mauro picotto returns to spread more of his own brand of italian-alchemy amour! after the fantastic success of >diamond<, picotto returns with his end of summer anthem >love message<. with the success of his meganite ibiza parties still fresh, mauro drops his latest dancefloor gem. the don of melodic techno takes a softer, yet no less powerful route on >love message<. housey beats, and euphoric synth line make the original a sure fire, hands in the air number.

this is a limited 12inch vinyl release on kieran hebdens (four tet) text records label. 500 only for the world. two new remixes of one of the stand out tracks from the debut album by one little plane that came out last summer. the first mix is by avus who is one of the artists on james holdens border community label. a beautiful piece of melodic techno that has been getting lots of play at border community nights since late last year. the other remix is by joe goddard from hot chip. techno with a strong uk garage influence. following on from the amazing remixes he has done for everyone from gang gang dance to kraftwerk.

zuckerwatte is the second single from oliver koletzkis new album >großstadtmärchen<. and zuckerwatte, which translates as candyfloss is a truly magical tale about love and loss in the big city. the original features juli holzs softly whispering voice that is so very fragile, and so very beautiful. this is a softly grooving electro-pop discovery. but of course this song has also been transformed for the dancefloor on this single that also features two more tracks from olivers album. first up is the remix by david august, one half of the duo august & bachert who delivers a top-notch glitchy tech-house edit that makes great dramaturgical use of the original track. next up is björn störigs vision of zuckerwatte. the drummer of olivers live outfit the koletzkis envisions juli holz perform her sweet and sticky singing over some neo-soul tech-rnb influenced electronica that features a spanish guitar, some great claps and some very nice synthesizers. on the flip there is koletzkis instrumental house-homage kusskompatibel and these habits, on which only seventeen-year-old singer pyur makes her debut. she sings wonderfully harmonic over this down-beat trip-hop groove and it results in a great hit for the late summer. this single is more than a single. its the best thing before the album

huge monster-tunes!! supported by steve lawyer, stephan hinz, dubfire, matthias schaffhäuser, stephan bodzin, f.e.x., dubnitzky, someone else, eyerer and many more. philogresz aka ilker soylu was born in istanbul, that huge metropolis of turkey in the early 80’s. in the summer of 2002 he moved to dordrecht / the netherlands and started his education of music production at art academy of utrecht (hku) and later stage sae (school of sound engineering). soon after that he set up his own company 078 productions. with 078 productions, he set up an organization team with an aim to create a new dimension into southern holland’s and yet into the dutch electronic music scene. the past 2 years he has been focusing on his own productions and so far has released musical pieces on record labels such as: black hole records (as nefesz), manual, teamrecords, stolen moments and magnitude recordings.

this is the first single cut from the new lawrence album which will be released in the late summer. >jill< contains two deep & melodic house tracks as well as two ambient tracks for your laidback activities

debuting with >i believe< on the monumental (10 records) compilation >techno 2: the next generation< (alongside carl craig, marc kinchen, and jay denham) in 1990. octave one is the brainchild of the phenomenal native sons of detroit, mi (usa), the burden brothers. the band, (made up of lenny burden and lawrence burden), have had the privilege of touring live and djing throughout the world, including the countries of germany, spain, greece, belgium, vienna, the netherlands, the uk, ireland, scotland, malaysia, japan, the us, and russia, among many other places. throughout their careers they have worked with such artists as derrick may, underground resistance, juan atkins, anthony shake shakir, among others. they have remixed tracks for such artists as massive attack, akabu (joey negro), dj rolando (jaguar), steve bug, john thomas, the trampps, rhythim is rhythim, and inner city. two years of live touring and three years of recording come together for the brothers latest musical offering. reaching back and rejuvenating their pure electronic detroit sound, o1 produce a dance floor heavy techno journey. >summers on jupiter< showcases the burdens signature rough and tumble production style. several tracks are already gracing the decks of the likes of jeff mills, laurent garnier, carl craig, richie hawtin, and claude young among many others. to celebrate their first studio album in four years, octave one take the electronic beat down on the road through 2009.

fast forward 2008. may be later bridges sound and mood from the summery and sublime to the dark and throbbing. while mars cello floats and warms, burdelia chugs somewhere between chicago and early nyc house. fade me in zips along with furious kink and dubious vox by dinkys longtime friend jorge gonzalez. seven 2 seven, when aimed at 8am berlin ravers, massive freak outs ensue. she is moving features minimal vocalist extraordinaire big bully, together they attain that vital equilibrium of naughty and nice. the album closes with mind, an electronic fusion moving, looming, eerie, and reassuring. may be later is an open door to ms. alejandra iglesias development exposing the path, connections, and influences that brought her here. the beach, nyc underground in all its flavors, berlin, the stage, detroit, electronic waves from all directions, chicago, mega-clubs, it is all here and it is all her own!! re-release !!
