For the joy of those who know (and even more so for those who dont...), here come some Classics with the capital C. Treated, reworked and re edited by the unusual suspects, these gems shine for quality originality, and most of all, variety. From the late 60s (B2) to the 21st century (B3 came out only a few years ago), this 12inch encompasses some immortal tracks that bring joy to whomever the listener. Different folks, different strokes, yet A1 had to be one of the most air played tune of the 80s, given the POPularity it still enjoys. A2 is one of the finest moments in a legendary Funkateers career: top class arrangements and groove. B1 sounds like the perfect summer outdoor party tune...boogie oogie oogie! No... not that one thats been rinsed for decades, this ones less predictable. B2 shows theres room for bop modal deepness in this killer 12inch, going back as far as the late 60s... on Blue Note of course. Closing the series B3, a real surprise duet of the new millennium from an album that even topped the charts in 2004... smashing! DJ or not, this 12inch is real hot! Bring out those summer BBQ grills, for we got the soundtrack.
