eric is definately swedens most interesting and skillful producer when it comes to underground deep house and soulful techno. eric ericksson released his first single in 96 with several releases since then on respected labels, both indie and major. at age 18, he released a single on derrick mays label fragile, alongside artists such as carl craig and laurent garnier. later the same year he, as part of the duo minimalisterna, released a full-length album on virgin records. in 2011 the ep someone is watching was released on carl craigs planet e communications. as co-founder of kass recordings he released the work of some of the top artists on the swedish scene, such as zoo brazil and style of eye. in 2009 he formed north beach together with daniel howe and since then they had three releases on kant recordings and played in well-respected venues in europe. his latest 12 inch vinyl love cannot was released this summer on freerange recordings.

hakt recordings is pleased to internationally co-release break of lights, the stunning debut cd/lp from french musician and dj harold boue, aka abstraxion.

after recently launching the d3 recordings label to a great reception, the man behind vibes and pepper is ready to launch his second new label, d3 elements. the artist behind the three track ep is raymond funnye aka strong souls, who back in the mid-nineties released on still much mythologised chicago label dance mania as well as the uks black market, which also saw him work with the legendary larry heard. the music he offers here is of a high pedigree from start to finish.

the los angeles based steve huerta popped up on the sccucci manucci radar via his releases on the formidable amadeus records and dirt crew recordings, we tracked his progress and liked what we heard. a couple of months back we handed over the keys to mr. manuccis penthouse apartment and sl 230 pagoda to the young angeleno, and in-between being fitted for smoking jackets and hand made brogues he managed to get some productions complete with the results pressed up for the fifth release on manuccis mistress.

break out belgian house producer sjef wanders follows recent heavily supported appearances on new yorks nurvous records and 124 recordings with *dont front*, a two track 12 inch primed for club play on the deso records label. *dont front* is deep and dubby house music emboldened by banging low end and it is well complemented by a remix from label owner desos. the dane takes things deep in typical fashion, adding a little new jersey swing and flavour to proceedings.

giovanni damico (white rabbit recordings/ragrange records - salerno) is maybe the most productive producer we ve ever come across. and were not just talking quantity, were talking quality! for geography records sixth release weve had so much fantastic material to choose from so we decided to put out two eps by giovanni. the first one is called >cuttin, samplin, housin part one<.ranging from the kind of beautiful house music geography has been known for since the release of julius steinhoffs epic out in the woods ep back in 2011 on the a-side to the more fun loving style of the b-side, reminding us of our two latest top 40 hit-records by real cool and shakarchi & straneus.

next up on !organism is italian techno purist vincenzo palumbo aka irregular synth - a producer whos unwavering focus on the dancefloor has shot him up through the ranks in recent years. his boisterous synthetic sounds come on labels like perfekt groove recordings and the likes of richie hawtin support almost everything he releases. here forest people are also enlisted to remix. another fine paring on organism! that matches the veteran skills of irregular synth with the soon to break through ideals of forest people.

the first music to be lifted from her forthcoming sophomore album, zara mcfarlane drops *angie la la* on 2nd december 2013. in many ways an underground cult classic, zaras reworking of this jamaican psych gem by nora dean features former brownswood bubblers alumnus and new yorker leron thomas on trumpet and vocals. consistently one of our favourite producers from the house realm, the truly legendary osunlade aka yoruba soul applies his golden touch to *angie la la*, crafting an exquisitely sensitive and soulful groove founded on booming kicks and handclaps.

retrieval is the debut collaborative album from faith coloccia and alex barnett. artist and composer coloccia was a founding member of everlovely lightningheart, and is perhaps best known as one half of mamiffer. she has contributed to recordings by house of low culture, boris and william fowler collins among others, and collaborations with circle and daniel menche are forthcoming. alex barnett played in oakeater but since 2009 has been active primarily as a solo artist, with releases on catholic tapes, draft, nihilist and others.
