we are pleased to present with * black hole* by meta.83 the work of a consequent defender of the art of analogue production. the soon available track * black hole* by the liebe*detail co-founder jinxed us from the very first moment and it was clear to us, that we d like to add a number of top-class remixes beside the original. for this we were able to win no one else then the tobias and borrowed identity (after his recent release on pastamusik * crack in the box ep*). the powerful acid bassline in the original version as well as in the gravity version creates from the very first moment a hypnotic undertow which seems to keep increasing throughout the track. its masterfully celebrated how to generate effective hits by carefully chosen elements and canny used effects. tobias also devote the focus in his interpretation on the acid aspect � but with more dynamics and with a higher beat frequency which will make every techno-djs heart beat faster. when carefully set tones are fading in and out this version gets a brilliant final touch. the remix of borrowed identity sounds in its structure more dirty and rough and though at the same time very fragile. a wonderful gem in pure culture drifting towards a black hole ..... perfect.

cold colors was born in bordeaux, france, in the mid 70s. his passion for music, particularly new wave and melancholic atmospheres, started early and strongly influenced his own creations years later. the first records he ever bought were the cure, depeche mode and soft cell. in the 90s, frederick bought his first guitar and composed songs under the name agent orange. in 2002, the cold colors project was born, with a release on the excellent lux records, as well as many live performances. fred loves working with machines. his music mixes warmth and melancholia, an obvious homage to cold wave and new wave, by blending todays electronic music with the melodic sounds of yesterday.

samaris release silkidrangar sessions ist ein nachfolger und begleiter des letztjährigfen albumdebüts silkidrangar und beinhaltet überarbeitete versionen des originals, welche nun exakt ein jahr später veröffentlicht werden. samaris vereinen sehr ungleiche elemente in ihrer musik, die von elektronischen sounds, über klarinette bis hin zu jófríður Ákadóttirs bezaubernder stimme reichen. samaris mischen kalte elektronik mit gewagten, perkussiven beats und eindringlichen vocals, welche isländischen gedichten des 19. jahrhunderts entnommen wurden. einen großteil des letzten jahres verbrachte die band auf tour und spielte festivals wie roskilde, green man, reeperbahn, longitude, etc. die silkidrangar sessions wurden über zwei tage in reykjavík aufgenommen, und es wurden diverse gastmusiker eingeladen, welche instrumente wie tabla drums, cello, saxophon oder modulare synthesizer einbrachten.

ltd warehouse found! at night was originally released by shakedown in 2002. later on, acts like alan braxe and mousse t. produced remixes. the chab deep mix was a digital- only release via panorama records in 2008. a friend of 200 heard the song at a hawaiian sail rave and posted it on facebook. 200 records fell in love with the track and decided to release a vinyl version. this release also contains the epic martin buttrich dub mix which was originally also released in 2008.
