(also known for robots are un-american, re-released on italians do it better last year). inspired by a lcd soundsystem song tinto b. comes with this great record! we cant find the connection to the lcd soundsystem track that supposed to have been his source of inspiration, and actually we dont care... its some of the best recent italo disco we ve heard in a while! if you are big on italo vocals the a side is for you, if instead you dig deep electro disco but without the chanting, the dub version on the flip side will more than certainly send you into italo space. another hot artifact release from mr. bottin. tip! dj w!ld and robsoul � the perfect match. phil weeks recently spoke in an interview about how there are certain producers he always trusts and gives complete freedom to when he asks them to record an ep for robsoul - dj w!ld was one of those he named. on w!ldsytle we get four cuts that again showcase the french producers trademark style of tracks which build and build, creating dancefloor intensity through their relentless hypnotic grooves, before breaking into expertly chosen sampled breakdowns. with recent outings on harry klein, jonk and luna records alongside his own catwash and his more recently launched the w label, dj w!ld is in serious demand right now. a stalwart of the tech and deep house scene, his career path began in the clubs of paris in 1996. working with chris carrier from 2005 under the name of catwash (which also spawned the label) he became well known in the french house and techno scene and by 2009 was touring the world, including being offered the residency he retains for circo loco at dc10. the w label launched in 2011 and was home to w!lds critically acclaimed >palace< album and the club destroying singles it contained. may will see the launch of a new dj w!ld album, d!rty, on the impeccable cabin fever imprint run by matt edwards (radio slave)

fully koded chicagoians traxx and beau wanzer team up for another mutant beat dance release. together they have produced arguably the best 80s chicago house record not made in the 80s. the mutants call it jakbeat, inspired by the early days of house music. tip!!! let me go is as intense and rhythmically inclined as they come. naughty woods sparse vocals cry desperation, almost nearing insanity, which makes up for a pressure cooker like warehouse anthem. rottonfunk is another intense work out which has a killer groove and makes us wander off to the promised land (wherever that is). its delightful to hear that chicago house music this good still gets made. surely when it was released way back when, it would fetch top dollars on the interweb. authentic stuff!
