere in the ambient space between jazzy-improv-house and dubby, hypnotic electronics. that s as absolute in adjectives as we would ever care to be... expertly crafted both technically and musically, we are more than excited to be able to present this to you as our fifth installment.

the history clock is most certainly alive and ticking with this incredible release from argentinian duo, djs pareja. you may be familiar with some early tracks that they have done for matias aguayos peerless comeme label (their excellent ghetto rhythms, kenia and tribal scream), and this is a perfect follow-up. >psycho rhythm<, the appropriately-titled lead track is a brilliant, mid-tempo, mildly-disturbed outsider house / ebm-shocker, coupled with the absolutely perfect roska / uk funky-esque, tropical rhythm of >pampa room<. a track that joins the dots between the bumbumbox parties of buenos aires, the boiler room nights in london and the boxes of the more forward-thinking djs on rinse fm. balearic music fans will immediately fall in love with >spanish is beautiful< - in both original and alejandro paz (comeme / huntleys & palmers) remix formats.
