creativity lies in various artistic factors based mainly on commitment and maturity that is acquired with it, each project is a decision that is forged with a cold mind and requires to be conceived at the right time, a waiting time between projection and execution, this is what presents us with dorhg on his new label atroc records, where he opens a catalog with the remixes of kalter ende & sarf, a 180g and twelve inches ltd vinyl, entitled “fixing process“. the path taken by dorhg with fixing process reveals his experience and vocation for dynamic, rhythmic, deep and syncopated structures, through icy and mental sequences, without leaving aside the physical and direct in his message. melting is the track that opens the release, it is bent to a deep bass sequence that reiterates its presence without variation, and although it acts as the central axis of the track, it is the percussive elements that are annexed in the background that give a certain energetic charge. indistinctly to the original version, kalter ende refuses to maintain this bass line and leads us to another character more dense and textured in his adaptation, but preserving the rhythmic nerve. coalescence occupies the b-side. with the original, dorhg repeats the formula in terms of intensity, this time it is different components that alternate protagonism in a linear work loaded with particles that go from maximum excitement to calm. on the other hand, sarf creates with his remix a solid, direct techno piece with several ingredients operating in a loop and a deep textured mattress that gradually varies in intensity.

for real avid fans of the cluster/eno axis, this is going to be an essential purchase! - after the release of the second longplayer -deluxe- in august 1975 harmonia went back to touring the rest of the year until roedelius, moebius and rother ended their collaboration in summer 1976. all three members started solo projects, but rejoined as harmonia in september 1976 for a short time when brian eno visited them in forst, germany for eleven days, living and recording with harmonia, before eno went on to work with david bowie. the material from -tracks and traces- is from this eleven days, and was not released until 1997 because the tapes were long considered lost - rykodisc and sony s s3 label did release nine tracks on cd only. here s the expanded re-issue for grönland records from 2009 with an excluisve new artwork for the first time on 2lp-vinyl-set!

in ancient lddlm times, blddlm even, belgium could well have been the freaky house and ecstasy center of the world. if only we could remember all the lost hours. but after all, as the brussel saying goes: its friday, tomorrow is tuesday. at lddlm, we try not to reminisce, that was just setting the mood.we are very happy to welcome arthur johnson in our non-fold, a young producer from liege via marseille and la dame noir. aj is amongst those ever mutating artists, his u-turns slowly composing a real personality, and one fitting our contrarian attitude. in a way perfect stranger reminds us of a good 90’s farley/heller remix, not so much camp fire island than almost sweaty late night trancer. we love those tracks that do not fit our ethos a priori but that we can’t stop playing. cosmo vitelli is a long time family friend and he beams up this stranger through the axis into some kind of romantic italo-german anthem. ballada and secretary discordia show a different side of aj, a dub march echoing dif juz and a percussive machine funk number. we sincerely hope aj keeps on straying for the best, his way being our way.

northsouth records invite emergent talents chris geschwinder and henry hyde to whip up some dazzling peak time house fare, with each artist presenting themselves across two tracks. geschwinder is up first with the charging modern axis of evil, matching the haunting purr of the lead synths with an insistent kick and clap combo that can t be argued with. hes no slouch on in 2 either, getting into a subtly lopsided and seriously swinging spot that its hard to wriggle out of. henry hyde too seems to have a focused vision for what they create, fusing the pops and wobbles of minimal and matching it with the overall bulbous nature of the music on northsouth.

a voice in the ether. a calm, clement drone. a gentle, pulsing throb. like the ghost of a forgotten future as imagined by the distant past, certain creatures sophomore lp nasadiya sukta is a study in timelessness - crystalline, heartfelt ambient music designed to push light through shadow. nasadiya sukta is the debut release on mysteries of the deep, a record label dedicated to total sensory immersion. mysteries (as its known colloquially and affectionately) launched in 2011 after a particularly fruitful late-night mixing session, first as a cult podcast series dedicated to narcotic music of all kinds, subsequently expanding into a series of seasonal events. now, with the release of nasadiya sukta, mysteries of the deep becomes a full-fledged outlet for music to play in the dark. certain creatures is the alias of brooklyn-based artist oliver chapoy, and nasadiya sukta was crafted especially for mysteries of the deep. its genesis came when grant aaron, mysteries proprietor, tapped chapoy to perform at mysteries halloween event in 2015. his performance was the nights axis point, bridging earlier subdued sounds with late-night upbeat moods. two years later, reworked and reconfigured, this performance is reborn as nasadiya sukta. although divided into six tracks, nasadiya coheres into a single extra-terrestrial mass, its beautiful understated elegance encouraging repeat listens. simultaneously harking back to ambient classics from the 90s (you know who they are) while cementing chapoy as a visionary artist with his own unique voice, nasadiya sukta is one for the space travellers indeed.
