bristol born producer guido releases his second album *moods of future joy* through home town label tectonic recordings. alongside joker and gemmy, guido completed bristols purple trinity generation of dubstep producers, whose collective sound took the worldwide underground scene by storm in 2009.
two artists, two brothers, its guido and danilo schneider who insist on presenting their musical creativity on enough! music. intense energy and passion melt on the ep of >family affairs< and pump up the listener to joyous moods.
surfacing earlier this year with last home (the much loved opener to futureboogies 10 year anniversary compilation), bristol based producer, drummer & dj luke harney aka typesun has had his head down for a while. working on a sound, pulling strands of musical experience together and letting it emerge in its own sweet time.
following a few remixes, as well as luna - an original contribution to the moon harbour in house vol.4 compilation earlier this year - veteran techno producer guido schneider steps up for a first full ep on the label.
three years have passed since the last moon harbour inhouse compilation came out. now >moon harbour inhouse vol.4< is on its way. in accordance with the tried and tested concept, this release also showcases the work of current moon harbour artists. in addition to exclusive tracks by matthias tanzmann, luna city express, dan drastic, ekkohaus, martinez, italoboyz, andy catana and blind minded, special guests like reboot, guido schneider, boris werner and tini & marc antona are also represented on this compilation. the list of artists clearly demonstrates that moon harbour has developed into a label with international scope and appeal. this sampler was compiled and mixed by dan drastic, who has been part of moon harbours artist roster for more than seven years and recently released his >noodle stories ep< on our label.he regularly hosts the moon harbour nights at the leipzig club distillery and is one of the most active moon harbour deejays, together with matthias tanzmann and luna city express
nice price deal !!! state of joy is the latest imprint to join the renowned west of england label collective multiverse music, lining up alongside such auspicious colleagues as tectonic, kapsize, subtext, w.o.w and build. at the forefront of state of joy is bristol-born purple pioneer guido, whose previous releases on peverelists punch drunk label instantly established his credientials as an all-round master of melody.
from celle into the wide world: these days guido schneider is one of the major globetrotters among djs and producers worldwide, but he began his career 15 years ago in provincial germany. however, instead of baking bread rolls, schneider founded his own label neue welten right from the beginning. it was a move that naturally brought him to the capital of electronic music in berlin. what followed was a series of exciting and successful collaborations with other renowned artists, and after dissolving his label, schneider began travelling as a sought after dj, jetting all around the globe. it is little wonder that such a reputable dj and producer also belongs to the diverse highgrade family. he has now produced another ep for the berlin label which brings us the typical guido schneider qualities right before our eyes, or even better: before our ears! the two tracks navigate precicely from the first bar, the minimal sound universe that relies on elaborate percussion, without ever being over produced, and flow into fantastically harmonic vocals that lend the thumping beats an elegant softeness. simply stated, typically schneider.
we are proud to present eveline finks debut ep hula hoop. with hula hoop and loose powder we get to experience two perfectly arranged grooving swinging tracks. you really feel that she has injected her own personal energy and charm into these tracks, they fully deserve their place on enough!. the hula hoop remix by guido schneider maintains all the power and genius of his earlier works and delivers what we expect of him. this ep is one of a kind and a definite must for all music lovers, it is so special in fact that it may warrant its own little space in music land. but i guess you the listener will decide this.
if you thought we were spoiling you with the last build release (baobinga & hyetals joint 12, loved and played by pretty much everyone), then you should probably look away now. yep, once again, the game has been upped most thoroughly: build006 sees guido, one of the most original talents to emerge from the fertile bristol scene, team up with genre-blind bass-music badman (and label boss) baobinga, for another collaborative 12″,,, of impeccable quality and taste… and of course, weird artwork.

when two highly experienced producers and djs like guido schneider and jens bond join forces you can guarantee that fans of electronic dance music will go weak at the knees. no wonder also, that their previous collaborations have always been extremely well recieved. indeed, their dubut release >oh my buffer< from 2004 can still be found residing in many record boxes around the world. after their recent exclusive release >getting sleepy< on highgrade, the berlin label now eagerly awaits the next edition from the super duo. the two tracks >bob & curly< and >out of sight< clearly showcase the rhythmic abilities of former drummer jens bond with crisp beats that get straight to the point. coupled with the ability of guido schneider to create subtle arrangements with original compositions and a sophisticated sound palette, the result is a densely atmospheric work. the tracks travel a path through warm rhythms and psychedelic vocals to the heart of the musical jungle.
wow, 2011er repress und ab geht er !! big 3 tracker incl guido schneider remix !! hammered by fabrice lig, cio d or, monika kruse, jeremy caulfield, tanzmann, miss jools, prins thomas, sasse, tiefschwarz, shinedoe - already in the groove charts top 50
the one we have been waiting for, peverelist and guidos transformations of dubkasm riddims. peverelist is in deep and meditaional form on >strictly ital<, putting ras adams dread drawl to great use over sumptuous subs and a sparingly used late 80s digital-style riff. his awareness of space, vibe and drive is just so on the money here! on the flip guido takes an more modern approach to >nyah keith<, reworking the track within his tougher plastic sound sphere to sound equally robust, but in a different, slightly less subtle manner. big tip for all rooted dubstep heads!
if you added up all the years that producer and djs guido schneider and pascal feos have been in the business of making music, you would come up with over three decades of experience on the dance floor. both are among the most respected global players in the scene, jetting around the globe playing music, releasing numerous records, both on their own, and other well known labels, working alone or in creative partnerships, but always producing great tunes.
massive decks.de tipp!!! this is going to be one of the big summerbombs this year ! guido schneider & jens bond sticked together for this production. they created a driving techhouse tune, wich keeps you on the dancefloor because of its fabulous mixture of groove and hypnotic vocals. on the flip, we have a tiefschwarz remix, which is more into minimal. they created a new feeling by changing the vocals into something different and reducing the beats.
eijajei - aye ya yay! this is a hit record! but what else would you expect when two of berlins hottest dj and producers, guido schneider and jens bond, are working together!? following the duos major success on pokerflat in 2004, we have managed to get the two of them back together for this exclusive release on highgrade. the results are well worth it. >getting sleepy< pulls us comfortably into the musical world of jens bond and guido schneider. without being obvious, and certainly not lazy, the track reclines into a laid back groove that hooks straight into the rhythm, creating a perfect atmosphere for the psychedelic vocals and hypnotic groove. you wont be able to escape the mood, making this the perfect techno weapon for the late night hours. we like! >eijeijei< is the highlight of the record: warm drums, siren like vocals, the whole thing seems to come from a long way away with incredibly smooth beats which make this track so special. maybe this is the sound of a table dance bar in the jungle? its incredibly sexy in any case
played by: magda, troy pierce, laurent garnier, loco dice, monika kruse, someone else, anthony collins, slam, technasia, seth troxler, robert dietz, & many many more ! a must have for a fat sound system! these tracks feed you with energy and euphoria. this is a promise!
new release by antonio barrientos, who did already releases for great stuff and platform b. he is also working a lot together with luetzenkirchen and teamed up for this single with his mate corrado. on top you get a super fine and versatile remix by guido schneider, who is in top form this year. releasing some stunning tunes and remixes for mobile. great minimal, techy house music - up to date for all common dance floors
to kick off into the new year, highgrade brings you a new edition of its various artists compilation. this time we focus on two surprising collaborations from the middle of berlins club circuit who seem to follow the same aim with different methods: clique artist daniel.fx joins up with one of highgrades main producers todd bodine for a deadpan minimal house groover, as well as the massive and challenging monster track by guido schneider from pokerflat together with ostgut/panorama barimpresario dj andre galuzzi - a demanding and enthusing track just perfect to bring on the perfect headrush on the legendary ostgut floor as well as everywhere else
step forward dubfire (aka ali shirazinia from grammy winning dj and production duo deep dish) whos already hit top form this summer with some tasty releases on desolat, funkwelle.net and whose thumping >emissions< features on the minus compilation >expansion contraction<. the beauty of this rework is that it doesnt stray far from the original vibe. dubfire pays the track the full respect it deserves, adding contemporary beats, bass and hat patterns, subliminal efx and tweaks that perfectly compliment the eq sweeps and machine gun snare rolls of the original. panikattack (originally released on plus 8 in 1996 as the b side to sickness) gets a more radical overhaul with guido schneider turning in a typically pragmatic version. by excavating and enhancing the gritty funk that lies buried under the feverish textures of the original, he discovers a totally new dimension. combining the plastik elements with his own trademark swing and razor sharp percussion programming, schneider coaxes the track out of the shadows for some serious peak time action as the bassline bounds forward relentlessly occasionally enveloped by stuttering delays, to negotiate its way through the dubbed out breakdown and on to the end
